Its been awhile since Ive been to Cracker Barrel, so this was a nice treat. It was a the tail end of an unexpected rush when I arrived at 10:30 am on a Friday morning, and while the staff still seemed to be generally on top of things, there were some noticeable cracks that only slightly diminished my dining experience, forcing me to give 4 stars and not 5. Im sorry yall.While I didnt really notice it taking longer than usual for my table, just my dad and I, to get my food, when we did get it it was cold. Like the food was warm enough to eat if you had been fasting all day, which we had been, so we ate it. But the hash brown casserole had hard dried out bits to it, not yummy crunchy over cooked cheese, but left out dried out pieces of potato and cheese.The pancakes were amazing but would have been better if the butter was able to melt on them, but still the best pancakes Ive had in a while.The staff was amazing and genuinely doing their best. Our waitress especially deserves all the awards for how amazing she was. Always had us topped up on our coffee and really respected the quiet of our table while still checking up on us. I just wish my father tipped you more, I only found out about his tip on the way home. 🤦🏼‍♀️I am so sorry.

One of my sons & my favorite restaurants to eat at. This was our first visit to this location and it did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and helpful and seated us rather quickly even though it was busy and seemed like it would be a long wait. The food was excellent and definitely hit the spot. Fun things can always be found in the Country Store as well. We always look forward to eating at a Cracker Barrel!!

Mother and I came to eat. They had clothes and different items. I bought 4 of the most beautiful summer dresses. Then we ate lunch. The services was impeccable. Thank you

This would have been my 2nd time going to a Crocker Barrel. The 1st time was in Louisiana about 5 years ago and I didnt like the food choices. So, I gave it another try. I didnt see waffles. Am I blind and was I over looking? Or do they really not serve waffles?Ended up settling for pancakes 🥞 instead

Some friends and I had dinner here the other night and while they were very apologetic, due to being under-staffed, both the food and the service was great! Our waitress came by a few times asking for refills or if we needed anything. She was very prompt with the receipt. They even handled an upset customer with skill and grace in the gift shop section. Will happily dine here again.

Went for lunch one afternoon, around 1pm. Was told we would have to wait 45 minutes. When we were seated, we noticed some people get up and leave without eating. Not a good sign. We were short silverware and some of the cream for my coffee was already open. Took roughly 30 minutes for good to arrive and it was a disappointment. Okra was so soggy. Hardly any French Fries. Nothing seemed cooked all the way. Had to get up and get our own condiments from other tables. Refills took a while and we were missing a couple things from meals. I dont know if it was just a bad day or what but this visit was an extreme let down. Will probably not come back unless service and food quality improves.

Food and services are great. Prices are reasonable. Place is clean. Very close to where we live.

To be as busy as this location always is, service is fairly fast.Theyre 5.99 breakfast specials are just the right amount and taste great.My one major complaint was with my server: Im almost 70 with a full beard and long gray hair; when I ordered the sangria, my server insisted on seeing my identification--at my age this is NOT a compliment, but an insult to my appearance and experience. As often as Ive eaten here, with different wait staff, including management, this was the first time this happened.

Great option to have a great American breakfast in the Houston area. Also the store is very fun.

Food was decent and service was nice, very crowded. We came early on a Sunday morning to try to avoid the crowd, but even still had a 40 minute wait. When we ordered our food, they were already out of some of the specials for the day. And though the servicer was nice and accommodating there was long periods of time between visits to out table.

The food was good, waitresses attention to detail was ok, could be a little better, not saying names. But if a drink is quarter filled double check with the customer for a refill. Other than that the food was amazing came in hungry, left filled up. Would definitely visit again.

The best cracker barrel we ever experienced. We use too live in Boise Idaho, the servings there were pretty sad. Good was over cooked and dried out. Now we experienced the kind of Cracker Barrel we remembered from years ago. Waitress awesome so attentive so friendly. Best place to go!!!

