I’ve been in there recently two time Sunday an yesterday.. I Love shopping there but their employee just made my experience there horrible.. I wasn’t gonna post anything an go about my day but then I got attitude from a staff members yesterday an it made me feel extremely uncomfortable an then when I asked a simple question about some gel nail polish she just looked at me an didn’t say anything.. Me an my family will stick to Cosmoprof
Very helpful employee, and even showed me all the right shampoo and conditioner I needed for my personal hair type.
The lady here was so nice!! omg if I were her I would not have the patience for a customer who came in a minute before close (me). lol
Staff was very helpful. The store is cramped but that seems to be the case with all of them so thats not the locations fault. I actually drive past a closer location to go to this one because its usually a positive experience.
They are well stocked. The staff is helpful.

Been to this location 3x less than 1 month and Ive always encountered the same friendly employee there! She definitely makes shopping there very welcoming & also helped me find a few items I needed for my hair.
Yesterday I was in and had help from a wonderful employee of Sallys. Not only did she help me with a return but she also helped me with product information and helped me to straighten out my account (which I had multiple accounts it turns out). Instead of sending me home to call or fix my account issues online she took the time to call while I was there and get the accounts combined into one. It is rare to find someone who will take the time to be helpful and care about customer satisfaction.
Terrible, terrible service. The sales clerk was harassing the woman in front of me. Then when I was checking out, she did not charge me the way that she said she was going to. When I asked her to take two products off because she had given me the wrong pricing information, she did not calculate the refund correctly. She refused to show me how she had calculated the refund so I asked her to cancel the entire order. At that point she said that what I was asking her to do was ridiculous, that I was giving her attitude (whatever that means) and that I was no longer welcome in her store. I asked to speak to the manager who she said was not available and that he would back her up anyway. The entire time she was shaking her head, and muttering her disapproval. When I asked her why her hands were were shaking, she told me she was angry. I was never loud or angry and did not warrant that kind of treatment. The people in line behind me and in the line behind the next register over were commenting on her terrible behavior. If you dont want a humiliating shopping experience, dont go to Sally Beauty Supply in Cottage Grove MN. There are a lot of other stores in the area that sell good products and that will treat you respectfully.
Some good products. Good workers for the most part and helpful. But the one in cottage grove at least is never open when they say theyre open at and they close earlier than they say. Drove a ways to go there once only to find that they say they open at 9 and I got there at 10 and they were still not open >_
Not a bad shop and has most of what you would need. Its kind of crowded in there with so many products in a small space. Employees try to be helpful if you ask a specific question like where is this exact product but not as great with since you dont carry this one, which is most similar? But they dont really offer to help on their own--you have to ask.
Good prices and I love the quality of the products, however their employees suck at helping their customers and give horrible advice on what to do and what you need. And most are rude as can be. I used to love Sallys a few years back but its just went so downhill with its employees.
The sales person was extremely helpful & knowledgeable about the products available. Also super friendly and easy to talk to. =)
Employees are rude, apparently I need to be a rewards member for an exchange. Wrong prices are on shelves. Been sitting here for 10 min for something super simple. 🙄 drive to Woodbury
Very friendly and talented staff at this location! They are perfectionists and support their local community. What more could you want?
They are ridiculous rude and unhelpful. One clerk will tell you one thing, help you pick a product, then yoh come back IN THE SAME DAY and they act like they know nothin about why you got what you got (even though its impossible to buy anything that they DIDNT RECOMMEND) then they talk to you like your stupid and steal your money when you were sold on something completely different. RUDE. STUCK UP. UNHELPFUL AND UNKNOWLEDGEABLE. DO NOT GO HERE.
