Please bring back the coffee shop!! I’m a summer employee and the atmosphere is great most of the time, but this store struggles from scheduling conflicts and promising the customer/consignor more than what the employees are capable of. Lots of avoidable misunderstandings and frustrated consignors, but when things work the way they are supposed to it’s like clockwork. There are constantly new faces at work and the variety of coworkers is refreshing. Consigning is fun too if planned correctly. It’s helpful to know the ins and outs of the system, but is confusing to first-time consignors. I really like Stuff Etc as a shopping spot and a workplace.

Great resale store. Check out clearance areas first. Items in store for 60 days are half off. Items in store for 90 days are 80% off. Lots of new items. I found books, clothes, shoes, and office supplies at great prices. Every time you go, it is like a treasure hunt. Basement has furniture.

A very successful shopping experience. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for at amazing prices. And the store clerks were very friendly. Always a good thing.

Ive been here on multiple occasions. Set up delivery of many items, and they came and got the items to my apartment quickly.

Great store. Always new and exciting treats to discover. Prices are unbelievable. I got 3 CDs for 60 cents. Staff was very friendly.

They let me in with no mask! 👍 However, the clothing prices were through the roof👎 so I went out the door. I did end up snagging a couple reasonably priced articles of clothing though.

Would not recommend consigning here. Followed guidelines with new clothing and quality items. Only took one item of 15 and donated the rest without offering opportunity to get items back.

Very rude staff and kids clothes are way over priced. Ive been going here for years and always loved it but this last time all of their staff was unfriendly and rude. Not sure if they have new management now?

Would not recommend this store unless you want to hear a worker going of and harassing customers that are not wearing mask. We finally left didnt want to listen to hear anymore and the family she was tormenting was very polite threw it all

If you cant find what you want at Stuff Ect, youre doing it wrong. 👌 Needed a new pair of dress shoes. Got FOUR for half the price of retail.

Very disappointed in their customer service. My sister and I brought in multiple boxes and the worker saw us bring them in and had us use the self check in. We were asking her questions while we were loading up our totes and she was being rude answering them. After 15 minutes of unloading our boxes into the totes she then tells us we can only fill one tote. We then had to unload all of the totes again and put them back into our boxes and haul everything back out to our car. It would have been nice from the start if she would have told us we could only fill one tote.

Interesting, but not great. Not my type of place, really. No kind of social distancing going on there, for sure, which is to be expected given the type of store and sweaty bargain shoppers looking for the best stuff to flip online.

I love most clothes here, but the customer service isnt great. The employees stopped their job to sit and chat about drama while checking people out

Would have left zero star review if possible. Purchased two 1000 piece puzzles after counting discovered one was missing pieces, when attempting to exchange or return, was totally disregarded because “ Today is our big 50% off sale “ “we are not able to do anything today we are too busy” The employee then stated the manager “Jewels “ was in the store today to see if she could help. With long lines and no employees available we simply picked up the phone to call and ask for Jewels. Suddenly over the phone Jewels was not in the store today. Which was not the truth. If you visit the store read the murial on the wall that starts off “ Customer is King “ laugh to yourself and take your money and consignment somewhere else.

We got only half our couch for 600 dollars!

I love this store. So many wonderful things to look at! I wish they hadnt gotten rid of the coffee shop. It was very competitively priced and delicious. I also wish the clientele was more socially conscious. Few wear masks and social distancing is nonexistent. I worry about catching COVID every time go in because of that factor. The store itself is lovely though, as is the staff.

Highly dissatisfied with your customer service. I felt that we were treated with disrespect while unloading furniture. Anita mentioned multiple times to wear a mask even while outside the facility. We asked for a dolly and was given one but only through the crack of the door. We were not offered any other assistance with our items.

Always find something great when I shop here! Shopping for kids clothes at Stuff is great since kids go through clothes fast. Always nice taking stuff there and getting some extra cash throughout the year.

Absolutely awful. I worked here for over a year where I was continuously harassed and bullied by my superior. After reporting it several times to HR, they continued to ignore my concerns. Please do not support this business. They do NOT care about their employees.

If you dig, you can find a good deal. If you want to consign anything, it takes an army to do so. I called on my hour drive to Iowa City to see if they were accepting consignments today. They said yes. When I arrived 45 minutes later, they said they aren’t accepting anything.

I love Stuff, but lately they’ve been putting their sticky price tags on the insole of shoes. This makes the shoes unwearable because the sticker residue sticks to your socks or bare feet. Please, Stuff, change the way you tag your shoes? I would give a 5 star rating if you did this, as I buy a lot of shoes.

Items are in good shape. Sometimes I find really good deals. Consigning just about everything is great as they pay decent percentage you can use towards your purchases.

The store is usually kept pretty well. Things are organized in sections. I wish the sizes were marked clearly. In the larger sections, they dont tell you where the sizes end on one rack vs another. They have a huge clearance section which is nice as well

We travel I-80 frequently. Stuff Etc is always a stop! Great selection, fair prices, friendly staff! And, a COSTCO gas stop just down the street! Our Stuff Etc bag is always in the car!

I love Stuff! I prefer this location over the Iowa City one because I can always seem to find a lot more clothes and little trinkets here (I collect Japanese things and I find them a lot here). Overall, I prefer Stuff way more than I do Goodwill. Prices are also pretty reasonable too, depending on what you buy. You can occasionally come across some stuff that makes you think why the heck are they selling this, but for the most part the quality control here is pretty good.

