I had an issue with my Chevy Malibu. I spoke to 2 different customer service reps (can’t remember their names) and they answered ALL of my questions and allowed me to feel extremely comfortable and reassured about my issues. they both helped me set up appointments. I also, spoke with Greg Mccart and he was absolutely wonderful. He answered my questions. Sent me texts and information regarding my issues. He called me back and also verbally spoke with me about my issues and reassured me that everything will be taken care of. I was going to have to wait about a week or so for my car and Greg and his team actually fixed it that day. They were all so wonderful!!

Service department had my vehicle for 11 weeks. I was told it would take 2-3 days to start tearing my engine apart to diagnose. When I called a week later, I was told the he said 2-3 weeks, not days. This was not the case, so I called to talk to the GM. He was out, so the Online sales manager took my call. After he talked to the rep, he came back and he insisted the rep would not have told me 2-3 day. No rentals or loaner vehicles for the 11 weeks it was in the shop. Service Tech did not update me on anything unless I contacted him. Overall, I would not go back to this dealership for any services needed on my vehicle. If the GM would care to contact me, I will be more than happy to go over this whole process in more detail.

I made a 8:30 appointment to have my oil change and to diagnose why the motor in my car was vibrating. At 10:37 they take my car into the shop and change the oil, 5hrs after my appointment time thats all they accomplished. The service writer should have checked with the Service manager to make sure that they could get to my car in a timely manner. They ask if I wanted to bring it back another day but why would I do that when you didnt honor my appointment time.

I took my truck in on a Wednesday because I felt like something was wrong with it. They had it a week just to tell me nothing was wrong with it. After I got it back, it still seemed like something was wrong with it, so I took it back. The looked at it and said they found like 5 things wrong with it and that none of it was covered by the warranty. Well after getting it home later on that day, the cv joint was messed up. Its like do yall get a certain kind on commission for messing my truck up or what. Get a experienced mechanic first off then quit trying to make more money off of me by messing up everything.

I had a tricky and difficult problem with my cars electrical al system. Mark took his time and trouble shot the problem until he correctly found it and repaired it as good as new. I wish I could take all my vehicles here. Also they’re great about communicating and kept me up to date on the process.

I brought vehicle in for erratic idle/surging issues. Your team diagnosed it as needing catalytic converters. Once repaired, less that 5 miles from leaving the shop, same issues remain. I returned vehicle and reported the same exact issues. Your team then diagnosed it as needing a fuel pump. Upon my arrival to pick up vehicle after your team stated it was ready, I observed my vehicle with the hood up. The service advisor had to jump the vehicle off prior to handing it off to me. He made no mention that I needed a battery or that I needed to charge the battery. I drive the vehicle 15 minutes to lunch and the vehicle would not crank, leaving me stranded. For one, I paid $2000 for catalytic converters that did not fix the issue, and for two, the vehicle left me stranded after Rivertown stated it was good to go. Ive brought numerous vehicles here for years, but not anymore.

The clerks were friendly & courteous. It wasnt the Red Carpet treatment as it once was, whereas, when you drive up, the clerk would come TO your vehicle to assist you! Dont understand why they stopped doing this! I noticed this PRE-Covid. But other than that, great Service!

Poor experience, they dont know their own prices on their own products and services. I asked for a estimated price to install a part a few days ago and got told a different price on day of installation. After the installation of the product, it still didnt work properly. No apology, just told bring it back again, like I have nothing else to do. I also asked an estimated price to get my AC diagnosed and was bluntly told free, but after coming in for the appointment I got told a different story about the price of the diagnosis. They have lack of actual information and communication between their departments and customers. They also need to change their so called appointment times to first come first serve or actually take appointment times seriously. My appointment was at 8:30 am and vehicle didnt even get in till close to 11:00.

Best experience Ive had buying a new car. Very responsive before arriving on site. They beat the financing terms I had brought with me and gave me a very fair trade in value. Had deal 95% done before arriving. Thought I was going to have a bad day when I got there and they told me to go see Fast Eddie but he gave me the same numbers he had provided me via email. Took about 1.5 hours for the paperwork and I was back on the road.

