Ive been fueling at the Royal Truck Stop for more than 45 years. It was a Texaco back then. This truck stop has had its ups and downs over the years and I suppose that currently its doing pretty well. Fuel stations are clean and the store is modern. There didnt appear to be any undesirables around, no drugs or lot lizards. I felt safe using this facility, unlike some other LA area truck stops.

Showers are clean. I needed to stop as I was out of time. Place was good. No complaints.

This place is okay I did not give it a single star because of the place itself but rather because of the overnight girl that works here shes extremely rude has a terrible attitude and deliberately does paperwork and takes an extremely long period of time to do it well drivers are standing here in line waiting to get fuel so that they can get on with their days and if you tell her anything she gets hostile towards you. So as a result of her I try to come here as little as possible which is not good for the owners of this place as we are close by and this is the closest place for us to fuel and have many trucks that come in and out of here. If this kind of stuff continues we may stop coming here altogether.

Fast and friendly clean restrooms and showers. Food is good and drinks always cold. .

I searched for a truck stop and saw this place wasnt too hard to find but it is way in the back just keep calling all the 18 wheeler trucks this truck stop is mint truly for trucks theres only a few parking spaces for cars and I think those parking spaces are for the workers who work there. inside is really nice and neat and everything put in its place so you can find all your typical trucker needs from safety vests to clothes to doing your laundry and such and then try and find a tight space to fit into and it is a fee for parking to be honest when I was driving up to this truck stop I seen some truckers down the way parked but I wouldnt guarantee wanting to stay there for like a 34-hour reset type thing most likely those truckers would have been gone before anybody even noticed they were there......it says it has a Chesters Chicken and I went inside so yeah it does their shirts are pretty pricey I paid $15 for one and there is security there so at least theres a little bit more comfort withfeeling secure there is also a nice patio area where you can sit and eat Im not sure what this covid-19 if thats still available to enjoy a meal there but it is there.

These people discriminate truck who park to use the bathroom or to buy a meal. They will ask you to get your behind out of the lot unless you pay up big pockets. They charge for everything, dont come here, its a renovated ghetto station.

Love this place. Quick easy and simple. Food is very good considering low prices. Im a truck driver and if Im here for work in my rig or with my family in a car, its quick, fast and yummy. Try it out yall.

$15 parking, portable nasty toilets, no warm food, no showers, small store with poor selection. Construction on site and on and on....I stopped here bcoz delivred at Walmart DC. few miles from here n picking up today in S.B just 2miles away. otherwise I wont stop here.One start for the nice pp n quiet at night. They did actually fix the place I like how they fix it they clean and they try to give you a very good service even they are in the bad areas because this area called in and San Bernardino area it’s really risky and bad areas for for high-volume load and stuff like that

This place is great since it was rebuilt.The store is now modern and with a good selection.Restrooms are clean and they have showers.The only thing I didnt like is you cant pay at the pump. You have to go inside first and pay the cashier.

Terrible place. They charge you $20 to park there for the day. Not even overnight. and then some jackass knocks on my door and wakes me up asking me to move parking spaces. That was an employee. when a truck driver is sleeping, thats when they are resting because they are in control of a very heavy and dangerous vehicle. You dont wake somebody up asking them to relocate their vehicle you stupid idiot.

All kinds of cool electronic gadgets, tools, toys, weapons and MORE. ALL FOR A REASONABLE LOW PRICE. I am one of the lucky few who has had the opportunity to stumble across this hidden 💎. By chance; I needed to use the restroom and walked in to see if there restroom privileges had been affected by Covid-19...and..oh boy, how lucky I was to need the restroom at the moment...wow...it took me 20mins just to get from the entrance doors.. to the restroom..lolOh AND NOT ONLY THAT! The employees there; Im talking even down to the freaking security guard (night shift) are awesome! Very nice. Very courteous. Very helpful ....and superb customer service.Thank you guys.

Actually zero stars. Dirtbag place, they came in middle of night and wanted money to park. Left a note saying pay or get towed $50. A truck stop I will never go again.. :(

The Best Truck Stop in California. One stop shop. Excellent tire supply and service - Cruz Tires. Decent restaurant- Goodys. We are travelling cross country from California to Ohio in our RV. Lost our brakes on the 10E. Fwy. Adjacent to the Royal truck stop. Jose the manager of Cruz tire shop was kind enough to help us. We will forever be indebted to him. Thanks - So Much!

