After 21 years of service with another carrier, my family and I decided to switch to AT&T. We used the store in Cookeville, TN and they were wonderful. Brandon Powell helped us choose a plan, a phone, transferred our information, and had great patience when a few problems arose. The other workers were also very helpful and patient. We definitely give praise to each worker that helped us!!!!
Im not from the area of Cookeville just stopping through on my way to North Carolina and I stopped by the AT&T store in Cookeville for new service and a phone and the sales rep Jawayne handled my questions with ease.. nice asset for this company to have. Will continue to do business with AT&T going into the future after having this experience
I was changing from a customer of Verizon since 1995. Just got tired of the poor service and heard so many positives about AT&T. Jewayne on Interstate Drive took care of me. Such a kind young man and very knowledgeable about his job. I am truly satisfied and love the service I am getting with my new provider.
I came in to discuss why my phone bill had jumped up in price and this young gentleman jawayne handled explaining my bill very well. I came in angry and left happier. Great knowledgeable guy.
We waited less then 10 minutes to be helped! The people at this ATNT location were knowledgeable and helpful! I would rate Jawane a 10/10, the other ATNT associates where also very helpful, and nice!
The reps from interstate drive in Cookeville were very polite and proficient. He was ready to help me as I walked through the door.
My experience at the Cookeville AT&T was not the best because of the manager, Keith West. I explicitly told him multiple times what plan I wanted and he completely disregarded what I said, and he also added insurance to my plan when he had been told plainly not to. The rest of my experiences with AT&T have been great, except for with Keith West. Horrible customer service experience with him and after reading other’s reviews, I see that I am not the only one that’s had issues when dealing with him.

I purchase a new IPhone 12 and had a great experience here at the Cookeville, TN store.Jawayne was the Retail Sales Consultant that helped me with this purchase. Jawayne did an excellent job! He is obviously very knowledgeable as far as the IPhone and available accessories. He explained all of the features of the new phone so I will be able to enjoy all the features.
They take advantage of people over 65. They sell you much more than you need, and they charge an unreasonable price. When I asked if I could see on paper the details of the plan I was told Sorry. We cant do that.

Jawayne was the sales rep who assisted me during my recent store visit. He was professional, cordial, well informed and easily addressed my upgrade transaction. Jawayne was efficient, thorough, patient and kind. Jawayne has an easy going disposition and conducted himself in a polite and capable manner. He is a true asset to the store!

I always enjoy going to this store. Claetin is so knowledgeable and so helpful. I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else. It doesnt matter if Im in the store or at home and something goes wrong with me phone because I hit something and messed something up. He knows exactly what to tell me of how to correct the problem and or fix It. Very sweet young gentleman. What an amazing asset to your company!
My girlfriend added 4 lines and got the Samsung A11 deal, which were free. The store manager Keith, who she was dealing with, did not ask if she wanted insurance ($15), or Next Up ($5). When she was done I told her I would check the account if he slammed the account. Sure enough, the store manager slammed each line with insurance and next up, for a total of an $80 increase of my bill ($20 per line). Beware of feature slamming at this location.

Under trained to handle problems. I waisted an hour of my life. I felt sorry for this person. Someone train this person before you put that person on the floor to engage with customers.
Kevin was more interested in watching basketball than in me. He DID NOT: explain the working of my new phone; the details of how I would receive my $300 trade in or even the basic details of how to operate my new phone.He DID NOT go over my bill and receipt.I told him I DID NOT want the empty boxes but he gave them to me anyway.As the new phone was down-loading he had AMPLE time to do so. Instead, he made use of this time by slowly walking over to a trash can to throw away a single piece of paper, gazing at the several TVs in the room (basketball) and many other time-wasting behaviors.I had to ask him pointedly how my wireless recharger worked.He was not impolite, but not polite either.
The in store sales reps were extremely friendly and helpful. Nora was patient and thoughtful while helping me choose a new phone! She was kind enough to set up my new device and ensured I would have no issues after leaving the store. All in all recommend this location to anyone!
This manager does not take responsibility for mistakes that he and his employees make. He does not train his employees properly. Keith West is manager and only interest in selling high priced phones. Other AT&T stores I have done business with are very helpful to customers particularly with problems with bill or programming. This manager is arrogant and insulting stating there is nothing he can do to help. After calling AT&T found out he is a dealer not an employee - explains alot

Store was empty, no one in there yet the kid was more interested in finishing whatever he had going on his phone than help us. He just sat in the chair on his phone as we wandered. We left, ordered all 8 phones online...

Store is new and kept clean. Watch out though, they will put insurance on your devices without telling you about the extra charge or what the coverage is etc. They just want to fill the quotas even if it harms the customer. Be sure to check the bill after your visit here, luckily ATT shows everything line by line so employees cant sneak things like this throughOverall, avoid this store and do your business with telesales or online. If you need a Sim card, sure go in. Otherwise watch out...

The Manager at the location goes above and beyond for the customer absolutely patient and helped me resolve issues that nobody else would at Verizon or other store on Jackson I broke my phone and if he would not have recommended the insurance I would have been out an iPhone 10 plus with no way of replacing it.I have sent all my family in there
I just moved to a condo and all I did was need an address change and they were so nice to help me with that

AT&T Cookeville,We recently visited to upgrade my device. Very clean professional and well arranged store with very pleasant staff. Claetin upgraded my phone, he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in getting me into the device that I should be happy with. Claetin earned 5 stars easy.I must add that I’ve been an AT&T customer for 24 years and this was the best experience I have had dealing with upgrading my phone.When we returned to finish paying for the phone Keith and Rosa helped me. Again, very pleasant people to deal with. This is an excellent place to shop for wireless devices.Not all AT&T stores are created equal.Well, hate to have to change my review, but did the same thing that we did 2 years ago for our second line, different sales rep - and WOW, we got taken to the cleaners!!We specified “do not change our plan”. They did. We went from $120 a month to $183. This is unacceptable. Especially for folks on a fixed income.Evidently this store has joined the ranks of other AT&T stores ☹️Another update;Unless they remove their comments, you can see where Primecomms reached out to me, offering their assistance in resolving my issues.As they requested, I sent them via email all the details of my unsatisfactory experience. Not only did they NOT resolve my issue; They. Didn’t. Even. Response. To. My. Email. Evidently Primecomms is another one of the many companies that are no longer in the customer service business. AT&T Cookeville will no longer receive my business nor will they be endorsed by us.It’s such a shame, they were a premium store back in the day.

I left US Cellular for AT&T and I live in Livinston and the service is surprisingly great
