Fantastic selection of all foods Italian. You will pay a little more for their ample and bountiful selection - its not like the Italian section of Shoprite - but worth it for those items you just cant get elsewhere. My wife is particular about her canned tomatoes for lasagna and this is the spot to get them.

Food is delicious. Besides the amazing ravioli, you can find all kinds of Italian specialty items. The bakery is very good too!

We went a little crazy on our first visit...unbelievably good food!We ordered Ravioli, meat sauce, eggplant parmeasean, chicken parmeasean, and lasagna. I have been searching long for good fried eggplant and ravioli. I neighbor recommended Pastosa. Ive stocked up twice, and I have to say, their eggplant and ravioli are excellent; the best Ive had. I havent yet had the opportunity to try their other prepared foods, but I highly recommend them based on what Ive had so far!

Im so happy I found this place and its close to home. They have a very large variety of foods to choose from. Ravioli, cheeses, meats, sauces, cold cuts, subs, hot foods, fresh bread omg theres too much to list lol. The store is well organized and very clean, theres also lots of customer service and always someone willing to help. Definitely a place I will revisit again. We bought the American Combo, a roast beef and mozz sandwich, fresh mozz knots (which are very soft and flavored well), and prosciutto di parma.

Love coming here! I have not had one bad dish here. Lasagna is amazing. The take home sauces, home made pastas and hot dishes… all delish. Meatball grinders… delish. Fresh bread is also a plus

In the course of 50 years of Marriage everyone will experience the very best and the very worst in food preparation. Due to the present Corona virus I was unable to secure a restaurant to accommodate our party of 15. I turned to Margaret from Pastosa Ravioli and arranged a catering menu delivery.Everything on the menu was very good. This time something that has never happened before took place. Every person attending singled out one item they thought was exceptionally good . 100% opted for SlicedRib eye steak with mushrooms. So thank you Margaret and staff for a most successful Anniversary dinner.

They love kids. My daughter loves to pick things out there. The desserts are awesome. The cannoli cream is on point! You can even buy it in a container with no shell if you have issues with gluten.

Was lucky enough to discover this place by accident just driving by and they had me at Fresh Mozzarella. What doesnt this place have? Everything is fresh, homemade old school Italian. Everything is so good. Didnt know which way to turn, one isle was better than the next. Filled my bag with as much as possible from garlic bread to eggplant parm heat and eat. Clean and super friendly staff, I will be back again the next time in Cranford.

This is my family’s go to spot for Italian bread. Although I am not a fan of the beef raviolis I have true favorites. The stuffed mushrooms, meatballs, breadsticks and genoa salami are on my weekly shopping trips when I am picking up our bread.

Well the store has a large selection of Italian pastas and sauces and a small bakery which has some excellent cheesecake, heres the problem we had.We asked for half a pound of vodka pasta. When the guy weighed it he said oh its way over a half a pound. In any store we have ever been in and thats many many stores they simply go back and scoop off the excess if its over by enough and it was way way over!We didnt notice till after we paid that he had over 1 lb of pasta in that container. When you ask for half a pound its acceptable to get a little bit over maybe .6 or .7 of a pound at the very most. But the weight of this container was over 1 lb. We bought several other items and didnt notice but events like this will make us not want to come back. Management should really talk to their people at the counter to understand that when people ask for a specific weight they need to be accurate.It is unacceptable to give someone more than twice the amount they want especially when you notice your mistake and dont fix it!Nobody wants to be that person that has to double check somebody elses work especially when youre the customer and its not your job to do so but bad employees like this are the reason we will in the future.I hope management takes the time to realize this and check with their employees to make sure theyre doing their jobs correctly next time for other customers than us.For anyone that shops here make sure you check your weights before you leave the counter.#Overweight #incorrectweight #overcharge #lazyemployee #pasta #vodka pasta #Italianfood #cranford

Pastoral Ravioli is an amazing store and gem in Cranford! Everything in homemade and made fresh that day. They have freshly made salads, entries (hot and cold) and their homemade Mozzarella is out of this world!If you havent tried this store you have truly missed out! Just be warned, once you have tried their offerings, you will hooked for life!

Wonderful Italian food. The pepper steak is the best I have ever had. It is made with large pieces of delicious steaks. The deli counter has everything from fresh made salads, main entrees to fresh meats and of course ravioli to take home. They have fresh breads and many different packaged cookies. The staff is always very friendly. I highly recommend Pastosa.

My blessed purveyors of Fiuggi water. The experience felt a little rushed with a line outside due to the pandemic but thats to be expected. Right now, its better to know what you need in advance because it seems like browsing is frowned upon right now.

Had the raviolis and manicotti along with there homemade sauce all week very good - bought a side of pre cooked meatballs which were about the size of a baseball - warmed them up on the sauce - got a loaf of bread, which was still warm - while paying them came out with more hot bread cant beat that for fresh - all that along with some red wine made for a very nice dinner -

I did order catering from Pastosa in Cranford for my daughter graduation party. Food was really good, I got a lot of compliments for tasty meal. It was little bit of issue when I was ordering my food but next day I called and I did talk to owner Anthony about what happened and let me tell you. Owner is amazing, he really did his job and did take care of the business. I was really happy and definitely recommend this place for catering and definitely going for great food there.

This sub used to be worth. 13 bucks. Never knew fresh mozzarella was cut paper thin and the bread shrunk. Lesson learned.

Great place for Italian foods. Awesome selection of meats and cheeses, and all the things youd expect. The raviolis are delicious. The Speck was cut super thin and melts in your mouth. I cant always find it, so I was pleasantly surprised they had it. Dont drive by this place.

I used to frequent this store when they were in Brooklyn. Their fresh ravioli is just that. Never have I tasted ravioli and pasta like this. So fresh. Since coming to Clark, its so much more convenient for me now. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and makes you feel like your at your familys house. If its not on their menu, it can still be made. So go and experience pastosas. You WILL NOT BE SORRY YOU DID.

Excellent, fresh pasta. It seems a bit pricey, but I dont shop at Italian grocers often, so maybe this is par for the course. They have fresh and packaged pasta, a deli, and prepared food. If you dont buy anything, its nice to even just walk around. There is no dedicated parking lot so you will have to settle for street parking.

I am originally from Brooklyn. When I first moved to Jersey all I wanted was a good deli, along with some good italian bread. I drove by Pastosa about 5 years later. I was super happy. I use to go to the location in Staten Island often to get my cold cuts, sauce, ravioli ans bread. Now so happy I just drive 15 minutes and I can get fresh items.

Pros: Delicious Italian food, available as ready made or make at home. Everything we had was nice, high quality and fresh. Cons: Quite pricey. Always packed on the weekend! Checkout area is not very well though out, and it creates a lot of confusion with shoppers.
