Awesome service! 5:30 pm on a Friday is NOT a good time to have battery issues. I got a jump and discovered they were open so I drove in. The young man here was so helpful. And he discovered my battery was under warranty! Win- win!!Thank you .

I went in with an issue with my car battery on my BMW. Justin helped me the instant I walked into the door. He was so knowledgeable and courteous. He made certain that I understood what was going on as he was helping me. He put in a new battery for me and I was on my way in a very short time with a great warranty. I’ve used interstate batteries for over 10 years. Recently it got cold enough that even my Chevy Silverado didn’t want to start. I went there for a jump pack and laughed at the guy that showed me the me the Genius GB40. I explained this wasn’t a little 4 cylinder, but he was adamant, figuring I’d be back shortly I went home, charged it for an hour, and jumped my truck with no issues. It took like 30 seconds of cranking in total. Then my neighbors seeing I got started asked if I could get them started. Thinking it was maybe do 1 more, it started all 6 of them. Showing 50% remaining. They know what they’re talking about, and their products are reliable. I’ve never had a situation where I purchased an interstate battery or product and they didn’t stand behind it.

Great service and advice

Good place for mostly everything, except not so good when trying to make a warranty valid. Bought the most expensive battery for its warranty and peace of mind but when I tried to change it, I had to go to many hoops and loops and still had to come back on a different day till they were done doing all their diagnostics. The guys were just following store policy it seems, as they themselves seem like good lads. Their warranty policy, limited availability and few store locations makes it very inconvenient when you just need to change your battery. Still giving it three stars due to the guys currently working there being really helpful other times.

These guys rock! I stopped to get a battery for my 07 charger. From start to finish with them installing it I was here less than 10 minutes! I had called around on the way there and they had the most affordable price to boot.Very happy with there service and I have gotten several batteries over the years from this store.

The only place ill buy batteries for my car. not only do they install for me, but they offer cleanings as well. People are great and helpful! Also a great place to get watch batteries (if you dont wear a smart watch), they also install those!

These guys are the best! I came all the way from st.paul for a used battery and long story justin got me a new battery! Great people work here!

I brought my car here several months ago to have the battery load tested cause at times it would turnover hard. So when I drove up to the store their was only one car in their parking lot. So when I when in their was only one person working and no one else was there, so I asked him if he would load test my battery because I was have so issues with it. So he goes out and load test the battery and say it was boarder line and that it would be ok. Then he toke off the positive terminal and found some minor corrosion which wipe right off then he could get the bolt to restart so he replaced it. Then I asked him what going to happen when it get below zero and her said if it give you trouble bring it back then and they will recheck it. Well that battery died and Im not about to go back to this store just because of how I was treated. The guy new it was a bad battery by testing it, even my mechanic told me it was to far gone to take another winter. So Instead of selling me a new battery and taking care of that boarder line battery he decide to turn a customer away and I will not be ever coming back. My mechanic new more then this so called sale person did, Very bad salesmanship, worst customer service Ive ever experienced

Guy even installed the battery for me. He also plugged a backup battery near the drivers seat so all my station presents were saved. Excellent service in and out in 10 minutes.

Really trust the brand and warranty. This location was super busy today and only two people were working- they still provided great, fast service for me and I was in and out in probably 15 minutes with a new battery installed in my car.

UPDATE: So I did what the employee advised me to do and trickle charged my car every night for 4 days. My car would still have issues and struggle to start. Thinking that what I was advised (that the battery and alternator were good) were true, I planned to get my starter replaced. I brought it to a trusted friend/mechanic/shop owner to do the job. But first we tested the battery again. It gave readings of 9volts and 250cca...we put in a different battery and everything worked perfectly!So in short, the Interstate Battery employee gave me false information (likely so I would just leave so they could close) that almost led me to replace the starter when it was the battery all along. They were nice at the surface, but lying and misleading customers is a big no-no. Sadly, I am disappointed.=======tl;drAwesome customer service. Very honest and kind workers thatll help you out - even if that the end result doesnt involve having to buy a battery!So for that past few days, my car has had difficulties starting up in the morning. Seeing that I havent needed to replace my car battery for the past 7 years, I figured it was about time to get a new one. So I called local shops around to get quotes and to see if they had my size battery in stock. Three places either did not have it in stock, or they had terribly bad rude service. Frustrated with my experiences, I decided to drive a little further to the Coon Rapids Interstate Battery store. Boy, am I glad I did!When I called them to see if they had my battery in stock, Marty picked up the phone and was super nice. He kindly assured me that theyd take care of me and quickly found out that they had the right sized battery on the shelf just waiting for me. When I get there, Marty was helping another customer, so a gentleman by the name of Daniel helped me. Just a good spirited kind older guy. He brought out some equipment to test my battery (for free btw) to diagnose the issue. It read a perfect 12volts. He then puts a load on it, which gave out a reading of 14v. Then he took it off and sure enough - it went back down to 12v. My battery still has some life in it after all these years! Daniel said that it may just need to charge up some juice, so he told me to trickle charge it overnight for the next few days.Im very appreciative of the kind demeanor and honestly good service that both Marty and Daniel gave. Most other shops wouldve just went in for the kill, but this team definitely had my best interest as a customer in mind. Ill definitely be coming back when I do need a new battery!
