It was nice and clean. They are doing some rearranging so they were short on shopping carts. We only went in for 1 thing but looked at their meat Department. Everything in it looked really good.

Love to support the local people! Sometimes I pay a bit more for things, but so many things are always on sale it balances out in the end. Several young people work there and some are friendly and helpful and some not so much. Overall, good experience everytime!

The store smells musty which doesnt make for a pleasant shopping experience. And their prices are astronomical!! $4.56 for a little tiny bowl of microwave mac-n-cheese?? Wth is that about? We all have to eat...dont we?? If youre not well-to-do, then youre gonna be living off of $1 Banquet TV Dinners, and bologna & cheese sandwiches...until their prices drop, ⭐⭐⭐s!

This has become my new favorite grocery store. I stopped by because someone recommended it for the meat selection. The prices are incredible! My grocery bill has decreased significantly. The staff is always properly masked and very friendly. Everything is easy to find and stocked well.

The girl that rang us up had such an attitude. Looking at her phone, drinking her drink, tossing our groceries like she just didnt give a care. Waited in line because there was only one person working the register. I hate this store. It also has a very weird smell.

Yikes! They were probably having a bad day. Waited in line behind 6 people being served by one cashier. That was weird since I could see about a half dozen employees doing various tasks. The customer in front of me had trouble after her items were rung up and left the store to reload her cash card somewhere off premises. The cashier couldnt figure out how to ring me up instead of the customer who went AWOL and turned her back to me. I stood there for 5 minutes during which time a manager wandered by and asked the cashier if everything was OK. She explained what was going on and instead of opening a new register or figuring out how to help the next customers in line, he simply said OK, no problem. I put my items back in the basket set it on the floor and left. I try to only write good reviews but this situation left me scratching my head a bit. I was trying to avoid Walmart and support a different, more local business but even Walmart had this place beat. Like I said...maybe a bad day

Deli is open, they have good breakfast, I havent tried lunch. Store is clean and they try to have a good variety of items.

One of 2 places that carry the chocolate milk I drink. You would think I drink some obscure brand no I drink Mayfield or purity chocolate milk there are only a couple p.ace that carry those brands.

I was not wowed. Store is clean and well lit, but seemed a little short on varieties of brands. At first glance the produce section looked great. As I looked for items, I noted they didnt stock them. Seedless cucumbers and radishes were not stocked. Their meat selections appear limited. For me, not worth the drive from Baxter.

I like this grocery store because its an independent, local grocer. While they carry a lot of name brands, you can also find some locally produced items here as well -- Sunshine Dairy milk is great! This was where I found toilet paper during the Great TP Crisis of 2020. Shop local, yall!

Nice, smaller grocery. Sort of an old time feel grocery, which is a good thing. Sometimes prices are higher (than other places) sometimes they are not.FRIED CHICKEN: For 6.99 you get a full chicken, sectioned, and fried. I think it is the best fried chicken in town after KFCs Original Recipe. (Popeyes is good, but that location is so totally broken I dont bother anymore, nor should you.) If you are anywhere on the north side of town, IGA has the fried chicken you want. AND it is only half the price of KFC. Go get the chicken. Really. (Make sure it has not been under the heat lamp too long, like anywhere else.)4- stars for prices and limited access to organic products. Otherwise, 5-star all the way.

Hometown is exactly what it is. Home. Best store ever. We are in so often they they pretty much know us by name. Great selection on meats and I couldnt be happier with my crew there.

Enjoy shopping there. Good sales, Produce, they have pick 5 meat, and other items for $20. Nice cashiers, bakery, fried chicken and rotisserie chicken, fresh everyday. You can get plate lunchs to go, or eat there. They have a good amount of food items, and a store brand. Not, crowded up, wide aisles, fast checkout. They bag, you carryout.

Prices are slight high on something but my BIGGEST complaint is their unfriendly employees. They dont say anything to you. Most cashiers say hello and greet you in some way. Not here. Ive been going there lately and just returned from there and once again not a hello, thank you or hope to see you again. Pretty sad. Not very welcoming.

Great place for groceries that are priced right and a great place to get hot food for breakfast and lunch. Another plus is they carry milk from a local dairy farm. The chocolate milk is absolutely amazing.

Every time I come in I am greeted with a smile and a hello one day I came in with a hurt back and needed water, someone was very nice to help me get it into my car. Such lovely people here. Prices are great and never had a problem with the produce or the butcher. Very happy.

They have a great deli where they serve meat and three style hot meals for an affordable price. The deli also packages cold meals that they discount after a few days. This was a great find while at Tech.

I loved that they had Springer Mountain chicken. Store was clean and well stocked.

Prices roughly comparable to Krogers, and the staff was nice. I will say that when I walked into the store, I was hit with a very strange smell that I couldnt place. Despite that, Ill probably be shopping here more in the future.

I really like the store and the staff are very friendly and courteous. Someone usually greets you when you walk in the door. If you need help there is usually someone nearby to help you. The experience there is wonderful and it feels laid back and comfortable. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 is because the prices can be a bit high. I live on a fixed income and I can not afford to do all my shopping there but I did frequent there for a few items that I need.

I shop here often since its on my way home. I just feel like some of the cashiers are not friendly. Also had two different items with mold found on them and manager was not easy to deal with.

Small town grocery, somewhat limited (but high quality brands) selection. Staff very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Prices a bit higher than national chain groceries but well worth it for convenience to local residents and college students. Two blocks from Tennessee Tech University.

IGA is a wonderful grocery store! Some of their prices might not be as cheap as Wal-Mart, but if you want to support a local business, then IGA is the place to do your shopping at!! Employees are ALWAYS kind, courteous, and helpful with any questions you may have about their, store-brand products, plus all of the other products, as well!!

Good deals in the meat dept and I love their like homemade deli food. Im addicted to the deli chicken tenders, have some heat/spiciness but mild with no burn or harsh bite.

The best thing about IGA is that it isnt Walmart. IGA stands for Independent Grocers Alliance - locally owned businesses allied together to compete with corporate monopolies. They deserve more of our business.

The prices of meats and canned goods are better than other places, but other prices in the store are more expensive than they should be. The overall condition of the store is very outdated and rough, as well. The staff is friendly and helpful, however.

Great quick place to stop when you just need a couple things for dinner. Selection is good for the size of the store. Employees are friendly and theres never more than a couple people checking out in front of you and when it does get busy they immediately open more registers so theres never much of a wait. Also parking starts pretty much right up next to the store with many spaces so theres not much of a walk to get to your car either. They have some unique things from local sources for sell you cant find anywhere else. You can buy a bag of cereal marshmallows which Ive never seen anywhere else including big box stores so thats a plus lol. Overall just a great little grocery store for quick stops.
