Ordered donuts, muffins, pastries, granola bars, oranges, apples, and bananas for a training at Hero Center nearby. Super slick for Walmart pickup at 8am. Drove in and out with breakfast items within minutes. Forgot to order napkins, plates, and serving trays so ran in they had everything in stock. Many compliments at the training on the quality and variety.

This is my favorite Walmart I the Twin Cities. The shelves are always stocked, the aisles are always clear, there arent random products laying around & it is a very clean store.The bathrooms are always clean.They have a massive craft & sewing selection. A lot of Walmart stores no longer have fabric but this one has plenty.The pharmacy is great too. You never have to wait too long & the pharmacy staff is always friendly.I also love that the greeters here dont stop you on the way out to interrogate you & look at your receipt like at some Walmart even though they literally just saw you check out. No one has time to be harassed like that. Kudos Cottage Grove Walmart.

Always fully stocked, especially compared to nearby supermarkets. The liquor store is a bit small but they managed to fit a good variety in.Employees tend be helpful but not anything extraordinary. Its definitely my store of choice since we live close.

I received my flu shot and Covid booster at the pharmacy with no waiting. Friendly staff. Clean and well stocked. If I had a question, there was an employee to answer any questions.

Ordered groceries yesterday afternoon grocery was supposed to be here 8-9pm got an email saying the order was delayed slightly. Long story short it’s the next day at 8:19pm, 13 calls later and over 2 hours of hold time still no groceries. If my work schedule wasn’t so hectic I would of been canceled. But definitely won’t be doing business here again!!!!!

Only go to Pharmacy here for a couple prescriptions -- Walmart has very competitive prescription drug pricing... If you have some expensive script, at least check here.Pharmacy staff are helpful and professional. Only complaint is 1 poor customer service experience which delayed my pickup, and raised my blood pressure. Still, it was either just that person or they were having a bad day, ergo 1 star off for Hit or Miss service quality. But they are fast, call when issues, have a great notification capability.

Never again will i have a delivery scheduled from Walmart. Made order around 9am, time to be scheduled was between 1-2 pm. 5pm came and gone, called back they said no driver that they could reassign a new driver that it would be 1 to 2 hours, 9pm comes and still nothing. I called back to cancel order and they give me a 1-800 number to cancel order. Total B.S and never again. Horrible customer service and management skills.

This store is clean well stocked, had alot of Halloween decorations I havent seen at the other stores. definitely will be back. I will be going there after Halloween in hopes of 50% off to stock up for next years crafts.Big selection of clothes and they are getting ready for Xmas and may I say the Ribbon is to die for.

Pickup order was delayed by an hour for unknown reason.Show up when they say order is ready and wait for 45 minutes.Called them we will have someone out right away...after watching five more people get their groceries while we wait finally gave up and left. Will give Amazon a try again or a different Walmart.

This is my go to whenever I need to go to Walmart. Theyre always friendly and the whole setting is very organized. This Walmart is the cleanest out of all the others that Ive been to. I highly recommend this Walmart.

Paid for annual delivery fee of $98 because our hour scheduled window for pickup was CONSTANTLY delayed by 1-2 hours. All was fine for about 2 months, now today..... 2-3pm delivery scheduled.... it is 7:10pm with NOTHING. Called the store and got transferred twice. Last individual said they will let the grocery delivery department know. 45 min later.....called again, electronically transferred and hung up on..... I cant even

Not bad store, but please to have more disabilities accessible like more wheelchairs and scooters with carts attached to them, so we can use for shopping times.👍👍Very slow today that I tried to order correct things we needed, but they automatically substituted some that I did not order that was charged me for $112 😞

Wal-Mart in Cottage Grove is light years a better experience compared to Walmart in Woodbury. No ones sticking the bread, licking the ice cream or being an idiot. Great experience thus far and they even have a liquor too. Talk about one stop shopping

I absolutely love walmart!! I can get a ton of groceries at a more than fair price! I love love love the clearance racks!! I also love the fact that I can check myself out and bag my own groceries that way I need to without the bag breaking. My very most favorite is NO MORE MASK WEARING!!

Nice and quick if you just need basics at least for me. It has lots meat choices and frozen, dry goods. Its all self u scan glad Im quick. Lady was friendly as I was leaving store.

