First my main gripe. The Asian hot food looks ok, but every time I order in extremely disappointed. Dont do it. This time it was so dry I could barely eat it. I ordered a two entree meal but before I could even specify the second choice my bowl was full of two portions of the same item. What? Ok, I enjoy the baked goods and the fresh stuff, but the selection of regular items is lacking. They try too hard to cater to specialty stuff. Lose the clothing and bath bombs. Maybe if I shopped more often I could find things easier but I dont because its so expensive, I end up spending so much more than a quick trip to Cub. Its a cross between Kowalskis and Whole foods.

The place is HUGE! Clean and just WOW! HOWEVER! DO NOT EXPECT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I walked around store twice and NOT ONE EMPLOYEE SAID BOO! To me or anyone else!!! They have a Wahlburgers there which I waited 8 min to order and no one came took my order!!! I WAS ONLY PERSON IN LINE!!! I could see them BSing in back(bar area) I guess it is a GET YOUR STUFF AND GET OUT type of store!! I would rather go where there is GOOD CARING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Lots of fresh produce. Hot deli item selection is second to none. Grocery item are well stocked and in multiple sizes, but the prices are not as competitive as Cub or Walmart.There really isn’t much you can’t find in this store.

Lots of construction going on inside this HyVee that I found annoyingly loud. I find the prices in HyVee much higher than Walmart or Aldi but they do have a much bigger and better selection of specialty foods. Great bakery with beautiful baked goods, cakes, pies and artisanal breads. Large selection of specialty cheeses and cold its.

This Hy-Vee was very clean and well organized. First time coming in here and its awesome to see many different types of restaurants inside. All the aisles were clean and all the items were super organized and clean. Employees are nice and helpful. Check out was quick. Parking is easy. The liquor store is easy to enter as well. Overall, a great place to buy groceries and grab something quick to eat.

We used Hyvee for both our wedding desserts and flowers and were so pleased with how everything turned out on our wedding day! Both were so affordable compared to other quotes we received. We would highly recommend using Hyvee for your wedding or other events where catering or floral is needed!!The bakery team was so helpful in creating our dessert bar with various cupcakes, cookies and bars. They were pretty much willing to make whatever we wanted and found a delicious recipe for some raspberry crumble bars. We went a little overboard on desserts and had three/person at our reception, but there sure were not many leftovers! We also received tons of compliments.Amy in the floral department was great to work with! We live out of state, so we did everything over the phone and email - she was so easy to work with and was helpful in providing recommendations to keep things within our budget. I absolutely loved my bridal bouquet and the arrangements that she did on the arch for our ceremony.

The deli is an amazing experience. It is like multiple restaurants under one roof

I love Hyvee. This is a little smaller store than other Hyvees I have been to. They dont carry everything I am always looking for but it is not a terribly busy store so the shelves are always stocked.

Best store ever, its all the super stores in one, they have food courts around the perimeter of the grocery store inside, the one in new hope I think it is, has a walbugers attached to it.

The staff were extremely helpful and polite. It was very busy there and there were a lot of people working and shopping. The store was very clean. There food Is extremely good but there prices are more expensive. My favorite part was they sell shoes and clothes plus all kinds of other things that one wouldnt expect to see at a grocery store. I purchased 2 pairs of tennis shoes that were on clearance. Puma reg price 68.99 sale price 25.00 keds reg price 59.00 sale price 20.00I have a visually impaired teenager that bumped into several people cuz he chooses to hold onto the cart or chain himself to it.. Lol and he folds his cane up so no one can tell that he is unable to see but everyone was so nice.. I will definitely be returning there in the near future.

The store is a maze it’s too complex if you’re looking for any one item it can be in three different places.Everyday a new trip hazard. I don’t know how they get away with storing food on the floor and creating trip hazards constantly. Where’s OSHA?

This is a decent and very busy location.The customer service is good and the store is clean. Deli and butcher shop foods were fresh. Nothing to complain about here.As far as grocery stores go though, in not a fan of Hy-Vee. I dont like the premium that comes with shopping there and an not a fan of the store layout.