Absurdly expensive for a cut rate truck stop without armed security or any real amenities. The cost is $20 for ANY space as there are no free spaces available. Couples, if you want come here to shower, its $15 PER PERSON. Which is unlike ANY other truck stop in the entire country. Im back in the cab, Im too angry to hang out more so I cannot speak for the food. The only upside is that it seems to be somewhat clean.

I have been a loyal & dedicated customer to Royal for a couple years now & I could say that I actually liked this place & had no complaints, until this morning that I went in and received without a doubt the worse & rudest customer service that I have ever seen or received anywhere ever before!!!!I dont know what type of establishment your running where your employees come in to work not only smelling like a brewery, but with a terrible attitude & treating not only all the customers but her co-workers as well very mean, rude, & hateful!!! I must say this was absolutely the worse customer service I have ever gotten from anyone at any place ever before!!!!Furthermore if you care at all about your business, reputation & customers and you want your customers to keep coming back then I truly recommend that you look into the problem you have at hand with your very unpleasant & extremely rude morning cashier & you do something to rectify this problem ASAP cause remember that a good, happy & returning customer, starts with good customer service!!!! I could guarantee you without a single doubt that with the type of person you have working there in the morning that you will definitely keep losing out on good business, good customers & good money just like you lost a good customer today!!!!I really hope you address this problem soon

Cruz tire is the best spot for tires and truck repair

Total dump of a place. Trash strewn over the lot. When I was there, 2 pumps were out of commission. You have to pay to park here. Either 10 bucks or 50 gallons in fuel. So, in reality, either 10 bucks, or around 170 bucks, your choice. They supposedly have showers. I never saw them. The store is small but the employees are good. The parking lot is small. Very small. Dont assume youre gonna be parking here. While I might be able to recommend the services here to others, I wont recommend the parking. For 5 bucks more, you can park at the TA and enjoy much more than you could here.

Great truck stop great people that work here always friendly and courteous and treat you with a smile yeah you have to pay for parking but for me its worth it Ive never had a problem here and well always Park here,,,thank you Royal truck stop.

New convience store and fuel islands almost complete. Much nicer than the past. $15 24hr parking w/o fuel not bad price. Still somewhat cramped. Will be great when complete.

Traveling cmv mechanic, commercial driver’s license holder, sleep in a camper in my truck. Day shift was friendly, I got a shower, did my laundry, went back to the truck for the night. 1:45am security wakes me up and tells me to leave. That I “need a DOT number to sleep on site” I call the front counter and calls me a liar, that “day shift would never say that’s okay” I spent money here, bought fuel, shower, etc. and kicked out. F*** you.

Recently remodeled, but still has the old school truck stop vibe. Goodys restaurant has the best food in the area; much better than TA and Petro.

Nasty looking from the road. For the price of parking they could clean up, this is one on my list to avoid

Its old worn out, but they were helpful. Getting me a parking spot when lot was full.They are trying to renovate but are having troubles with the city getting plans approved. . it will great when they fix it up.... Untill then its a great place to park.

This place has never been much, but now that its going through renovations, it doesnt even have bathrooms. Its very small and tight, and traffic can be horrendous around it. But it has a truck scale, and the staff is friendly.04/2019 update: The inside is done! It is clean and spacious and beautiful. The new scale is open. Theyre re-doing their pumps, making it tighter than ever, and the ones that are open are a little scary (steel plates over an open trench). Still no inside bathrooms.

My husband parks there everytime he comes home. Its close to home and the remodeling they did looks fabulous

The truck wash guys are friendly and fairly quick. Best prices on washouts and tractor wash. Tight parking but your in California. Better than nothing. Restrooms are nasty though better than last time. Hopefully they are trying to get things cleaned.

Caused me to lose over 1,000$ worth of tools after buying fuel from them for years. I was repairing my vehicle and clearly broke down. The restaurant people were gracious and kind in letting me do what I needed to do then he came and because he was the owner started throwing his weight around repeatedly threatening to call the police and have my vehicle impounded. Luke I wanted to be stuck? I wasnt harming anything. After the 3rd time and security said the police were on their way I moved some of my tools off the property and they were taken before I could go back and retrieve them. Totally unnecessary and inhumane. You dont treat people like that just because you can. Ive been going thru a lot and what he did just absolutely crushed me and I may not be able to recover from it. Its not the worst anyone has done to me but it came at the worst time and this rating/review is the only recourse I have. I know I will get thru this but I will never forget how I was treated it was completely unnecessary and totally uncalled for
