Everyone here is so nice! It was a quick and painless experience for me. I was shipping a package to Japan. My relative in Japan paid for the shipping online ahead of time. I showed up to drop off the package. I came with my reference number and invoice printed out. They told me all I had to do was to write the reference number on the box, and that was it!

If possible, I’d give no stars. I am a driver for a company where I occasionally stop by here to drop off packages but I spend more than an hour waiting for someone to either unload, or simply just notice my existence. Never felt so disrespected and ignored as much as I do when I come here. Unfortunately I do stop by here every once in a while and it is the same experience every time I come. Wish I would be able to give their employees a mouth full but definitely won’t be worth the time. Overall unprofessional and unorganized.

I worked with Mieko for shipping out 10 boxes to Osaka. She went way over and above to make the whole process so simple. I’m beyond grateful, when I first started out, I had a lot of questions and she was so kind to answer them all in great detail. When I arrived a 2 out of the 10 boxes were over weight, she helped shift items to other boxes to get them underweight. I would so very highly recommend this company, the price for shipping is unbeatable, the customer service is exceptional, and everyone there was so extremely kind and friendly. 😃🙏👍

I dont recommend this company for transportation. Their customer service was terrible. I called them 3 days ago and they confirmed my schedule was perfectly suited and I could make a booking if I call them this week (of course during business hours). Then, I tried to make a booking today, but they couldnt make a deal. They said that the date of pick up is only possible from the following week. They also said that they were not sure when they can carry boxes and dupplies to my home, so they will figure it out 3 days later.One more thing I want you to know is that they cant make an estimate online, email, nor phone call even if you know the rough weight and dimensions of your items. They suggest 2 plans with costs, but prices of other plans are not listed. You can send a email or call them for estimate, but they never answer your question. They just says the estimate is only possible after company staff come and check by themselves. This is absolutely ridiculos. I contacted to several other companies and no companies is like that.Overall, you should be patient and expect terrible customer services. If you wanna use this company to move to Japan, the cost seems considerable because they are Japanese company. Thats the only good thing I think, but if you move other countries or within your country, I definitely recommend to use other companies to get great and fast services

YAMATO TRANSPORT CO is an excellent choice for international moving your personal & business items. I have used them on 3 different occasions from the US to Japan and from Japan to the US. They are absolutely reliable and their staff on both ends is knowledgeable and courteous. My cartons arrive on time and in perfect condition every time. I wish their international marketing was stronger so more people would hear about them and consider their 1st-class treatment. I am in no way connected to YAMATO but I advise anyone considering an international move to call YAMATO first.

I just asked them about their services on the phone but was surprised by their unprofessional and rude attitude. Just avoid.

Be careful with 15% Duty Fee!!! You dont get any refund from Yamato even custom did not charge to you.