Loved it! As always. My favorite grocery store ever. Its rare that I dont find everything I need when shopping at HyVee. And breakfasts are great in the Grille at the Cottage Grove store.

HyVee is my favorite grocery store. They have an excellent selection of products that range from basics to gourmet choices. I like their great sales, which in my experience more than offset the occasional items priced higher than their competitors. The customer service here is wonderful too.

First time visiting this store and the Service Center was down. Cashier was nice enough to direct to another store and apologized for the inconvenience. That was really nice.

Great place to shop for just about anything you may need... Clean store, meats separate..many selections! Definitely a good shopping experience! Will be back!

I usually go for their Hot Deals. Definitely more pricey than Walmart, so I dont buy all my regular groceries there.

Its Hy-Vee. Ive yet to be disappointed with a shopping trip here. With one exception, if a non-specialty item is in stock anywhere within 10 miles, Ive seen it on their shelves here. I especially love Hy-Vee because I live so close I can walk there.

I rated this only four stars because I asked for assistance and was given a quick answer which was wrong. Otherwise nice store. Way to many fast-food places for my taste.

I love Hyvee and their abundance of offerings, but wish there was adequate staffing at all service stations in the food court area. I drove to Hyvee today for a smoothie as they have great prices for a quick lunch, I looked up the smoothie bar hours ahead of time as other times I have been there they appear closed. I sat in front of the smoothie bar for about 5 minutes with no employee at the service station- there was no indication that it was closed as the signs were still on but I couldn’t get served. There were many other employees in the area that saw me waiting but didn’t call the appropriate staff to come service me. I understand if that station may not be as lucrative as the others and it may not be worth it to keep an employee there at all times, but please make that known in the posted hours or even just place a closed sign or offer a bell to ring. No one noticed that I was waiting so long and I was really disappointed as I left. Hyvee customer service is usually fantastic but not today.

New store manager, Dee is awesome. Store is clean, well stocked with variety and staff is helpful and friendly.

COVID restrictions: masks were not required for customers and i only saw one employee with a mask. There are plastic barriers between the check out lines and food samples.Checkout person was poor with customer service and took away our coupon when it still had 3 uses out of it, and when they gave it back they cut too much off of the coupon.

I love this HyVee because they have high quality vegetables, gluten free, low carbs foods and even great bath bombs and personal care products Im looking for. Yes most grocery stores have these things but they have very specific items I can eat on my diet (Ive lost 85 lbs) that I cant find at Cub, Walmart or Target.

Nice deals after eating at Walhburgers one thing I really appreciate if they could post prices and location of items better.

We are regular members at the Hy-Vee Pharmacy and always make a point of shopping for new things when there. Very friendly staff and makes for a good shopping experience.

I was there to accompany a friend getting her 2nd virus vaccine. I did some shopping and 2 people without masks were boldly walking around, one was whistling away even at the cash register. Nothing was said. A pop guy was unloading his pallet and left no room, didnt move for anyone coming past him. I thought your store was awesome at first. I prefer Rochester

Just had my 2nd bad experience at the Cottage Grove HyVee grocery store. When the store first opened, it was open 24hrs/day. I had went to the bakery shortly after 5am to get donuts for my co-workers. I could see a rack of donuts sitting on trays in the bakery and asked the gal behind the counter if I could purchase some. The gal said that the store doesnt open until 6am. I explained that the sign on the front door says you are open 24hrs/day. She rudely said I was wrong and didnt believe me until another employee intervened and explained to her that they were a 24hr store.Since then, hours were changed to 5am till midnight. I stopped there this morning before work at 5:10am and all of the doors were locked. I called the store and asked when they were opening their doors. The gal on the phone said 6am. I mentioned that the sign on the door says you open at 5am, and your Google hours say the same thing. She asked what door I was at. I explained that all 3 front doors say the same thing. She said she would try to find someone to open the door. I waited another 10 minutes watching several employees walk by the front door but nobody came. HyVee, you just lost a customer for life. Im a Cub Foods guy from now on. Ill drive a few miles out of the way for some consistency.

Ive always said that Hy-Vee was fancy, but I think theyre really taking it up a notch. If you ever need lunch or looking for shoes, this place has them both!

