TERRIBLE experience. I would not recommend anyone to go here ever again! I biught a mobile hone in Septemeber of 2020. I have complained about things they need to fix that IS UNDER WARRANTY since October or 2020. Not a single tine have they sent anyone out to fix their mess. Currently, I have faulty light switches in the bathrooms (some kind of wiring issue), my trimming is falling off in nearly everyroom, my kitchen cabinets are sagging ALREADY, the house is EXTREMELY unlevel, so bad that the border joining the ceiling at the marriage wall is falling in, etc. I could go on and on. But this is unreal. Not once have they sent someone to even come out to look. If it takes work on their part, count them out. They will wait on my warranty to run out then blame me and say sorry. But thats not gonna work for me.Not to mention, i referred a family member to them and the same things have happened. From the day their mobile home was set on his lot to the day he moved in was OVER SIX WEEKS.All was bc he couldnt get them to come out and finish the job they started..This place is a JOKE. DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!!!!

Our experience with columbus home center was horrendous... We received the absolute worse service I would have ever imagined. We were lied to. And then threatened to not have the work finished on our house by the home center unless I removed the bad review I made about them. I ended up removing my review so that the work would get completed on my house. I was really disappointed in how we were treated. I hear you guys are under new management and that is EXACTLY what needed to happen. I really hope that is true.Matt West was very unprofessional and shouldn’t be allowed to be in that business.*A piece of the email I received about removing my review*“As Mrs Jen said any issues that you have need to be reported to Lexington directly. Columbus Home center.Every time we contacted them about an issue. They treated us like we were bothersome and an inconvenience. We are not hard people to please. We just wanted and expected them to do what they said they were going to do. Every time what they said would happen didn’t, of course we got antsy. Our experience was a nightmare.We really felt at the time that columbus home center cared more about making the sale then anything else. They were nice and seemed very caring until we were locked into the sale and couldn’t back out... I really hope things have changed. And somebody else is responsible for your business. Matt was not the right fit.

One of the sales reps lied to me and told me they could check my credit score without a hard pull to my credit report for a pre qualification. Well, like I said, he lied because minutes later, I received an alert from Equifax about it.When I called him back to find out why he lied, he pretended to be someone else and transferred me to the General Manager who didnt care. Just be careful. It doesnt take all of that just to sell a mobile home.

Extremely please with this staff! They called to make sure & assured me things were on track. The set up crew worked until 10:00 P.M. and was back at it THE NEXT DAY! I absolutely love my HOUSE! I highly recommend Columbus Home Center, they went over & beyond to help me.

My husband and I (the McDowells) started our conversation by phone and literally completed our full transaction by phone, email and text. We’d been doing the majority of looking through independent manufactured home websites via virtual tour or images of homes. When we finally visited Columbus Home Ctr., the face to face interaction was just as quaint. We are from the north so we were welcomed with southern hospitality from Charles-President/Owner, Drew Barry, Matt, Manquel, Ben and receptionist Jennifer’s top-notch SERVICE!!! We love everything about our new home and our transition to Starkville MS! You won’t be disappointed at Columbus Home Center!!!!!
