Safeway is a large store however everyone there is friendly and happy to help you. I am a long time customer and am happy with the deals and rewards we receive. They make shopping easy with the app you can shop ahead and create your list. I cant say it is as cozy as cheers but their constant quality service and how they represent the store makes it easy to be a loyal customer happy

The Safeway here is the BEST! There is always someone there that can help me if I need. And there is no waiting in lines either. Great place!

It was ok, set up slightly different than most Safeways I shop at. I didnt like the narrowness of space between check outs and end caps. I used self check out so other than a clerk asking if I needed assistance while in an aisle I cant comment on customer service. However that alone is better than my local one.

This is a beautiful location. Veg in the middle of the store is a great idea! Easy in, easy out. Friendly service and there are single cans of hard seltzer! Like every Safeway they still need to work on making sure everything has a price tag. But, to their credit, it wasnt hard to get a price check.

The store is put together nicely. The shelves well stocked. However, this time of year the beef prices are high. Always watch the discount I have found sales at higher prices,

With the mask mandate back Im excited tobsee that a majority of people are masked up again.However, there were 2 vendors (on stocking tortillas and one stocking Pepsi products) who were unmasked and obviously didnt care. As well a few customers who felt the same. I fell if youre going to put a sign that says Masks Required you should enforce it.

Picked up needed groc. For me and Joe we help out when we can.

Compared to food prices at the CA Safeway near our home, prices here are more reasonable. Standard selection of goods and services typical in a supermarket. Produce appeared fresh and of good variety. Friendly butcher in the Meat section. Store on the smallish side for a chain market.

Hac a cash rebate sent to my email for them and after 2 cashiers and 2 cust Serv reps had to pay for my items with my own cash instead of rebate because they couldnt figure out. It took almost an hour out of my day. Very frustrating. Dont send them if you cant honor them digitally. We all dont have printers.

I always do like Safeway however they are a bit more expensive than most other places. But they are always clean they have good customer service and I do appreciate that

We went on a Monday so a lot of the places were closed.We visited the outdoor farmers market -it had a huge variety of produce at reasonable prices.

From hot deli food to bakery fresh donuts and specialty items. The pharmacy is also open for all your needs. Fresh/frozen seafood and they even make kabobs ready to put on your grill.

Pharmacy is always helpful. They have an excellent variety of products. I can always find what Im looking for there.

James, the man who brought my order out for me, is very nice and friendly.

This is a smaller of the two Safeways in the Bay area the North bend has its own gas station the Coos Bay one is convenient for going towards the beaches or going south or north best use to Safeway club cards

I would recommend avoiding the deli! Nothing is edible. Most items outdated. Go across the street to Fred Meyers, all groceries way cheaper too.

I like this place, its easier to move around in for me in my wheelchair. They have a turkey sausage with andouille seasoning, I really like it. The employees are nice and will go out of their way to help you. If you have not tried the turkey sausages, I highly recommend them. Have a great day and stay safe.

My Wife just got a sandwich that had so much mayo on it. That she was scraping away paste. Only reason its getting 2 stars and not 1 is because we could tell the dude didnt normally work that station.

My favorite store for my groceries and my prescriptions

Two times in the last month I have bought expensive steaks that look great on the top but are very brown on the bottom. The first time the meat had a smell. I live in Coquille so I took it back to Safeway there and was treated ugly because I wanted to exchange. Manager threw in the trash and told me I just cost her store that price because I bought in Coos bay. This time it’s Valentine’s Day and I bought a rib eye to bbq but all brown on the bottom. My husband knows all about meat as he is the captain of a commercial fishing boat. I will never buy meat from Safeway again. Sorry for this review but people need to be aware.

Went to Starbucks was able to order over the phone and have my friend go in and pick it up they gave me a peppermint mocha frappuccino that was amazing and so delicious.

Safeway uses COVID-19 protocols. If you need help finding items, the staff are well trained and, willing to help you find it..

Its Safeway as to be expected, with most of your grocery needs available. Safeway in North bend has more variety hence the 4⭐

Nice clean store

As chain supermarkets go, Safeway/Vons is probably as good as it gets. Their store brand merchandise as as good as - sometimes better than - name brand stuff. And, at least in Coos Bay, they have consistently better produce. If you have the club card and use their app, you can save a LOT of money. (I just cut 40+% off my ticket by doing so.)

Safeway was a good experience. Teller/clerk was friendly, shelves were well stocked, we found everything we needed, plus extras. Store was clean, all in all, a good day shopping. Only drawback, rest room was not maintained, toilet was full to overflowing, had to tell a clerk to get someone to clean it up.

Great place to shop. Little expensive if you dont have a Safeway card. And its clean, very clean. Clerks are fast, friendly and they smile.

I looked at this site planning to order food gifts for a relative that lives in Coos Bay. I routinely shop at Safeways myself and I know what approximate prices should be. This site says it offers free delivery - well it really isnt free at all since most items are nearly double the price I would expect shopping in the store myself. I also notice they do not have an option for local folks to shop online and pay with food stamps. Shame on you Safeway for allowing people to be gouged further economically during this covid pandemic by participating in a grocery delivery scam like this rather than just offering delivery service from your store by participating in this shopping scam!

They do a great trim on our dog. Very friendly, dog is related and staff is awesome.

The employees are typically very rude, the produce is always way over ripe or has just straight up gone bad. And I haven’t had the deli food much, buts it’s gross when I do.

Nice little store, however it isnt as nice as the one in North Bend. This is a smaller store but still nice. Plenty to choose from . The employees were friendly enough. Nice to chat with while checking out. For us it takes some adjusting when figuring the store layout. Nothing like walking back and forth to find things. None the less we love Safeway/Albertsons.

Love the various departments. The bakery is my favorite.

I rarely post reviews, but today I experienced an act that compelled me to do so. When I finished my business with this Safeway I exited the store, propped myself up against a wall and called a cab. I have a lot of physical issues that cause a lot of pain. Most of the time I feel I hide it very well. The gentleman stationed at the exit doors apparently saw right through me. He came out and offered to bring me a chair while I waited. I politely declined. A few minutes later he brought the chair out anyway. I was in a bit of pain and was very grateful. Thank you.

Its a nice and convenient place too shop and very pleasant staff too help you find anything you need.

Drove from reedsport to Safeway because they said they had rice wine vinegar. Got there and the bottle the young lady pulled was not wine vinegar. The shelf said they had it and there was none there. 56, miles waisted.

My go to grocery store!! Always courteous. My only wish is that special sale item and such were kept stocked. Not everyone has money at the beginning of a sale