I received an email stating it had been a while since my last service on my husbands 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD, and if I scheduled an appointment within 30 days of the email, I could get a Full Synthetic Oil Change for $29.95. It stated it was only for the VIN # of this particular truck. I made him an appointment for today, August 9 at 9:15. He gave them the coupon when he arrived for his appointment. After waiting until 12:55 for them to finish, he was informed (after the oil change) that the coupon wasnt valid for a diesel truck. BUT, the email has the truck VIN # and they would know up front its a diesel truck. This is nothing but a scam. UPDATE: The general manager called my husband this morning and apologized and is issuing him a refund for the oil change. Im glad this issue was resolved because weve bought several vehicles here and have used them for service for several years.

Dropped my car off at 7 or 8am appointment initially for a recall, but went ahead and got an oil change and check car for shaking when I go over 60mph and noise. Everything went fine and everyone was nice, they got me a Lyft home, cool. But I had to pick my son up from school and I let him know that when I called(and I never was called until I called them even though I was told He would call back and let me know the status and they never updated me on my vehicle for hours I heard nothing.)Finally I decided to call, at 12-1o’clock. Had to get my kid at 3. It was raining also. The school is like a mile or a mile in a half down the road. I would have walked but again it was raining. Called Jaime and he said it wasn’t ready and he hadn’t called cause they was still trying to figure the noise coming from the back. Ok. But by this time they had my car half the day. Could have offered to get me a Lyft to get my son cause they had my car for hours and it was really a big inconvenience for me cause I only got one car and I didn’t enjoy walking in the rain cause everyone else was working and couldn’t help at the time. Tried getting a Lyft myself but it’s hard to get a Lyft or Uber in Phenix City. I didn’t get my car until the service center was about to close. And by then the whole day had passed and all that was done was an oil change and tire balance cause y’all didn’t have the parts to fix the recall on the suspension. I’m not complaining as they did fix one problem and changed my oil. But never fixed the recall issue and never figured out the noise which might be apart of the recall problem. Hopefully nothing goes wrong while I’m waiting to hear from someone about the arrival of the parts needed. But still I wonder what took soooo long if all they did oil change and tire balance, I understand there are other customers but I was one of the first to get there and I had an appointment but yet I was the very last car it seems to leave, that was just ridiculous

Did not get the service requested in the timeline given by service adviser. Had to wait an entire DAY to get my vehicle back. I have always used your facilities for my service work, but this time they let me down. I work out of my vehicle, and was disappointed that I had to resort to second class services to my customers because of lack of access to my primary vehicle. Im going to rethink my future services at your establishment because this was not what I expected. The service was completed, and service adviser did give a monetary discount for service, but this hurt. I normally dont answer surveys, but for what its worth, I did this one.

This review is still pending. I just got my vehicle back out of the shop for a few of the same issues that I took it to the shop for the very first place. I’m noticing a few things that’s happening with my vehicle such as Little noises near & around my steering & brakes again etc. I’ve spent a good amount of money to have a few things fixed. Let’s just say, just like we know our kids, I know my vehicle & know when something feels off or a little different regardless of what I was told. So because of that I must honestly say that I’m not as satisfied with my experience as I have desired to be but what do you do? All a person want in a business (especially a car dealership) is honest people doing beyond & above quality work for an affordable & honest cost from start to finish. It is what it is I guess.

The communication from the service department was almost non- existent. From my understanding there was a delay with the part. I wasn’t informed until after I called to check the status of my vehicle. I was told that there were no loaner vehicles, if after being informed that they didn’t have a date of when to expect the part. It wasn’t until two weeks later my husband called to inform the dealership that I needed a vehicle for work and to get our four children to and from school. At that point I was given a loaner vehicle an was very appreciative. On week three my vehicle was repaired and ready to be picked up. I was not informed the part had arrived and because of the miscommunication I was out of town for work and was unable to return the loaner and pick up my vehicle the same day. I informed them that due to work It would be Friday (2 days later) when I could pick up my vehicle. They called my husband and I each day to inform us the loaner needed to be returned and if it was not we would be charged $45 per day. If I was informed and the communication process was better I could have planned accordingly. I was contacted more about retiring the rental then I was about the status of my vehicle within the three weeks it was being serviced. Not to mention that our vehicle was brought to service for the same issue and I was told that they didn’t notice anything and replaced a different part. Within the last three months my vehicle was serviced three times. Hopefully we don’t have to return anytime soon. This was not the experience I was expecting from a GMC dealership especially for the amount we’ve paid for the additional warranty.

