Was told by doctor to bring my kid back in in a couple months to make sure their first glasses were ok and it would be covered by first visit cost. Took back in a couple months later. Got bill for check up visit. Called and asked about it and was told that it would be taken care of. Offered to just pay it to make sure it doesnt become to past due of bill. They said no and they would take care of it. Got bill another month later again.Paid the bill and will not go back just wanted to be done with it before it messes with credit.Just felt lied to to much along the way.

I have been waiting for safety glasses for 8 months. I call every 2 weeks for a update and they tell me the same thing. They will call the lab and find out what going on and call me back. They never call back!!! DO NOT USE THIS EYE CLINIC. I would not give any stars but it will not let you post without giving at least one star!!!

Ordered on a Monday said it would take a 7-10 days, they didn’t even put the order in until that Friday but they had me on hold so long and we get him to think they didn’t put the order in at all and actually ordered it on the next Wednesday when I called and told me it might be another week and a half??? I get spending money for your value of item but the lenses are the most important thing and their frames are ridiculously expensive and then they have a whole section of frames that can only be bought with a certain insurance I just think it’s stupid.

I was looking forward to making my first appointment here after hearing such great things, but when I didnt get a response back after inquiring about an appointment off their website I went to another place instead.

The staff was amazing and friendly. I worked in particular with Alissa, the first time I came in I always had trouble finding glasses that look good on me. Alissa was very understanding and did an amazing job at finding the perfect pair for me. The two other times I have been there since then Alissa has given amazing service as with the rest of the staff. I highly recommend going here!!

My daughters and I see Dr. Cole for our vision exams. When we walk through the doors we are greeted with smiles and addressed by name. Dr. Cole is very nice and friendly. He is compassionate, caring, listens well, along with being dedicated and determined to help improve our vision.Additionally, Dr. Cole cares about the people in the community and about Cottage Grove, by being involved and giving back. He has served on committees, given his time and resources to organizations within the community as well.Thank you Dr. Cole and wonderful staff for taking care of us.

Love this Eyecare clinic! Ive gone for years never had any issues with my prescriptions. The doctors and staff are super friendly. Ana is always willing to help me find the perfect frame and works with me no matter how picky Im being.They are upfront and honest about what your insurance will cover and work with you on what it doesnt.Highly recommend this clinic!

0 STARSStay far away. One word incompetent! Tried to order glasses twice. First time a year ago took 4 weeks to get the glasses. Second time last month took 3 weeks to get my glasses because the lab broke the frames, got the glasses in and the lenses were scratched so they had to go back to the lab, finally get the glasses back and the lady who ordered them did not listen and ordered the lenses without transitions and the progressive bifocal was measured wrong. On my wife’s glasses they were measured wrong also so they had to be redone. All glasses were just returned and will purchase somewhere else. There needs to be a lot of training of the staff that help people order the glasses, just because they look pretty doesn’t mean that they work or that you will not have problems. Tried to give them a second chance and nothing changed in one year.

It took one month to get detailed receipts e-mailed for purchases of eyeglasses totaling over $400 (they provided only summary on day of payments). 2 mos. later of repeated calls/e-mails and on-site visits, Im told well finally receive the correct prescription for my sons contact lenses. I made it clear my insurance covers either lenses/frames for glasses not, too. Theyre quoted rates for contact lens was almost $200 more than an on-line vendors I researched. Doctor & eye exams were great--but their back office systems are a nightmare.

Ordered safety glasses in November still have not gotten them and its January. They say they will call me back and I never get a call. Pretty sure my order had been lost but they wont tell me what is going on and I keep getting the run around

I found this clinic when my family moved to CG about 5 years ago. The doctors are fantastic and willing to work with you. The staff are so kind and truly care about you as a person. There are no hidden fees, they are very honest and upfront about charges etc. It has been a wonderful experience. I plan on bringing my 4 year old son in a few weeks!

