This has instantaneously become my new favorite grocery store in town! I am IN LOVE with the fact that it is black owned in one of the blackest neighborhoods known to South Central LA. Its beautiful to see my people doing big things.The bargains are definetly to die for and the this outlet offers a variety of organic food vendors for an affordable cost. I walked down the isles just to get a glimpse of the basics and Im happy to report that the deals are very sound and proficient towards aiding those on a budget. You can still get healthy food, eat healthy home cooked meals for an affordable cost.If you couldnt tell already.. the Wine section is my new favorite area to peruse, and look at those beautiful low prices!!They definetly made a loyal customer out of me.

Very disappointed with the Customer Service last night on 12/26/20 at the store on Rosecrans and Central when I walked into the store and three employees looking at me like why are you here! The store closes at 9pm but the open light sign is off at 8:30 or before so when I walked in they immediately got over the intercom and stated we will closing in 25min. Bring all items to checkout, they already had all baskets chained together so what ever you get you must carry it, no carry baskets inside the store either. I bought a gallon of milk a couple packs of bacon and a bag of ice plus perhaps two more items. I have had surgery on both hands and carrying these heavy items did not help. The young man at the checkout was great but the two standing in front of the checkout need to do better! Remember people money will spend anywhere so practice your customer service skills!

I enjoyed shopping in this Black-owned grocery store. They had a nice variety of things and everyone was quite friendly, even the other shoppers. Not giving it 5 stars because they were not sanitizing the shopping carts.

During my many roadtrips, I noticed many of these stores in various, diverse communities. Especially happy and thankful there is a Grocery Outlet WOW Store in Compton. It provides the only place to purchase accessible, quality, and ample wholesome foods. Especially appreciate the availability of vegan/vegetarian products. They also supply great skincare products. Store is Compton is owned by a young black female entrepreneur who had many location options, but made a conscious decision to serve our underrepresented community. A prayer answered...

The Grocery Outlet is more than a grocery store or outlet. It has become a staple in our community. I have chosen to make this a go to place for all my grocery and now my adult children are shopping there too. I like having a choice of free range chicken and non gmo beef products, organic fruit and vegetables. I found soups and pastas that now I cant live without. Being a senior on a budget and my doctors advice is to eat healthier meals; full of dark leafy greens, more vegetables and fruits, you know all the good stuff, because FOOD REALLY DOES MATTER, right! So where to go and how much will it cost, to buy healthier foods? Start at the Grocery Outlet, because the Grocery Outlet carries a variety of healthy choice foods, and the cost was well within my budget. Compared to local grocery stores prices for the same choices, does not exist, because most local grocery stores dont carry these products. Or if they do carry them, the selection is limited (they have more shelf space for soda and sweet snacks, then what is truly healthy). Here is the challenge, to eating healthier, dont delay or make excuses, just visit the Grocery Outlet, read your labels and be amazed. Im happy with my discoveries and my choices. The Compton Grocery Outlet is Awesome! Its a Very good feeling to be greeted by almost every staff member in the store! Its wonderful to support a business that prides itself on being a member of the community its in, and not just a business. The owner and her staff are all hard workers. Very clean store and very good selection is of things. IsIf you use organic and natural products like I do, you might be surprised to find really good prices on some of your favorite foods, toiletries or supplements.

FAVORITE STORE! Amazing prices just watch out for expiration dates. Some great organic, gluten free, vegan options. Produce not always the best but toiletries, cleaning supplies, meats, and snacks are always a great selection. The staff is great and parking is fine. Highly Recommend this grocery store to start your shopping and then stop by somewhere else for anything else.

I just visited this store and was mistreated by one of the managers, he said his name was Jesse. This man not only had an attitude problem, he also lacked management and customer service skills.I can honestly say that I have never been treated that way by anyone. Needless to say, I will not be back and will make sure that I send this to his general manager and corporate office. If I could give them a negative star, I would.Other than this incident, I have been to this store several times as it’s close to my job, it’s on the smaller side- which I usually like and the items are reasonably priced and usuastocked but their selection is a tad bit limited- due to their size. This was an alternate store for me but I will find a different one.

I love the savings. I love the variety of products. I love the people! I see and to the owner almost every time Im in the store. The people make you feel like Family. I havent had one negative experience and I visit the store at least 2 times a week. Plus! Its black own! It couldnt get better!

Great neighborhood market, its not overly crowded and the workers and cashiers are very helpful with a good attitude. The prices are actually very good as every item tends to be lower than at the nearby Food 4 Less or Vons. They have most of the items you would look for at the other grocery stores. A very good market!

Wow! So clean... awesome customer service! The gal helped me when my hands were full. Been looking all over for a rolling cart... this same cart was $30 at target and $50 everywhere else... it was $15 here! Yippee all around.

Its a very good place! They have a wide variety of things for such a cheap price! The staff is always friendly and greets me! They also help with loading things into peoples cars which not many stores do. The best store ever this will be my main store.

I first saw and heard about this store in Fresno,CA while on a business trip. It was next to our hotel. Since we were there for a week, we decided to stock up. Prices were great and had a good selection. I did do my own research to make sure the our price vs their price was in fact true. They were. I was so happy to find one here in Compton. Its def much closer to me and the prices are still great! Good place to shop!! Great service.

I always find deals here on high quality food. I always end up buying more than I thought I would but the savings are so great that i dont feel at all bad about it 😀.Lines are super fast now, we were lagging on pushing our cart forward and an employee was about to open another register for us 😬, despite us only needing to really start loading the empty conveyor belt😬.Friendly employees, one cashier explained the current raffle to us, excellent customer service! Employees are focused on their job and on task.

I want to applaud the owners for going toe to toe with Food for Less across the street however; the produce and meat section need work. Maybe because I came on a Thursday evening it was not up to my expectations.The staff was great though and that is a plus. The prices were not cheaper but once again I came at the end of the week. I hope as time goes on the store will get its rhythm because it has potential and for that I gave 5 stars.