Literally the store I like this the atmosphere like the people that were there they were very helpful unfortunately they did not have what I was looking for, excuse me I was looking for a tote or the black and yellow ones they had the tote but no lids for them like every lid for every one of their black and yellow toes was gone except for like four of them and none of them fit the one that I was looking at to try to get but other than that really nice store really clean very well kept I was impressed I liked it. I drive the extra miles to shop at this Walmart (Cottage Grove) instead of the Woodbury Walmart.Its clear this store (CG) is well managed. The employees are great... theyre always friendly, and helpful...and the store is always clean and tidy.. even the floors are clean! The parking lot is also clean and its well maintained!!Their merchandise is typically well stocked and the merchandise is well maintained too.. (meaning everything is faced properly or folded and its where it should be).This store even answers their phone and they give prompt and helpful service over the phone.For what its worth.. this is not the experience at the Woodbury store.I stopped shopping the Woodbury store -permanently- about 18 months ago. I simply had had enough of that store. That store is truly a waste of retail space.But ... after 18 months. I had hoped that maybe things had gotten better after the pandemic. I stopped in a few weeks ago.. (yes. I broke my boycott...I decided to go there.. just because it was close and I just needed a couple of everyday essentials... nothing special.. but I also hoped that maybe things improved..But nope!!.Again...What a waste of time!Nothing has changed there.. its still a mess of a store, full of unhappy employees AND no merchandise. It turned out I could not find even ONE of the items that I went there to get...(shelves were empty).I did pick up one impulse item.. I got to the check out area and the lines were huge..I could also see there were zero attempts being made to get help at the registers.I finally set my one item down and walked out... (and this was not the first time I was driven to that decision!!)My Boycott (for that location) is back on!!Im not alone in this opinion... This is one of the better/closer Walmarts. The shelves are stocked better. Not worry about covid19 cuz it not that busy. The product/frozen food selection is good. It saves me a trip to a hardware store at times. Not so much the bargain hunter, just enjoy the convenience(or make my wife happy). My wife likes the office/stationary, clothes, seasonal items, arts & crafts(especially rustic), etc, etc, etc. Now pre-wiped carts would rock, but I understand why its not. Service has been good/bad at times. (Never purchase large ticket item or online purchases yet)

Got a covid vaccine here for myself and dad. Everyone wore masks and observed social distancing. A makeshift clinic kept chairs 6 feet apart, with regular wipe-downs. In and out with no hassle.

Rude as hell !!! customer service via phone took so long to answer, plus talks over the customer. Sounds like they dont want to be there. Please put people that have are suitable for customer service, people like this are bad for your business. When people call we have legit reason. It rude to have an attitude when a customer ask you something. You are there for a reason to answer peoples call. Ugh!

My son was profiled by an elderly employee when trying to return an item WITH a receipt!! I spoke with it and she was unapologetic, standoffish and obtuse. He was made to wait until the employee who waited on him came in and identified him. Like a line up. Great hire Walmart! We will never be back. Walmart in Cottage Grove, MN, is always clean and friendly. I shop there often. Prices are good. Especially find the prescription drive up convenient. Customer service is fast and returns or exchanges are easily completed. A friend and a neighbor work there and are happy with their jobs, which tells me there is good management behind the scenes.

Its a bit beat up and rundown. The parking lot is littered.

We frequently shop this Walmart through their grocery pickup service.Most recently, we received green grapes that were so rotten that several had turned a dark shade of purple, were decomposing and were covered in thick white mold.Our bananas looked like they’d been sitting out for days.Our apples had punctures in them, and when I attempted to cut the bad section away I was greeted by severe decomposition.Our oranges were varying shades of orange, green and black.This same trip we received a 2.25lb package of ground beef that was dated “Use or Freeze By April 24, 2021”. We picked up our order on April 28th.This order was also missing 18 frozen items. I called, was brushed off by the operator and then the pickup area was closed (8pm).We’ve had many issues with receiving rotten produce in the past here, but they’d refund and we toss it, and the next few trips are usually fine until it happens again.Several months ago we had arrived to pick up our order ($351 in groceries) and after waiting for about 30 minutes they came out apologizing because they had given our order to another person who had made it home, unloaded the groceries and realized it wasn’t their order. The Walmart employee asked if I was ok with that person bringing it back and they’d load it in my car but, mid-Pandemic, this seemed like a terrible idea. I waitedThis last trip was a game changer for me, I’m shopping HyVee pickup from now on.Edit: I was persuaded to give them another chance. They gave me rotten strawberries, moldy grapes (again), two containers of open feta cheese blocks and a very gross Great Value velveeta style “cheese” covered in a gooey black substance that looked too gross to be mold.I. Give. Up.

Only 2 cashiers, prepping the store to become all self check out. I was upset because I had a gift card and couldnt use self check out. I was frustrated and angry when I approached the manager. I realize the employees have no control. Once again a display of its all about money. Very sad

This is my number one store, I visit this store more than any others, it’s a one stop shop and I can’t think of any time that I’ve looked for something and they didn’t have. Easy fast self check out if wanted, or curb side pick up if you don’t want to come in. Some days the lines are longer but for the most part you might wait for like one or rarely two people in front of you.

I tried to have them price match the walmart down the road. Never had an issue until tonight. They told me they dont pricematch their other stores. Even though they have done it before, numerous times and I showed them on their app, every local store within 20 miles (about 6 stores) had the price for $5. This Cottage Grove location had it marked as $20. Basically they didnt want to price match and i drove out of my way for this item. As it is being sold fast. Absolutely terrible customer service. I will contact corporate.

Couldnt find an employee anywhere. Waited 10-15 minutes to have a case unlocked. Was about ready to take my money elsewhere. Which I will be doing in the future.

The store was okay but I am not at all impressed with their online pick up. When I placed my order the app said it could take up to four hours to complete. An hour later it was ready for pick up, but when I went to get it I was MISSING MULTIPLE ITEMS. After calling four times and waiting for over an hour, I finally got those items. The pick up employees DID NOT apologize and instead took their time to give me my items. I’m shocked that they had FOUR HOURS available to get my order ready and STILL messed it up. NOT IMPRESSED!!

I was picking up my groceries with eight other cars outside! Took forever, I saw that there was only one person giving groceries to people. Management, what are you doing to these employees? I really hope you can improve because they look like they’re working too hard.
