Amazing art right at the visitor center. A sampling of what the rest of downtown has to show.
Beautiful place to visit and get a sense of the city. Fabulous gift shop. Wish they had better parking.
Great starting point for a visit to Columbus. Took their modern architecture tour. It qas excellent.
Columbus Ohio is a mecca for modern architecture. It is the only small town that is highly ranked for architectural inventions and design. There are many tours each day covering different topics and each tour starts at the visitor center. It is beautiful in its own right with the beautiful Chihuly glass artworks hanging in there. The center also sell many artsy objects.
Very helpful staff. We watched two videos, shopped the gift shop and toured the Miller House!
Beautiful items for sale in the shop. Unusual gifts you cant get anywhere else. I felt ignored, we were not welcomed on arrival and we had to initiate conversation. I would have liked to see more items for sale from Columbus. They had blown glass from another state. I would have liked to see some more local items since Columbus has their own glass blowing studio
My overall experience of Columbus was made complete by the staff at the Columbus Visitors Center. They were very friendly and helpful, the tours were organized, and the gift shop had a wide variety of interesting and beautiful items to purchase. I had an excellent trip and look forward to visiting again in the near future.
Lovely place staffed by lovely people in a lovely town.
Great place to walk around and friendly face! I’ll definitely be back!
Clean, interesting, friendly
Excellent gift shop. Good selection of area brochures.
We took all 3 tours offered and each showcased different important architectural gems and took you inside different buildings all over town. I would recommend the Miller house tour above the others since you can see the rest of the significant buildings on your own but the bus and walking tours were nice to learn about all the details behind the structures. The visitors center itself is great, with a nice gift shop, bathrooms, and AIR CONDITIONING!
Currently closed to the. public- curbside pickup only!, being evaluated on a day to day basis, so call first before going!!!
You like this place...very nice.
We make it a point to visit Columbus once other twice a year. The attention to artful architecture and the resulting beauty makes for a pleasant, relaxing experience. We discover something new and interesting every trip. The staff at the visitor center are knowledgeable and welcoming. There are many unique items for sale there that make great gifts. Columbus is worth the trip even if you only have a few hours.
This was a neat place in a pretty architecturally significant town with an awesome pirate ship play area just around the corner. They had a good assortment of souvenirs in a range of prices. Good map. The movie room was very nice and the art is a must-see. Their architectural tour was very interesting and well worth the money.
What a great place! The people were friendly and very helpful. We took the architecture tour, and the tour guide was great! Nice gift shop full of fun and interesting items. Highly recommended.
Erin seemed happy with her job which gets visitors fired up about the cities possibilities. The gift shop is beautiful and inspiring. The center is clean and loaded with interesting artistry.Im interested in returning for a walking architectural tour.
The Architecture Tour is a great way to learn about all the architecturally famous buildings around Columbus.
Coming to visit Columbus for the first time was a great experience! The visitors center had great staff and helped us get started on our self guided tour. They even had a great video to watch before the tour. Even their gift shop was full of wonderfully cute things from around the Columbus area. I had mo idea there were so many things to see and do around town. They gave us a detailed map and clear instructions on where to find each site. And they even have a great place to park you car while you walk around town and parking is free. If you want to really see all Columbas has to offer this has to be your starting point. The staff there will make sure you get the best experience possible!
Great guided tour of the Miller House. Pricing seemed to be what we would expect for a tour of this type. Decent selection of reasonably priced souvenirs. Just as many visitor centers such as this, youll find locally made goods and typical tchotchkes. Knowledgeable staff that can tell more stories than you care to sit through of the area.
Closed but theyre benches are nice.
Very friendly, patient and helpful staff.
A very friendly and welcoming space. Theres a really cool gift shop & the tours they do of the city are super fun and informative.
