The attendant loading the racks noticed some very minor damage to one of the uprights and, without being asked, swapped it out before loading. I contacted Pallet Rack Surplus to purchase shelving for heavy industrial parts. The sales team was very dedicated to getting me a fairly priced quote of the product I needed. They even offered to send a representative to my location to measure if need be. When I arrived to pick up the product it was already neatly banded on a pallet and was placed carefully on my truck with a forklift. An employee even offered to help me strap it down. I reached out to Pallet Rack with measurements of all the different decking needs we had because of our truly uniquely configured warehouse. We purchased 360 pallet positions from this company’s owner, Dustin. He told us it was in good usable condition, however what he sent us is mangled scrap racking. The uprights are bent and twisted with broken welds, the flow rollers have broken and seized wheels and the rails are bent. After he cashed the check and we voiced our problem with the quality, Dustin went on vacation and will not return our phone calls or emails, this is going on 4 weeks now. It looks like a lawsuit to get this right! If you don’t want this kind of problems, buy your racking somewhere else.
