What a wonderful experience from start to finish! We felt welcome from the moment we walked in. Both Billy & Janet were very friendly & courteous. Billy answered all of our questions and gave us a wonderful tour of their extensive collection and we never felt pressured at any point. Near the end of our visit we also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Craig, who was extremely pleasant and helpful. We absolutely love our new patio furniture! It looks beautiful and its super comfy! Thank you to the Outdoor Living team for all of your help. We will definitely be repeat customers for our future patio needs!

Although this place is quite a distance from where I live, it was worth the trip here. They have really nice displays of both outdoor furniture and living spaces. It appears that they may also create outdoor living spaces based on the things I saw there, but I didnt ask. I will when we are ready to extend what we have now. This place offers a lot of options for setting up your patio, deck or yard. There is at least one product line that they have only a little of on display, because they cant keep it in stock. It is popular so they sell it out of the manufacturers catalog. This was the case for us. Prices are good, at least based on the online research we did. My only complaint is the gal my wife spoke with on the phone told her that they have samples of what we wanted on display and this was not correct. But the guy who took care of us was very helpful and worked with us so we could get what we came for. What made this particularly customer oriented was we were there right before closing and we were not rushed. In fact, great care was taken to be sure that our wants and needs were handled.

First time customer today... I love this place. I now have so many ideas for my yard. They really make picking up rocks, mulch, etc. very easy. Kevin that worked out in the yard was extremely helpful! He helped me sift through pallets of stepping stone to find the exact ones I was looking for - and in the rain. I had my 4 year old son with me and everyone was very nice and careful around him. I absolutely recommend Mr. Mulch in Worthington. Pricing was pretty good too.

We had a great experience working with Craig and his company. He was very responsive and timely during the entire process, from the original email, to coming out in person for a free estimate, all the way through delivery and application of the material. We had them install River Cobble around our patio and wow does it look great! The team was very professional and cleaned everything up the day of installation. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience when I stepped into the office of Outdoor Living by Mr. Mulch! The cabin was a beautiful setting to plan a project, surrounded by several different ideas for outdoor spaces, and the staff was bright and friendly. They gave me just enough space to look around without pressure, while still being available to answer any questions. They had great, affordable prices, and their selection of hearths and fireplaces was one of the best Ive seen in Central Ohio! I will definitely be visiting again.

I had contacted Mr. Stacey @ Mulch in the morning of my day off of vacation to check if they had 2 cords of firewood available for delivery. Stacey indicated they did not have that quantity available. However she noted they were scheduled to receive a load from their supplier that day and would call me upon its delivery but the driver may have had his schedule filled by then. Early afternoon Stacey courteously phoned me to informing me theyve received more wood. The driver had his daily schedule filled by that time and knowing 2 cords of wood is quite the pile when dumped off she pulled a string or two allowing the delivery to occur so I could indicate to the driver the exact spot for the small mountain of wood. Great service by her!! The firewood was split and cut according to what they indicated. It was a real joy to see that I did not have to use my log splitter to reduce the diameter or a chain saw to cut the down the length. Mr. Mulch seems to have gained a loyal firewood customer. :-)

I recently had an Outdoor Kitchen installed. I purchased everything from them that we needed including the kitchen sink! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. Design, build & installation... they do it all & do it all well. We had zero problems & are going back to purchase some additional outdoor furniture this spring.This place has everything you need for outside fun.

Ive been shopping at Outdoor Living by Mr. Mulch since I bought my first home back in 2002. Since then Ive installed a paver patio, a small pond, some low voltage lighting, yards of topsoil, and 12 years worth of bagged and bulk mulch and other misc. items. The staff at Mr. Mulch has always been helpful and willing to assist me with various questions Ive had about projects Im working on as well as the right items to finish it off. I especially like all the displays they have which was very helpful in making the selections that were right for my home. Im a big believer in that you get what you pay for and Ive always felt the quality of their products is top notch at the lowest possible price. Super Convenient experience. It was the weekend and I have things to do! Waiting for service and talking to inexperienced people is not an option. I went to Mr. Mulchs back building and materials lot. The air-conditioned service counter was clean and busy. But I got help right away. I picked out my mulch, paid and was fully loaded and on my way in less than 5 minutes. When I told my wife how much it cost she was like, You should have bought 5 more bags! BTW I made it to a graduation party that night right on time.

Every year our travel baseball team has a fund raiser to raise money for our expenses throughout the season. Over the past 3 years we have partnered with Craig and Mr. Mulch for a couple of reasons. I inquired about pricing on bulk mulch and soil here and found their pricing and delivery to be absurd. They also would not disclose to me who their supplier/source was as I wanted to avoid purchasing a product that contained viable weed seed. I chose to go with Ohio Mulch instead because their price was much lower and they produce their own product in-house. Just check how they handled my review below responding with a claim that I am spam = Poor customer service as well!

I ordered a Big Green Egg through Zach and he made the experience really fun and easy. We got the Egg and several accessories that have been really useful and we had it assembled and delivered with no fuss. Ill definitely be buying from Outdoor Living again!

We bought 4 patio chairs and a table from Outdoor Living by Mr. Mulch. The set was crafted by Berlin Furniture and seems like it will last forever. The best part is that its heavy and it looks gorgeous. I am also pleased that it was made in Ohio by Ohio artisans.