A solid Cracker Barrel Location.Most people know what to expect from a Cracker Barrel: Good biscuits, good fried chicken, and sweet tea. Well, this location does not disappoint. They have been consistent for awhile.Today, I got something new (to me). It was the maple bacon chicken. This was an interesting menu item that was decent, but I dont think I would order again because of personal tastes. The chicken was baked, covered in shredded cheese, a piece of bacon on top, and a drizzle of maple. I dont think the flavor combinations where the best; however, the chicken wasnt overcooked!Fiancé got the catfish. She said it was good for catfish (not too bottom-feederish). The breading on it was nice and crisp. The corn side was not over-salted, so it was good!Her parents got the fried chicken Brest. This is exactly what everyone expects from a Cracker Barrel, so that was perfect.Wait times were not too long to get a table for the dinner rush on a Sunday evening. I think we only ended up waiting a total of 15 minutes. Another positive is the COVID craziness wasnt happening here anymore. No weird plexiglass dividers. Silverware, salt, pepper, and everything was on the table. This restaurant did not use COVID as an excuse to short-change customers.

I always enjoy eating at cracker barrel, its such a homey place for delicious southern comfort food. I am sad that they no longer have the yogurt parfait on the menu, because that was my favorite. But always happy to have a plate of pancakes 🥞.

We were there today at 11:00. Worst it’s ever been. I ordered chicken and dumplings and literally had a plate FULL of the broth or whatever you would like to call it. So I paid $10 for broth and sides. 3 small chicken chunks (half the size of a nugget) and 2 1/2 dumplings. Didn’t get biscuits until our food arrived and they were cold. Nothing had a flavor, we had to season everything. It’s normally good but whoever is cooking and making plates needs to be trained correctly. Others with me were very disappointed in there food as well but I won’t speak for them… That is $40 bucks I’ll never get back…. Yes I could have said something but I’m not into causing a scene.Do better….Oh I forgot to mention it was 15 minutes before our waitress even acknowledged we were there and another 15 minutes before we got drinks. People coming in after us and being waited on all around us. SMH….

Food was incredible. and the service was second to none. everyone is so attentive and the store in front never fails to amaze me,they have some of the most beautiful Christmas items Ive seen anywhere.

If you want to wait for hours after you go to the website and place yourself on the wait list at 1829 and it tells you your wait will be 10 mins and your seated 1 hour later. Your order is taken and you are waiting for an additional 45 mins for your drinks. Then you have to wait an additional 15 mins which turns out to be 2 hours waiting for your food. Be my guest and go and eat at the Cracker Barrel in Conroe. Don’t come in if your expecting good service. Their score does not reflect correctly at 4 stars that they have posted on Google. Why have dinner when your dinner becomes breakfast the following day. Just a reminder that this place will steal 2-3 hours of your life that you will never get back!

Dinner for 4 to go was superb. Food was fresh and very favorable. We were not able to dine in due to limited time on our side so ordering online was simple. Food was ready as promised when we arrived for curbside pickup. Worth a trip to go back to eat and shop upfront.

Good menu, breakfast served anytime which is awesome but deciding is always hard and you get to shop before and after you eat! Cant beat that

I am so thankful to have a Cracker Barrel near us. I am never disappointed with anything I order. Their biscuits are always warm, moist and delicious. We love comfort food, especially when someone else is cooking it and they do it well. All of the servers are so nice and try really hard to provide great service. Its always nice to get together with our family for a meal here and catch up with each other. We never mind waiting for our table and never feel rushed to eat and leave. Thanks for the great service.

Good was good. The server was flustered, new and over sat. I ghost my food before my drinks. The management should do a better job of training and helping new servers.

Excellent & pleasant service from Kara. Ordered the Southwest Scramble. It was good but, the cheese was disgusting. It looked like a huge blob of sliced cheese. I love cheese but this was way too much. I dismantled the dish to remove the cheese. Would have been much more appealing to use shredded cheese and not as much as was on the dish. Otherwise a great experience!

Had great service and the food is always good. Always go here when I’m craving biscuits with Dickinson’s Blackberry preserves.

Good food as always and one of our kids favorite places for breakfast. Service on this occasion was the best we have had and plan on visiting again.

My husband and I enjoyed ourselves and had lunch there. He had the meatloaf special and had the chicken fried steak, we both had mashed. Potatoes and collard greens. Although the portions were small, it was very tasty and filling. My husband even got toast and mayo to make a meatloaf sandwich, which is his favorite. The server was great. We had a good time. We would recommend the Cracker Barrel to everyone. Especially the neat little shop they have when you come in and pay your bill. Excellent!

The service here is always excellent! The food quality has stated to decline, which is disappointing. You shouldnt need a knife to cut your trout. The chicken fried chicken is still very good as well as the chicken fried steak. The mashed potatoes with cream gravy, also good.The other side of the Cracker Barrel experience is the country store. They rotate offerings fairly often so browsing through the store is pretty fun, (even for a guy that isnt much into shopping!) Little knick knack surprises await!

