I miss their old store but this one is just smaller. The employer was very friendly and helpful.

She was so helpful when I wanted to order curtains for my kitchen but I didnt know how to correctly measure(first time ordering curtains lol) but she wasnt rude about my many questions, I will be stopping by again.Thank you for your patience and help!!!

Nice place to visit for primitive furniture and decor.Prices were reasonable & staff pleasant.Per our friend, not as stuffed with items due to Covid-19 .Mask & gloves are optional.

If it’s in stock, you’ll be happy. If you order something, be prepared for it to take 2-3 times longer than expected. We ordered chairs and were told 10-12 weeks. It took 24 weeks with no call or update. We ordered pads for a chair and were told 6 weeks. It’s been 15 weeks with no update and an insincere, “sorry,” when we call asking for updates. I thought I’d be happy supporting a local business, but the customer service ruins it.

Their inventory is often updated and abundant, if they dont have the color or wood that you want, they will get it for you (ask to see their catalogs). Weve purchased over 14 pieces of furniture and NEVER been disappointed. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The new location is easy to access right off I-93, with plenty of parking. Best furniture store in central NH!

I have furnished my home with their furniture. I’ve never shopped at a place that are so accommodating. Tim and Erica are more like friends than store owners. I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for furniture with the personal touch of years ago.

This place has always been a wonderful place to shop. The staff is helpful, and I have not been disappointed in any of my purchases. We have purchased large furniture pieces, window coverings, to lamp shades. There are times they have not had what I am looking for in the store, but offer to find it from their vendors.

I had always been interested in this store so one day I decided to drop in. My main decorating style is farmhouse/rustic, and I have the money to be quite generous with my purchases, therefore this establishment could have greatly benefited from me.When I entered the store, the woman behind the counter looked at me but then ignored me. She did not greet me, acknowledge my presence, nor offer to help me. She was not busy with other customers, I was the only one in the store. I should mention that I was shopping with my children, who were very well behaved the whole time. And I am being completely objective with that statement.I continued to look through the store, while still being ignored. After a while, another customer entered and was immediately assisted. The sales woman was very friendly to them, as she should be to anyone who enters the store.I made my way upstairs and was browsing through the furniture selection when another employee, a man, came upstairs as well. He was very friendly and helpful in answering any questions I had. However, he was very chatty and began talking about his personal life including his many surgeries. This started to make me feel very uncomfortable.A retail store should be a place of professionalism and this store was anything but that. I felt judged and manipulated after visiting. I will not be going to Amish Homestead again and will advise my friends to do the same. I would like the owners to know that they have lost at least one customer whom they could have greatly benefited from.

Weve bought three pieces so far--two night tables and a cabinet with drawers. We also bought some spaghetti sauce that was good. Oh, yeah, we also bought a stack of electrical outlet covers in rustic colors. Those were made in Pennsylvania. Last time I looked, that was in the USA. Ive only seen a few things there made in India--table cloths & curtains.The prices were very reasonable and the inventory is always changing. We go just to wander around.
