COVID Testing Process Needs Work: while the online form for scheduling a COVID test is clean, thorough and easy to follow, the turn-around time is NOT what is advertised. The website DOES NOT clarify that the 24 hours is from WHEN THE LAB RECEIVES the sample.......not from when the test was administered. A big....not a slight.....difference. You only find out that it is 24 hours after lab RECEIPT when you call in to find out what the status of your test is. It didnt help that the pharmacist assistant administering the test told me Id have the results tonight (for a 12:30pm test).....set a completely incorrect expectation. When you call in, that is when the auto-attendant tells you that it actually may take 24-72 hours for test results. If you want to engage in real fantasy, go to the links for the two labs (Aegis Sciences and LabCorp) to see some compelling test turn-around data for Aegis and a confusing set of responsiveness data for LabCorp.........of course this data will have no bearing on your actual wait time....were at 30 hrs with no way to check on the status of my sons test. Aggravating. They should give you a test number so you can track your test results....like is done with UPS, Fedex, Amazon, etc.
My friend and I went into the store today looking for Squishmellows. A male employee had the item we were looking for in his cart of stuff he was stocking. We both circled the store waiting for him to put it on the shelf. A different customer went up to him and asked if he was going to put it on the shelf anytime soon. While this was happening, a female employee was laughing at the customer. Eventually, the male employee said he was going to buy it. Not only were these two employees extremely rude, but they were hoarding merchandise and laughing at the customers waiting for him to unstock it.
Nice, clean, mostly well stocked location
Love the seasonal aisle with clearance items. Always find laundry soap on salle here for $1.
Brought in packages for FedEx and got attitude from the lady at the front because she didnt want to handle a bigger package. Sick and tired getting treated like this everytime I go in. Hope they hire someone else with better customer service.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Store usually has what I need. I usually go to the store at the corner of Groton Ave and Rt 281.
Had a horrible experience here. Especially with this pharmacy intern I believe her name was Ashley. Very rude and condescending. Nver coming here again.
My prescription was called in at 11:30 I called at 4:30 said it was going to be done in half hour I walked 35 minutes to pick it up and then I get there and they said it’ll be ready in 20 mins only for them 20 minutes later to tell me it was out of stock. Ever since the new pharmacist came there they have been horrible and slow
I agree >100% w/ a previous review, of the change over from Rite Aid to Walgreens, not being a good one. Went in yesterday for a script, & w/ not currently having insurance, I had planned on using my GoodRx app to save me $20+. However, when I got there, they were very slow, the young lady behind the counter seemed fairly INexperienced (which CAN be understandable), & irritated. Long story short, she was NOT at all willing to assist in helping me to save MY money but very quick to move me along, paid THEIR price, & left very irritated myself. Definitely not my first negative experience w/ this store! Ill be switching as well!
My fiance went to get a package from there that was addressed to her and it took her over 20 minutes to get the package. They didnt believe it was her, checked the ID a million times, walked away from her. Only reason she stayed is because she NEEDED the package.
Went to get refill done and half way there they call and say they switched pharmacies and that they need to have a new script from the doctor. Its a prescription that I need and could possibly have deathly consequences if I dont have it regularly. Its crazy, now Im out. I have to call into work, wait till they open. What if the doctor is on vacation! They couldnt of called anyone to warn them that they were switching pharmacy and that this could happen!! They switched pharmacies two weeks ago!!! Terrible!!!!!
Used this pharmacy for a long time because it’s the closest to my home. I like the actual store but the pharmacy employees are rude. Switching pharmacies but I might still visit the store.
Went to get my second shingles vaccine today, pharmacist seemed and acted irritated she had to administer the vaccine.
Yesterday they had me wait half an hour while working through their cue to then say they didn’t have my meds. I called today, 8mins ringing... no answer. A hour later, another 7 1/2 mins before I gave up. This isn’t ok.
Ever since they changed they are slow never enough people to help. 3 times now they have had my script almost all day and dont have it ready by 5pm. Today (11/15) recived script at 11 am 5:00pm told just started it. Not happy at all changing pharmacy.
Service was horrible through pharmacy took the lady ten minutes to even realize I was standing there and then didnt even have the prescription ready that were called in over 2 hours ago
I use this pharmacy for my whole family and it usually works out to my advantage they very seldom are out of our monthly Meds and one of my children is epileptic and has ADHD and Autism and takes Meds twice a day and at one point I needed a new script and couldnt get it before the weekend and the pharmacist was great and gave us a 3 day supply so he wouldnt have to go the weekend without his Meds so I was very thankful that I used this pharmacy for over 10 years... up until 2014 I used the other Rite aid on 222
Great prices