I truly like this place. Came to furniture shop found many items I will return to buy!. Only thing is I am disabled i didnt see any motorized scooters or wheelchairs . I cant walk long or far. But I am returning this month for your mattress special. And to buy furniture

Prices always seem fair. They know what they are selling, you need to know what your buying. They are always doing some sort of sale or percentage to local schools and organizations. So why not shop there. Simple as that!

Stuff Etc. is one big garage sale. You can make some extra cash and find some great deals. I particularly enjoy shopping the used furniture in their basement. You can find some quality pieces for much cheaper than youd buy them for full retail somewhere else. With a little TLC, theyre as good as new anyway!

I consign here often and Ive never had negative experiences until today. A staff member named Megan was very rude to me. I inquired about the price of a large item I consigned and she essentially told me I should be thankful they even accepted my item. When I asked if there was any chance I could have my item back since they just priced it this morning and I was only going to get $2 back for it she began to raise her voice at me. She concluded that I would be able to pick up my item, but that she literally had to take it from a customers hands... Before ending the call I asked if she could please clarify what the policy was on cases like these when you dont agree with the price they list your item for, so I would know for future reference. She began raising her voice at me AGAIN. I was never disrespectful or rude to her. I just had a question and it didnt call for being treated in such an unprofessional manner.I dont know why this lady works retail/customer service. Very disappointed that people just get away with treating others like this.

Good selection of clothes,shoes,furniture,toys..priced at affordable rates. Only complain I have is last time I was in Coralville Stuff..I needed charging cord for my phone and found 2 cords..went to check out in front of store. Waited several minutes before I got to front of line. Placed the cords on counter..lady at check out..looked at me and said..theres no price on them..I cant check you out...then she said go back to service at back of store..they can take care of you. I was argued..because she didnt call for a supervisor to check what price would be. Worked to service in back..waited a few minutes..while customer ahead was checked. I put cords on counter..told clerk what was done and said with other lady clerk at front of store. This clerk looked at me and said...thank a lot to her for nothing. She called supervisor to counter..where..I had to take and show her where I had got cords. She took care of pricing cords..paid for them and left. Only took 45 minutes to get it done. Not very impressed with lady clerk at front check out. She was rather rude and unwilling to help..with such a simple problem.

Coffee bar closed in the middle of the afternoon, on a 15 percent off day. Sure wouldve been nice to have a coffee. Staff wasnt real happy to serve, kinda get a feeling like they dont really want to help.

We love shopping here. The clothes generally are much higher quality than youd find at, say, Goodwill. Its usually fairly well organized; however, on occasion, things will be out of order (i.e. wrong sized articles of clothing on a specific rack). Great prices as well

This is one of the nicer locations. Store is clean and organized. The clothing in the basement is clearance and deeply discounted items can sell for a quarter. Huge selection of furniture. The store is located next to Coralridge Mall and I feel like a lot of Mall merchandise ends up at this store. In terms of consigning clothes/housewares they are not overly picky. Lines can be long in evenings. Coffee shop is nice feature and daily specials are good deals. You can even drink coffee while you shop.

Great consignment store. They have an excellent assortment of clothing, toys, and furniture. All in great condition. You may also consign your items there as well and get cash or store credit for them.

Two floors of well-organized consignment, everything under the sun... Whats not to love? Ive been shopping at Stuff, Etc since their only store was a little place over near Kmart in Iowa City... Theyve now grown to five cities and multiple locations. This is the place to find a brand new $100 designer dress marked down to $4, or a vintage couch that fits your decor perfectly.

Once a great place to find great deals and sell your things at a good price has not become somewhat disappointing. As a native of the area I have found Coralville Stuffs to be overpriced and as a former consignment seller I found them to be unreliable at times, when an item you sell is stolen,broken or otherwise lost they take no responsibility for it. Now years ago this store was great. Miss that store.

Even with the 60-40 split plus special discounts on the items you consign, you make more money than if you sold your items at a garage sale..... an added bonus is you dont have the headache of pricing everything and the expense of advertising for a garage sale. A fun store to shop for bargains of good quality items. I like their recycling concept and their charitable giving, as well. Just an all round fun place to consign items and to shop.

This is such a great place! Its consignment so its a little more pricy than say Goodwill but they have ALL name brand gently used stuff.

Cant ever seem to find jeans that woukd actually fit me. On both visits unfortunately the check out process just seems to take forever. Maybe they need an updated systems and better scanners I dont know. Aslo there are alot of items locked in cases that are junk and be than i see expensive items just out on sales floor with no secutity tags.. doesnt make much sense

The expansion is now complete and Stuff is better than ever. Wide selection, fair prices and fairly nice quality selections. Quite reliable for decent furniture and clothing. There is even a coffee shop!

Its okay if you like resell shops. Arranged in an unorderly manner. Goodwill is better organized.

It did not quite live up to what I had been told. I did like the book section and the prices of the books. But it did look like for everything else you had to really look for the good deals.

Been in this store many times. Most items I look at are overpriced. Often double or more than what Im accustomed to paying at thrift stores. They need better organization & more helpful staff. And why should anyone have to spend 20 minutes waiting in the check-out line? To add to that, the cashier was reluctant to help with an item without a price tag. Ill probably only come back if I get desperate for an item. But even then, whos to say Id find it?

A great Thrift store. A perfect place to pop some tags. My wife got some great dressy prissy for work and my son got some new toys.

Stuff has a wide selection of second hand item available for purchase, but not everything is a bargain. Im not sure who prices some of their stuff, but theyre in a different world if they think someone would buy used items at the prices they have listed sometimes. Its hit or miss--just have to keep an eye out for the good stuff.

This is a huge thrift store that has REALLY nice stuff. I dropped a tote of clothes to consign and that is always a very smooth process.

Clean store & friendly staff. This was my first visit there. I would return.
