My dad tried to buy a shotgun with a clean record and was given excuses why background check took so long finally my dad asked ask for his money back and the owner got mad and advised he failed the background check even though he has a clean background report... Remind you it took over a week and a half to aquire the report. Guy is very shady and not professional on any level

Owner has absolutely NOTHING in stock. Been in there 3 times the past 2 months, and he has YET to restock. It’s the same run-around everytime that he can order anything I need from the catalog for a 30% premium, but doesn’t have a single shot of ammo or any guns in the store. Condescending and short, definitely will not be doing business here. Save yourself a ton of money and go to Twin Oaks gun shop, or make the drive to Bass Pro. Total waste of time

Meh, Very small store not much on display at this time. They might have been preparing for Black Friday???However, I was ammo hunting here and he was out of everything I asked for including reloading supplies. This is like the only place in Cortland to get Guns and Ammo... Yikes!

Owner is pleasant to do business with and goes out of his way to make accommodations and thus makes the sale. Will do business with him again.

Purchase to Rossi 22s semi fire rifles from Milt at crown City Guns and ammo. Paid a fair price and they showed up in about a week. hands down the best gun store in the area. The other gun stores the guys can be pushy and rude condescending and belittling. Not here . Great gun store and the owner is respectable and kind

I ordered a rifle from this place that was supposed to arrive in 3-5 weeks and PAID IN FULL. After FIVE MONTHS and still no rifle the owner, Milton Sebring, said if i knew of another dealer who had the same rifle in stock, he could have it re-directed to me to fill my order. I did ALL the leg work found several dealers and called to verify they had the item in stock. Sent this information to Milt and he did nothing. after SIX MONTHS and still no rifle, I called AND EMAILED my cancellation, MAY 2017. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REFUND OF $2,000.00. Its excuse after excuse as to why he is unable to send my refund. On 07SEP2017 he called me and advised that my refund had been sent out to me on 06SEP2017 via USPS Priority mail. He was unable to provide a tracking number. To date I STILL do not have my refunded payment of $2,000.00.

I ordered a Rem R25-II from him 13 months ago, paid in full. They have been widely available on the market for the past 8-9 months. The stories as to why I do not have it in my hands have been many and inconsistent. I have bought from him in the past without problems and both this transaction and another for a non profit group that I facilitated have failed miserably. I have been told by the shop owner this has been in his possession from early-mid summer, as of today not a shred of proof the long gun exists at his home, shop, The shop owner so far has refused to provide a picture of it, serial numbers or shipping paperwork to indicate that it was ever ordered or received.Update: November 2017, after filing complaints with the BBB, ATF, NY AG and Local County DA, a money order refund was received for my personal firearm order that never delivered item in question. A money order refund for banquet firearms for a non profit event was also received. No evidence has been provided indicating any of the firearms in question were ever received, or in his possession as the shop owner declined to provide pictures, serial numbers or shipping paperwork to indicate that it was ever ordered or received.

Absolutely the worst gun store Ive ever been to, I paid for my purchase which I assume he never ordered, everytime I went in he gave me the run around, until finally i had to argue to get my money back.

If you enjoy wasting your time and being lied to, get ahold of Milt at Crown City. Otherwise, it would be advisable to find another dealer in the area to handle your firearms needs.
