So if you have not heard or yet had the Drumstick blizzard well. Yah need to. I described to someone its like when you take the last bite of the bottom of a Drumstick icecream cone and you have that perfect mix of waffle cone, chocolate, and ice cream...yeah that is what every bite is like. I get a small since its very rich and ask for small cup of water for after! Also they made perfect each time.

For such a small location they have all the specialty treats, delicious good, and the employees are always beyond happy and helpful. You can also order custom cakes to be picked up here. Love the CG location

So nice to have the summer blizzard treats back! Ordered the drumstick blizzard and enjoyed every bite. The ratio of ice cream to fixings/toppings was amazing. Super impressed by the speed of the drive thru! Dont let the long line fool you. We timed ourselves with someone standing in line. As we were pulling away, the person in line was still a couple people away from window.

The staff was not wearing masks when i went through the drive thru. That is dangerous especially since they are speaking with customers and handling food!

Ive always been happy with the friendly service here and would give it more stars if not for agreeing with another reviewer here about the Blizzard ingredients. When I go to the Woodbury DQ, I always have the proper amount of flavoring/mix-ins. When I get certain Blizzards at this location, the color is basically white with very little flavor, so theyre short changing on the amount of ingredients.

Can always rely on dairy queen for a good treat. Polite staff and havent had to wait very long like at other locations.

The service here will leave you chilled.Not far off the the highway, this location only offers ice cream treats with a few hot options. Service is drive thru and eat outside only. Due to Covid-19, the outdoor seating is currently unavailable at the time of this posting.Our first experience stopping here was interesting. Using the drive-thru, the cashier typed in Diet Coke in stead of root beer, but the issue was quickly resolved at the window. We then proceeded to then drive home with our food, only to find that our order of 2 grilled chicken combos had been unexpectedly upgraded to 3. Not complaining about the free food, but we will definitely think twice before stopping here again.

It was close to closing time and a storm was coming in, they maintained a calm and friendly attitude. Given that these are teens in todays society, I think the management shoukd be very proud of their staff Sunday night.

We enjoy Dairy Queen in Cottage Grove several times per week and have been for many years, it would be nice if they had some perks for the regulars, even if its every 10th or 15th quart buy one get one, I get 4 to 10 quarts of soft serve per week, over 100 of them this summer, that should get something i think

I’m actually pretty dang impressed with the service here being that the workers are usually really young (sorry youngins).... but they are always nice and friendly!

During the summer, this place is completely packed with sport teams, dance teams, teenagers,hardly any families at all. This is pretty much the only place you can get ice cream in Cottage Grove. Some restaurants do serve ice cream, but this is the only place that mainly serves ice cream. The ice cream served tastes ok or good, but I liked it a few years ago, when there was purely families here. Believe me, if you want to bring the family here, expect feeling extremely awkward. The seating is extremely small, only 5 tables, almost like they are unaware how popular this place is. This place is all outdoors. I’ll probably go to caribou coffee.

Great frozen treats. Always fast service and polite staff. I happened to try a sandwich this time. I ordered a chicken bacon ranch sandwich amd I could barely chew it. The meat was so tough i could not it eat it. Had to throw half of it away.

I love this Dairy Queen. It is owned and operated by a lovely family and they are always very kind when I go there. Love the Crunch cones-with extra crunch and the Blue Raspberry Artic Rush Floats. They are the best!

My daughter and I both got free cones that day, and so did many others. Shame on you for posting that.Also, this DQ use to have an indoor eat in area, but nobody ever used it, the patio area is used more!

There is outside sitting here but nothing on the inside, staff did a great job of quickly identifying the outside and asking what I would like. They did a great job of quickly making the food and presenting it to us everything tasted great

This is one of few locations that know how to make the Mud Pie blizzard, which has been my all time favorite since I was little. They always put plenty of toppings throughout the entire blizzard and are never skimpy, unlike many other Dairy Queen locations. I have nothing but good things to say about them! The drive-thru can be a pain to get through with your car, especially when its busy. But thats not their fault! And I can only assume its so busy because everyone knows theyre a great DQ to go to.

Try the cherry dipped ice cream cone. They are actually pretty good.

So skimpy on candy in blizzards. I think I had 4 m&ms crushed up in mine. This is a problem everytime I go to this location. Sometimes I even go out of my way to go to Hastings or Woodbury but for some reason I keep giving them another chance only to be disappointed again.

Apparently for a $4 “sundae”, DQ charges for whipped cream and nuts. Why am I paying $4 for something that doesn’t come with the standard sundae toppings?? A sundae by definition is ice cream with a topping such as hot fudge or strawberries, and WHIPPED CREAM AND NUTS. what DQ serves is just soft serve with a topping. Extremely disappointed. The employees are rude too....

Orange Creamscile was a wow! Missed the free DQ by a day but when you want your mom to have a treat, you make it happen.

Very disappointed - they no longer have the sugar free fudge bars. As a diabetic this was one treat I could enjoy occasionally.

Young staff was very friendly but the supervisor/manager on duty was super rude and disrespectful. I ordered an extra large blizzard and paid for extra toppings when I got my blizzard in the Drive-Thru window the ice cream was still White so I asked very politely if extra toppings were added I was told by the kind young staff at the window that she would check and she would get extra toppings put in it for me then the supervisor came up to the window and said that she already put extra toppings in there and if I wanted more that I would have to pay more which I had already paid extra for I still politely responded that my ice cream was white and usually when I order extra toppings my ice cream is Pink she still felt the need to really argue with me tell me that I was wrong and demand more money on top of the $20 that I already spent there for extra toppings so instead of saying the customer is always right and adding the extra squirt of toppings to make the customer happy I will never return to the Cottage Grove Dairy Queen ever again for the rudeness disrespectfulness of the way I was treated there. Which I live in Cottage Grove and I would rather drive to Woodbury or Stillwater to get Dairy Queen then go to that Cottage Grove Dairy Queen ever again