I was so excited come buy my first Cadillac I’ve wanted for so many years . I drove 5 hours to buy a 2014 from here . I leave to drive home and as I’m driving realize the cue system doesn’t work nor does the back up camera and the check engine light came on. I’m sad to say they are only willing to fix the sensor problem of course cause it’s cheap and I’m stuck with a car that I can’t control the radio or the XM stations also cannot turn the air to heat and several more things becauSe of this. I should have been told about this before they sold me the car and now I’m stuck paying a ton of money to fix it . Bad business

I recently took my newly purchased (from another dealership) 2015 Yukon for a full tune up. They charged me $1200 for the works (new spark plugs, flushing systems, etc) which I was happy to do to keep my new purchase running smooth since it does have high mileage. So they say. A few weeks later my check engine light came on, so I took it back thinking something they did was faulty. No, they said it would cost nearly $5000 to replace all my lifters and I had a bad cylinder. They charged me $488 to “put my engine back together” where they had to remove the valve covers for “diagnostics.” I took it to another mechanic who said he could tell that they had never even removed the valve cover, and the spark plugs were all still old. Not to mention that the lifters were not even the problem. It was just a bad fuel injector that costs $130. I feel completely scammed out of my money.

First off I really like the dealer, people are great and they do keep you informed. I gave them 2 stars because they are too expensive. I had and engine light and to fix it they had to change 1 catalytic converter and one sensor. I also had them fix the hose for the windshield washer . Total was 2558.43. They do not give the standard 10 or 5 percent discount for military. They just take off 50.00. The converter cost alone was 1692.67. They are much more expensive then the dealer I normally go in Mcdnough Georgia but they are two hours away. The prole there are very nice.

So service writer Stewart Michael did the writing. ..He tried to put a water pump on that I didn’t need!!!!!I’m mechanically inclined new I didn’t need it called to dispute that issue and got a little attitude from Mr Stewart.I didn’t feel right, I came for one thing and told I needed something I didn’t need.I called the following day and requested Michael be put on the overseeing of my truck.I’m just a hard working citizen trying to make itWith my old 07 Yukon. Brought vehicle in for recall and check engine light. Both were taken care of, but after driving for a couple miles, engine light came back on. Brought vehicle back. Staff was apologetic, and immediately went to work on it. One of the replaced parts was defective, so it was replaced again. I havent had an issue since picking it up. On March 16 I have both front hub bearings replaced and rotors resurfaced for over $1000. That, in itself, is ridiculous. On March 22, I have four brand new tires put on and the tire technician asks me if I had any work done to the bearings recently because there is grease all over the place, inside the rim of the front driver side wheel. The next available appointment I could make, April 12, I take my car back and I’m told the leak is a problem with the CV shaft and it “definitely wasn’t there before.”However unlikely it is for me to prove that you caused the damage, it is seriously questionable how out of $1038, 965 of it was in labor. Equally as questionable is the $500 I was quoted to repair the CV shaft when the part is roughly $90.

Bought a new car in May of 2020. We were under the assumption (based on our conversation during the buying process) that any scratches on the vehicle would be fixed under a separate warranties (we purchased a $499 warranty for the paint and another $499 warranty for dents).Fast forward to now and I call to file a claim to repair some scratches on the vehicle, but was told, by both warranty companies, that the warranty doesnt cover scratches. I call their Collision department and they refer back to the two other companies. I talk to someone in their Finance department who tells me that they dont sell anything that covers scratches on the vehicle (even though my wife and I specifically remember this conversation).I doubt anything can or will be done, but this leaves a bad taste in my mouth to the point I probably wont return there to purchase another vehicle (hence the 2 stars). So let this serve as a warning to others who may be interested in a warranty to repair scratches on their vehicle.

