Avoid Saturday, if you absolutely have to go here. Cashier lady working was rude for no reason and got agitated for being asked questions.. ruined my entire family’s whole day, never again on Saturday.. Cashiers on any other days are wonderful though

This is a very good asian grocery to go to if you are looking to try it make any Korean style food/dinner !! There are even pre make kimchi in huge jars (if you’re a kimchi lover) to purchase. There’s a lot of different chips and deserts from Korea that you can purchase here and try it out. They do have some (very little tho) other asian country food ingredients choice but definitely come here if you want Korean food ingredients. The price is not too expensive (it is an asian store/grocery so) but it depends too. There are plenty of parking too (located just in front of the grocery store). It’s right next to the dollar general store. It’s right next on your right hand side after you pass the traffic light.

Great place! Just went here for the first time today. The workers are super friendly. The store is jam packed with goods! They sell a variety of Makgeolli too! They has have a kitchen in that back that is currently doing carry out. I had the bulgogi, which was $8 and a good portion and comes with all the typical sides! Im not a Korean food expert but I thought it was delicious! Overall, this place is a gem and I will certainly be back! Cant wait to try more of their dishes and drink more Makgeolli lol

This is such a gem hidden in a tiny strip mall off High St.While the offerings arent as numerous as some other local markets, due to the focus being primarily Korean foodstuffs, what they do carry is incredibly high quality and beautifully displayed in a near spotless store. The staff is incredibly nice. Ill be back.

Very nice little Korean kitchen in the back of this market (that seems to have everything) It was everything wed hoped for. A great variety of truly authentic Korean food. Hot and spicy but not too hot. We had researched all of Korean type foods and then researched reviews. Found this little gem and was not dissapointed. The two Korean women cooked right there next to the 6 tables near their kitchen. It was really awesome. They were full of hospitality! You wont be disappointed.

My first visit to this store it is very clean and this is the place to go for Lotte snacks or soup bases. They do have quite a selection of tofu, seasonings, tea, seafood, and a hidden restaurant in the back. Nice lady, she greeted me with a smile and polite. It is a small limited amount of marketplace items so I picked up Kimchi (only several choices) or food I cant find close to home as most near Columbus. This is the store to go to if you cook Korean, Filipino, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese dishes. It lacks gift items, meat is expensive, and some of the frozen foods can be since most are delivered from Chicago (I completely understand), but not much drink selection of choices. Lotte Oriental Foods is fairly priced, youll pay more at Morse Rd where they dont interact with you much if you arent Korean.

Solid small Korean market. Clean, good selection of goods, and there are often some deals here and there. Overall, slightly more expensive than what you could find at a larger pan-Asian market, but with more specialized products and a more pleasant experience. They carry some items that I have trouble finding elsewhere and it keeps me coming back.

Ive been here several times because its very close to apartment and I like being able to walk here and by different things. While I like some of their food and selection, a lot of the food is over priced (3.00 a carton for lowest quality eggs?) and whoever the old guy is (an owner maybe?) is someone who I can only say bad things about that will be censored out on here. If hes cleaning and youre in the way, hell simply just walk up to your cart and move and act like youre not there. If you go in before close, he will remind you what time it is, as if you are an enormous inconvenience just for being in the store ten minutes before close. He will also take your cart to the cash register if you arent by it for a second. Its wild how rude they can be to customers; hes extremely lucky he wasnt cussed all the way out on two occasions. Also, the lights go off on their freezer and I guess they are too cheap or lazy to put new bulbs in.If youre looking specifically for Korean groceries, you can go to Han Ma Oom or Arirang Market (both of Bethel).

I have visited multiple Asian markets but this by far is my new favorite! We had dinner at the resturant in the back before shopping, the food was amazing! After filling up our stomachs we started shopping, the selection was great with many options (I mainly go for the korean groceries). The staff were the most polite Ive met so far, they made me feel very comfortable and welcomed and were nice to chat with while checking out! A must visit for sure.

How could they raise prices on the rice and ramen of there own. Within three days, they raise the prices on everything stating to the customers that if they dont like the price or dont have money then dont buy it. Very disappointing. It seems as the owner is taking advantage over situations like this. Since people are panic buying he knows that someone will buy it no matter what the prices are going for. Lets be honest and show empathy .stop being greedy.

Small grocery store but everything you need is here is your from KOREA and need produce, meats, icecreams, soju, etc. The store has been in Columbus for over 30 years I believe and is still standing strong. The real gem is the small restaurant that has about 5-6 tables. The food is very authentic and very cheap. About $8-10 an entree and comes with side dishes. I rather come here to eat than any of the other Korean restaurants because the dishes would probably cost $3-5 more.

My family has shopped here many times. My last experience was so disappointing that I will not shop here again! I watched the cashier speak kindly to Korean shoppers so she was NOT having a bad day. When my family payed for our items( we speak Korean) she insisted on speaking English and held our money to the light for a ridiculously long time as if we were criminals! My children were so sad to be treated that way!

Great place to look for especially Korean grocery items. There are 4 other alternative stores to Lotte but this store sells things in more organized manner compared to Saraga and cheaper than Arirang, and Tenske and stock more items than other small stores. Their small restaurant inside sells decent Korean food. New cook they have makes authentic Korean meal for cheaper price than other Korean restaurant nearby. Try out their Yookyejang.