Sad to say... but very limited name brand foods.

Produce selection is hit or miss. They are constantly moving stuff around witch makes it hard to find things when youre in a hurry. Picked up strawberries only to get home and realize they were moldy! Not worth my time to go back.

Always enjoy stopping here. A bit more expensive than other groceries but then they offer much more as well

Bad experience! My family was love this store. We decided to buy my father’s birthday cake here. I had a 8 inch birthday cake with flowers on the top. But we were so upset when we get home to open the cake box. The cake is taller than the box and all flowers was mess up... how sad is it! Make sure check your cake fit in the box before you check out.

I love to grocery shop here, there is a wonderful selection of foods from fresh produce to high quality seafood and meats.The store is organized pretty well and doesn’t change around to much, so even me and my husband alike are able to find our way around!I thoroughly enjoy shopping here and have had pretty positive experiences with staff. I would recommend Hy-Vee to Cottage Grove shoppers.

1pm frozen products left out in isles to thaw, smashed and damaged. There was a single employee I found in the entire cooled section working, but each isle had something seemingly waiting for that one person. When location first opened, employees where smiling and helpful. Now most seem annoyed youre there.

Hy-Vee is always a great place to shop. They have just about everything you could normally want and more.

I only go for the donuts nothing else. Their donuts are very good.

HyVee started out as 5 star gorcery experience with restaurant and Cottage Grove. We went there once a week, we took our grandchildren there, we recommended it to friends sand family and took our out of town guests there. Since changing the restaurant to a high-end fast-food burger joint and the covid pandemic, its become a rather depressing to go there. Miss the old Market Grill especially.

They have great selection of high quality products you wont find elsewhere! Also great gluten-free options. I love to buy the bath bombs for gifts too. Fresh produce and also fresh deli meat. Take out food choices are fantastic too. Great take out sales and the sushi is fantastic!

This is in regards to HyVee meal time, went there this morning for breakfast, took our server 20 minutes to come back and order our food after we got our drinks, then took another 40 to 50 minutes for the food to even show up at our table, and then some more time to get the check which they gave us a 10% discount which seems miniscule for the amount of time that we had to wait. We do not plan on returning as we feel as though we were almost completely ignored by staff.

Since the store opened it was has gradually lost it luster. Just another grocery store.

Great dinner options, restaurant, and grocery pick up service. Oh, and the bakery is cheap and delicious with specialty cakes for really affordable prices.

The store is very clean and nicely set up. I was able to find what I needed quickly. The one item that I was not able to find a staff worker asked if I needed help and showed me where to find it. The set up is VERY nicely done. It has a small store feel but I was able to easily able to move around and find what I wanted. The building is clean and the staff was welcoming and friendly. Parking is done great too. There was more than enough spaces to park.

Its the best HyVee ever. The employees are the best. Thats my story for all the years Ive lived in Farmington MN. It got us through this pandemic like there wasnt one. Always clean always professional. Give it a visit. See for yourself.

The cottage Grove and apple valley south of there offers the long island deli. Meat comes in from new York. You can have them cut meat like sandwiches weight out to buy like that.

Ordered our thanksgiving meal from them and they were very busy when I arrived but everyone was so friendly and helpful. I was so impressed with the organization and friendliness of the staff it was refreshing! I always appreciate the customer service here.

Fantastic store. Was in this time because of an ailing parent. Pharmacist was extremely busy but made time for me. Gave me direction on some personal care items and what to avoid. I dont live in the area any more, but come here most times when visiting. Very helpful staff that walked me directly to every item I couldnt find. Ill be back!

HyVee is a little more expensive than some other grocery stores, but the variety and high quality of the products, like produce and meat and the specialty shops make it more than worth it! I love HyVee!

Got a pre-made Cesar salad at the gas station...there was no dressing included and they dont have any Cesar dressing for sale in the store, they werent just Out.Its never for sale!The dressing is what makes it a Cesar salad. All the rest of the ingredients were there and it would have been a good salad, had there been dressing. But instead, I ate a dry bunch of leaves and croutons and cheese.How has nobody brought this to their attention yet? Actually, how did the management approve such a thing??