Brought my 2010 GMC Canyon with 86,000 miles in to confirm a diagnosis from Midas earlier in the week. My truck was making a horrible rattling noise upon startup that would go away after a minute or two when it warmed up. Midas had said the rattling I was hearing upon startup might be the timing chain. Left my truck at GMC service department overnight so they could confirm or deny the timing chain issue. Sure enough they also said it was the timing chain and gave a quote to fix it for $2900. I went to Yelp and got a quote from some local mechanics to see if I could get the price down a bit. The only mechanic to reply to my inquiry quoted me just under $600. I was confused by the price difference and went to YouTube for help. After watching a few YouTube videos people were saying they had the same issue, but it was the serpentine belt and or the serpentine belt tensioner. The videos had the exact same noise my truck was making. Bought the belt and tensioner for $75 online and replaced both. Imagine that the sound has complete gone away.I’m extremely disappointed in GMC for not properly diagnosing my truck and trying to charge me $3K for repairs. I went there for expert advice not to get robbed.

My husband took our vehicle in to the get tire monitor system serviced on 4/29. Deana told my husband that it would be a 6-8 hour wait. So they scheduled an appt for the next day at 11am. We drop the car off and Deana tells my husband they will let us know when its ready. In addition to servicing the tire monitor system I asked her if they could add an oil change since they were going to keep our vehicle. Later in the afternoon, we get a text saying our vehicle is ready for pick up. We get there and Deana tells my husband that since we declined the recommendations they only performed an oil change. We didnt decline anything. We didnt receive anything to decline. We didnt receive a text nor an email with an explanation of what was wrong/reccomendations with our vehicle. She looked at my email and say its right here. You have to click the link, but it was the link to the date of last service visit. She said well I sent it out and someone declined it. She then told us they could order the sensor for the car if we wanted. We told her yes. That was the whole reason for coming in the first place. She said we will give you a call as soon as it comes in. Its been a week. No call, no text, no update, and still no sensor....just an email this morning listing the items we now postponed?! This is ridiculous, unprofessional, and unacceptable!! I understand that with COVID business is different, times are busy, and things are delayed. Im well aware of that, Im a healthcare worker. Maybe they were too busy and just figured taking care of some of it would be ok. Perhaps they sent my personal information to another customer and they declined it. Or honestly they just forgot to send the inspection report/explanation out and just said they did so the blame goes away. Whatever the reason, dont tell me I declined something when I didnt especially when I didnt receive anything to decline. I understand mistakes happen. Maybe they were too busy or whatever the excuses are, but certainly now dont tell me,especially through email, I postponed something because you forgot to order the sensor!!

Purchased a 2016 Sierra 2500. It’s a great truck and no major issues. The minor ones I have had were fixed expertly and permanently.The service Dept. Is very helpful and communicative. I always bring my vehicle to them for services. Prices are a little more than some places here in columbus but the quality cannot be beat you will get your moneys worth from those guys. I honestly paid too much for the truck according to the reviews on it but it was what I wanted and have not ever regretted it. As Far as the Sales Dept goes it was a Fair deal all around in my mind great place. Will see them again and i do recommend

(Car wash)?????Just purchased my new GMC AT4 6.2 liter had a noise coming from under the truck . I had the truck for about a week great truck so far. Service was great when I walked in and also fixed the issue with no problem. My service provider did an excellent job. My only disappointment was I was under the impression that when I purchased a 60k Truck less then a week I would at least get a complimentary car wash on my first visit .

Made a 10am appointment a week prior to have headlights evaluated for replacement & check U-joint on a 2010 Escalade. Dropped off vehicle on time. Got an Uber ride home because their “shuttle service” had no Lyft drivers at the time and people were waiting ahead of me. Called service at 3pm to inquire had anything been determined and was informed that my vehicle had not been looked at yet because all technicians had been pulled to do oil changes. I was told my car would be “next.” Upon being told they close at 5:30, I instructed the advisor NOT to take my vehicle back that day because I would not be able to get it before they closed IF they even had time to look at it. I went without my vehicle all day for no reason. They need to revamp their procedures. If I have an appt for diagnostic/repair at 10am then my vehicle should be seen before someone else who has a later appt for an oil change. Found out later that a friend had the same experience with an oil change appt at another Rivertown dealership next door. Sat 3 1/2 hours waiting and finally gave up and took his car and left. Rivertown has become increasingly frustrating over the years. They need to quit overbooking more vehicles than they have the capability of servicing. Time is valuable. I won’t go back.