Food was great when we finally got it. Barrel has really slacked on how they used to do things. It used to be on their toes but had to ask quite often for items from other poetricists because my waiter didnt seem to be around. Overall the food is great we had a good time sorry I didnt get a picture had the chicken fried chicken

We recently stopped in for breakfast on a weekday morning. We were very surprised that most of the waitstaff was not wearing a mask. Although there is no mandate in place regarding wearing masks, I believe that its the responsible thing to do - especially in an industry which has direct and close contact with customers. Cracker Barrel should do the right thing and require staff to wear a mask. For this reason, and because the food quality has gone downhill lately, that was my final visit to any Cracker Barrel.

We typically stop at a Cracker Barrel when traveling. It has been a while since we have traveled, so we stopped in at the local CB. The fried chicken was oh so good ... we missed going to CB, so it was really nice to stop in again. We left with smiles on our faces.

Just left Cracker Barrel. Waited 15 minutes to be seated at a table. Someone eventually was directed to our table but after being seated for 30 minutes we still didn’t have drinks…which was just water. A couple two seats away from us was seated after us and received their meals before anyone even came to take our order. Got up and left after sitting for 30 minutes. Unsurprisingly our departure went unnoticed. I will say this is not the norm for this restaurant, which is why the rating isn’t one star, but overall this was disappointing considering we drove 20+ minutes to get there.

You can always get a good home cooked meal here... Though this place is always busy so be prepared to wait: a long time. Is it really worth it??? Also, if you order ahead for a to go order, then order way ahead: like an hour and it just might be ready. Good food though, otherwise. And, a store to do a little shopping at. All in all, not all that bad...

My Wife and I have been dining here from the time that they opened at this location! Its always been a joy and great place to have fun shoping and browsing through the various seasonal gifts and to enjoy their great menus! Most of the time your staff has been Excellent and have gone out of there way to make it a better place to eat out than other restaurants!

The obvious difference in sizes of the food they serve was painful though it was plenty however not cooked well the hash brown casserole was gross the mimosas were good the service was good. Then we shopped in the little store they have which went well though overpriced however upon checkout the cashier was so concerned with trying to upsell and cross sell us that she failed to check out and give us all our items. Overall its a no for me

Server was nice but steak was poorluly done, the meatloaf had weird filaments of food in it and the mashed potatoes were very rubbery. They hardly gave us napkins or any silver and plateware. They forgot multiple things like bacon on a burger and my chicken and dumplings.

Server was great once they realized we were there. Food was bland. Probably healthier, but my body - my choice, and I choose flavor.

I have been here several times which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 3. Your experience will depend entirely on the service you receive, which is based on your server.I came here about 2 weeks ago with family following my sons graduation and we had a good experience.Today we came in again and our experience was okay, not exactly stellar.Karlee was assigned to our table, things went smoothly until our order arrived and it was discovered that the wrong order was placed in, the food was kept and we did not need the correct item but after that Karlee came to the table multiple times for mundane things, like filling the sugar caddy.. (I had water and my husband orange juice so we definitely did not need sugars.) She then brought the ticket and placed it on the table before any of us were even halfway finished with our meals. Ex. I had 3 biscuits and eggs. My eggs were untouched and I ate 1 biscuit when the check arrived. It was very rude and she began to rush us out. Giving people there ticket moments after setting down the wrong food and refilling the caddies for the next guests is not the way to make guest feel welcome.

We went to Cracker Barrel a couple of times recently and were very disappointed both times. Both times the cornbread muffins were hard and dry. Tonight we went to try the chicken pot pie. The crust was ok, even though it wasnt real pie crust, but the filling had a predominant flavor of celery. For dessert we had the peach cobbler that apparently a lot of people order. It wasnt like any peach cobbler I have ever had. It was terrible. The filling tasted sour, but not like peaches. And on top they crumbled what seemed to be some kind of graham cracker. We sent it back and they kindly just charged us for the meager scoop of ice cream that they served with it.

Very disappointed, food was great as usual but the quantity was poor for the money. At least they finally made the pancakes size to match the size of the tiny bottle of syrup! They even downsized the sausage patties that come with the platter. So if you come here, better order two plates to fill you up!