I recently went to the location on 161 and purchased 40 bags of pond and river pebbles. Justin Faulkner loaded half of the first load into my SUV, then the full load when I returned. He was careful about putting the bags on the tarp in the back and spreading them out to evenly distribute weight. I really liked the entire experience at Mr. Mulch, and will certainly be returning.

Zach helped me pick out and buy some mulch this week. It was so much better than the stuff I bought at Ohio Mulch last year. With the recent news about Ohio Mulch, Im not even sure that I got what I paid for. What I got from Mr. Mulch is dyed and actually held its color. Ill definitely be buying from Zach and Mr. mulch again next year.

Was very impressed with Robert Coriells customer service and his quick response to get us a proposal for some different products we are looking to purchase for our community garden. He knew exactly what items we were looking for and even gave us different options to see what would work best for our project.

We just had a really cool koi pond installed! They used local Ohio stone to build it, it looks very natural. Within the first few weeks, we already have four frogs. Their people were very professional and installed it just as planned, I would highly recommend this company!

Outdoor Living by Mr. Mulch does a great job with their water features. They just built an incredible basalt stone and Mexican Beach Pebble water feature at Kinsale Golf. They developed a beautiful focal point for us that everyone seems to love.

We ordered a stone base for hot tub. We had to order 2 extra pieces to get a minimum order. Paid $1600. Order came 2 weeks later than were told so we had to install it in the snow. 3 pieces of the base came in the wrong color. We couldnt wait another month for the replacement so we just installed it in the middle. They even didnt check it before delivery, no apologies ever

Outstanding customer service from Jeffrey Ortman at Mr Mulch! He went above and beyond to assist in selection, order and delivery of the Big Green Egg just in time for Christmas! Aaron made the delivery on Christmas eve and even offered to be available on Christmas day to help with the set up! I would highly recommend Mr Mulch and will be a return customer!

I purchased all of the materials for my paver patio with surrounding wall and stone pillar (which they designed for me). I even rented a soil compactor from Mr. Mulch for the patio base. The patio and outdoor kitchen displays are unrivaled in Central Ohio (hope to build one of their outdoor stone fireplaces next year). I used to had Mr. Mulch coming over my folks home NUMBERS of times When I used to live in Brookside West and at the time they was not in there current address at all! They used to be next door to the East Grandviller Rd or better calling it 161 next door to the Rail Road and was it a true BARE to get in and out of that location! Plus a TINY parking lot! Thank God they moved to a larger area and tons of Parking!Mr. Mulch did major changes in which I am VERY please with! Sadly my mom sold the house moved to FL and I moved to Marin CA (North of SF CA NOT OHIO) and later moved to Broward FL (North of Miami FL).Mr. Mulch is WORTH going too!!! I bought my Big Green Egg smoker/grill from Outdoor Living by Mr. Mulch seven years ago. They have taken great care of me providing lump charcoal and accessories, and offering demonstrations and tips. Last week they were particularly helpful. I needed the new, larger handle for my BGE, and was having difficulty finding it online or anywhere else as they were new and only being used on newly purchased BGEs. Beautiful place with great selections of outdoor furniture, grills and fireplaces

Just had two projects completed by Outdoor Living here in New Albany at our new house. We had a paver patio, gas fire pit and sitting wall constructed in project #1....,and, Project #2 was because the paver work was so well executed we asked that they correct the shoddy workmanship of MI Homes contractors on the existing paver walkway as it was sinking, falling out of alignment and in general becoming a eye sore....especially compared to the quality work of the paver job the OL crew did connecting it to the original pavers.The entire project was a pleasure from beginning to end. The design folks at OL gave us a plan that matched what we had envisioned. It was creative, functional and it looked great. Next, Robert did a great job as a project coordinator. He kept us informed every step of the way and when he said something was going to occur....it did. Only weather (out of their control) caused any disruption in the work plan as outlined...which is to be expected on exterior projects such as this one.The final piece was the quality work by Paco and Rafael and their crew who worked on our project. I have had over $200 million in construction work I have managed in my career, rarely have I ever worked with such meticulous and skilled craftsmen. Every piece of the retaining wall was cut and placed perfectly as was the fire pit and several pieces of the rounded pavers that were needed to give the project a curved flow. It was impressive to see highly skilled and picky contractors take the time to do an outstanding job. Not because someone was standing over their back, but because they are just that picky and take pride in their work. It was clear from the time and effort they took to lay the project out until their final paver was laid these men are perfectionists.I not only wouldnt hesitate to hire this exact crew again to do any paver or wall project I was embarking upon but I would NOT hire anyone else. This project exceeded my expectations which is almost impossible to do. And while the project was fairly priced from the beginning I hate to say I would have paid more for such craftsmen had I known OL was sending folks whose ancestors were clearly the Mayan builders who constructed Tulum, Coba, and Chichen Itza. They have such a knack for this work and I now have such a piece of art in my backyard now.As far as the men fixing my MI Homes shoddy original sidewalk paver work....that was childs play for them but folks should know they pointed out that MI used improper base material (regular masonry sand) which enabled the pavers to sink and fall out of alignment after only 8 years (age of the house). Many of our neighbors paver walks are suffering from the same corner cutting tactics of MI Homes. Shame on MI Homes. For a few dollars more the job could have been done right, but they choose to not care.I highly recommend OL and if you get Robert as a project manager and Pacos crew as your craftsmen you are truly a fortunate person. Needless to say I would highly recommend them for any project.