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me thrice, no thanks.I went to see Dr. Cole to get new glasses. Im in my thirties and have been wearing glasses since I was three.Fool me once: Ive never needed to have pair of glasses with a prism. However, Dr. Cole insisted that I try it and that hed change it to without one if it didnt go well. When I went to look at glasses, the frames were insanely expensive, so I took my prescription to another place. I had the glasses made, gave the adjustment period a go (2 weeks), and I had splitting headaches and everything was blurry throughout and after the adjustment period.Fool me twice: I went back to correct my prescription and insisted that I didnt want a prism. Dr. Cole looked at my eyes again and reduced the prism but still kept it. I started asking questions about the prism and power of my prescription and I was talked down to. Its not more powerful or less powerful, its just a little different. Whatever. Submitted the new prescription to get glasses remade, and the glasses end up a little better: only minor headaches but things were still blurry.Fool me thrice: no thanks. Wont go back to this place. So long. Ive wasted enough of my money and time already. In thirty years, Ive never had to get my prescription adjusted after the initial annual checkup, let alone two times! Now, Im out a couple hundred dollars for the messed up glasses, and another couple hundred for the new check up and glasses I will be getting soon.

My family and I moved to the area about 5 years ago, shortly after we found Cottage Grove Eye Care Clinic... and we LOVE it!! It is a completely professional atmosphere with top of the line products and service. I get text message reminders when my contacts are ready and being a busy mom, this really helps. They treat you like family, and get it right the first time. Your missing out if your not letting them serve you and yours!!

Ive been seeing Dr. Cole since I was 13, Im 28 now, and hes been awesome. He knows about my weird eyeballs and takes good care of them. I would recommend Dr. Cole, hes awesome and very cool and kind.

I had my eyes evaluated (first time in 4 years). I could afford the frames that I liked. Amber wrote down the name of the frames and the dimensions for me to take home. I ended up purchasing my glasses online. Once I received them my eyes could not focus. I did not know if I received the wrong prescription, I entered the Rx wrong, or if they manufactured my lenses incorrectly. I called Cottage Grove Eye Care Clinic to ask some questions. I thought that I would get some shame for not getting my lenses/frames with them. Amber was AMAZING! She offered some advice then offered for me to come in. She checked what I ordered, chechecked my Rx, and she checked my lenses. She was so incredibly helpful! I will continue with that clinic just because of her!

We had just moved to Cottage Grove a few months ago and I had not taken the time to find a new eye doctor yet. When I tore my last pair of contacts, I needed to get in somewhere immediately. Not only were they extremely accommodating, they also accepted Tricare (which many places do not). Jenn was very helpful and even called me after my initial scheduling to tell me they had a cancellation for an earlier day/time, knowing it was important I get in right away! I cannot say enough good things about the Cottage Grove office. I will be referring them to everyone I know.

We’ve been coming to Cottage Grove Eye Care Clinic for several years. I love the fact that we can typically get into an urgent same day appointment. That flexibility is nice with kids. There is also a contact number if you have an eye emergency after hours. Dr. Cole and his staff have always treated us with respect. They go above and beyond to help us find frames. Selection is somewhat limited. But between the three stores (Woodbury, Oakdale, and Cottage Grove) I have always found something great! My kids are notorious for breaking glasses, and they have always given us a one-time replacement within the first year, if needed. Ana and the front desk staff are tremendous. I have never had a bad experience here! I highly recommend Cottage Grove Eye Care Clinic for your entire family!

I am a dentist working at the same building. I get my eye care at this eye clinic and see Dr. Cole. I lost a screw on my loupes eyeglasses and I needed to start seeing patients! The nice lady that helped me was very understanding and fixed it up for me in 5 minutes and said there was no charge for it. I told her she was a lifesaver! :) I went about my day happy to have my loupes back and happy to see my patients.

I saw Dr Herde today! He and his staff are very friendly, personable, professional, and efficient. My husband also sees him and likes all of the staff especially in the Woodbury location.

My husband was charged for his PD. He did not understand that there was a charge as he was there getting a copy of his prescription and asked them to take that. How dare them charge for this. Amber wanted us to rate her on google we’ll do not do business here. Horrible customer service AMBER.

Very well ran facility, alot more helpful than the other one down the street!! The receptionist was very friendly and helpfull and Ana was helpful in deciding glasses. Ill be taking my whole family here and Im happy to have finally found my eye clinic!!

Went to get my sons prescription so I could go elsewhere. They said no they would not give it to me because it was outdated!!!! I pd for that service no matter when it happened!!! How dare they not give me records of a service I pd for!!! They are rude and I feel this should be illegal.

This place cancelled and rescheduled my appointment 5 times in 24 hrs. Then when I finally had a confirmed appointment I showed up and I wasnt in the system. No apology was given. The person who accepted the appointment must not have put it on the schedule is all that was said. My husband and I are taking our business elsewhere from now on.