This cracker barrel that I visit on a normal basis is located on League line road between Conroe Texas and Willis Texas off of League Line Rd and interstate 45. This is one of the best places to eat breakfast and lunch that is in the Willis Conroe area. The food is excellent and the service is excellent as well. I have eaten breakfast and lunch on many many occasions and I give this restaurant a top rating. So if youre in the mood for a great breakfast. A great lunch. This is the place for you.

The food was very good. I wish they would offer smaller portions for seniors etc. Our water was somewhat rude. We never got a bill. They had to figure it out at the register.

I haven’t been to a Cracker Barrel in a year or so, I went today and was sorely disappointed. The portions have gotten so much smaller. In order to get the rolls and customary cornbread we had to ask for them. The quality and quantity of food was very disappointing

We have been here for breakfast often and the service is good every single time. The food comes out quickly and is good every time. We also love their store especially the kids since they always seem to pick up Knick knacks every single time we go haha

After purchasing a 70 dollar meal and they Didnt even get everyones orders right...the manager says he will just give me 2 meals free...so we arrive...It took forever for to go orders to be ready and the server never even called anyones names...there were a few names called over the intercom but not ours that just sat there until we walked over and saw our name on the receipt. The food was great but service sucked.

Food never disappoints. It was that we were party of 12 (graduate family breakfast) and we couldnt be seated together, they had split us. Waited 30+ minutes to be seated finally and separately. Will return though.😉

Wow!! I had grilled chicken tenders, they were the best chicken ever had it was juicy and very tasty. Oh my for my sides I chose greens season to perfection, yummy. And of course the hash brown cassrole is always outstanding. It was excellent service as well. Cant wait to stop by there again.

Service was great food was bomb! They just started serving alcohol and got hash brown casserole tater tots which are amazing! Definitely pick yourself up some while they are there. And the dill pickle ranch is great!

Seated quickly our waitress was always checking on us but she forgot what we needed everytime she left the table. salads came out after the food one meal came out wrong we felt that the lady was very new but still tried her best

Had the Tuesday special, Meatloaf. The sides portions were small. The sweet tea was very lightly sweetened. Our server was very nice & attentive. The meatloaf tasted strong with bell pepper, but I liked it. Overall it was ok. But not like I remembered.

The pot roast is really tender and juicy. Thats what I usually get but tried the rainbow trout today. Everything is s great price for quality feel good meals.

We have been dinning here for years. Its been great until they switched the the electronic ordering pads the wait staff have to use now. The last few times its taken over an HR to get our food. We are always told its a glitch they cant seem to figure out.

So the food is okay, and I think they really do try but they are just not the best they could be. They always forget something when you do takeout, very frustrating. But I love the store....

Waiter and staff were good, but food was almost inedible. The steak had the look and taste of the sole of my shoe. The outside was burnt. It was cooked beyond well done when I ordered it medium. The steak was pressed so thin it was almost unrecognizable. I had to guess what kind of meat it was. Some of side dishes were also missing from the order.

Went in for Friday fish. Waited a long time for food. Was very busy. Our wait person was really good.

My Mother and I breakfasted regularly at this Cracker Barrel store on League Line every other Thursday when our cleaning lady was at my house nearby doing her work. She and I enjoyed Keishas glow as she served us. My Mothers personality really made an impression with Keisha. I mentioned my Mothers recent passing to the greeter Wendy, as I was in for breakfast on May 6th (Irene cleaning), because I wanted to write to a little of the eulogy at the restaurant itself.I was overjoyed to see Keisha at my Mothers Memorial Service on May 11th, which was my Mothers 86 Birthday. Keisha is a great lady, an excellent server; and a true treasure at the League Line store.

Its been a long time since any restaurant anywhere has greeted my wife and I with the genuine warmth and friendliness as the staff did here when we walked in and after a 15-minute wait were finally seated.Every person we encountered coming, waiting, and going was friendly, helpful and truly aiming to please, despite how crowded the restaurant and its attached store happened to be on this Sunday at lunchtime. And of course the food was marvelous and properly prepared as expected and well-worth the wait.For devoted fans of the Cracker Barrel food chain, this location on this particular day was the very best in any state I have been. My wife and I will revisit this location again in the future with high expectations.

Cracker Barrel is always great for some southern comfort food. We all enjoyed our entrées. We also tried their new beignets. Not as good as Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans but you cant expect that!

This place never fails. The food is always hot fast and just like your Mom or Grandmas gonna make you. Good size portions and made with love!
