Went to buy a Fitbit today and decided to walk in and shop instead of ordering online and picking up. The person at the door puts your name on a list if youre going to need help, which I did because the watches were in a locked cabinet. I waited about 5 minutes for someone to come help me out. Not bad at all considering I was expecting a much longer wait. Unfortunately the sales person who showed up was completing uninterested in being helpful. He barely spoke to me and the only help he provided was opening the cabinet and getting the box out. No customer service skills at all. The individual at the register however was very personable and helpful. Great employee and customer service experience. Overall I would avoid going in the store for now. Easier to just order online and do curbside pickup. There werent many obvious hand sanitizer dispensers available - ar least that I saw and the registers werent sanitized after each customer like other stores that Ive shopped in.
Well I bought computer a year ago from there preowned section and when I came back to have the keyboard fixed they told me that I had the wrong pc. In their system i had a less powerful model, when in fact because of associate mistake the wrong laptop was put out and sold to me.... when I asked who was the person that sold it to me they couldnt look it up in the system (Probably lying trying to save them from a complete curse out). So reluctantly I had to trade my awesome laptop in for store credit and get a less awesome one. 😒 I got a free weeks to check out this laptop and return it if I dont like it so ... heres hoping it was a blessing in Disguise.
I went today to get at least a 55inch tv and possibly a dryer. The nice employee at the door asked if I needed assistance in the store to which I said yes. He said someone would meet me in the television section. After walking around 10 minutes, no one showed. The store wasnt busy and employees were in the aisles joking with each other. So I moved on to the appliance section and again no assistance. Needless to say, I left empty handed. Fortunately, Walmart sells TVs and the staff there assisted me immediately and helped me put my new 55inch tv in the car. As for the dryer, Home Depot had a nice selection.....sleeping on it and probably returning tomorrow for my dryer. I wont be going to the Crestwood Best Buy again. Funny thing is, I rated them 4 stars several months ago. I guess those employees no longer work there.
I bought a Switch game online from Best Buy recently. There was minor damage and the packaging also didnt include special features. WIll they offer a refund? No. Store credit at least? No. I went to my Crestwood location and they just told me there is nothing they can do because Best Buy wont allow returns for video games under any circumstances—or so their manager says. So, if the plastic seal has been removed, youre screwed. Im boycotting Best Buy for this.
I called to make an appointment to walk with a salesperson, on hold for more than 5 minutes. Prompts arent specific. Consider each store having their own phone service with a live person. Personal touch is much better.
Its great that they are closing. If anything, they were a disservice. Such rude employees and best buys policies were some of the worst in the industry especially when it came to warranties.
Maintaining a 14 day return policy during this pandemic left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I will take my small business expenses to an online competitor. Give it time and all will do the same - Corporate has already downsized this location once.
I purchased a tablet and I had to have it replaced. The manager was very helpful with the replacement. It was an easy transaction and his customer service skills are exceptional!
Bought a LG soundbar for only $149.99. Everyone was helpful. Asked a lot of associates a lot of questions and they all gave me insightful information.

Stopped as I walked in the door to ask what I was looking for. I told him I wanted an Ipad pencil. He asked my name, told me where to go. I went straight back to the Apple section, was met by an employee who greeted me by name and he explained the difference between the 2 versions. Got me rang out and out of the door in less than 15 minutes.
Worst store ever. Lied on a tag about a price of the headphones then it was missing a charger and it took the staff a whole hour for everything.
Unfortunately sign was posted that stated store will be closing 31 October 2020. Sorry to see you go Best Buy 😔

I’ve been to this location two days in a row. This use to be a nice place to shop. On both my trips I could not find anyone to assist me with finding products or answering questions. There was barely any customers and yet the first three employees I saw near the entrance were standing around talking and couldn’t be bothered to actually show me where I needed to go, one of them just pointed towards the back and said “it would be over there.” I needed an adapter to connect cables for a second monitor. When I finally found an employee to help me he told me I needed to buy more than one item to connect the screen. These items would have cost $50 at which point I wanted to just buy a newer monitor that came with compatible cables and was told the only monitor they had was $300. I went next door to OfficeMax and found the one $15 item I needed to get the job done and it only took me ten minutes.A month before this I also couldn’t find anyone to assist me. I stood around for 15 minutes before I even saw an available employee. When I asked if the item I was looking for could be located anywhere else he said no. He walked away and I accidentally found the item myself two aisles over. He should have been able to point those out. I then waited another 15 minutes to find an employee who had a key to take the item out, this employee was visibly annoyed that he had to take 2 minutes out of his day to open the case. The employee barely said a work and didn’t smile once.I work retail and I honestly don’t understand how this kind of customer service is acceptable at this store.Their standards have clearly dropped.

The boys at best buy helped me pick the right charger for my sons chromebook. He couldnt find his at school. We have e learning all week and desperately needed one. Thanks so much for helping

Was looking for a new washer and dryer. Savomna was very helpful! If she did not know the answer to something she found it out. Prices were good and I was told they price match if found somewhere cheaper. Large selection!
If I could give them a 0, I would. Theres no signage specifying where theyd like for you to park for the curbside pickup. You can call the store but you wont get an answer. To top it off, the young lady just hands me the item, no bag. Terrible.
The cell phone salesman William epitomized optimal customer service. I came in with a phone malfunction purchased at the store two weeks prior. Although he wasnt able to resolve the issue, he worked tirelessly to find answers. He was both patient and knowledgeable.
Still a great place to go for good deals and good service.
There price match is Bs. Went there to price match a washer and dryer we got from a competitor. Had the receipt on my phone .The competitor was $800 less and the manager basically had every excuse Not to match it. There price match is False advertising. The only reason is the appliance is on backorder, so I guess I will be waiting for my appliances from my original purchase.Shop online, do your research! You will get a way better deal then any of the big box competition.
Went to buy a TV and sound system was informed about what i needed and answered all questions I had. This was the most recent purchase I have never had any problems with this best buy and will continue come here time and time again.

Went in the store with the intentions to buy a tablet and a hard drive and was not once even greeted by an employee. Waited a good hour looking at the product and saw employees near by and not one offered any assistance. For such slow foot traffic for a Tuesday afternoon that kind of service is unacceptable. Very disappointed.
Curbside pickup is nonexistent at this store. Nowhere to park and not to mention when you check in no one comes to give you the item. My wife was sitting in the car with our baby and couldn’t go in. I tried calling sat on hold for 10 minutes and finally left after waiting for 20 minutes and changed it to shipping.
Great store in many ways except whats the issue with displaying headphones for trying out that do not work on the display. I never understood this... Nice people working there.
If I could be on a commercial for the Geek Squad at this Best Buy, I would gladly be in it! They are the BEST! For the past couple of years after I had purchased my computer, they have always gone out of their way to provide excellent service and have been courteous, efficient, and patient whenever Ive had questions. Most of the employees I have had dealings with have all been very helpful. I will continue to be a Best Buy/Geek Squad fan! Thanks to Chris who repaired my computer for going the extra mile!
Best Buy is a good store. This particular location is nice but most often it can get very crowded and customer customer service is sometimes delayed. Nonetheless, it’s still a great place. I still enjoy shopping here.

Went to buy a laptop and there were limited customer service reps available to assist us. When someone finally came over, he was very helpful which made up for the wait time.
I bought my Mac book from here. Customer service was great. The guy was very attentive to my needs. They didn’t have what I needed at the location I was at so he suggested I pick it up at another location which I agreed. Everything turned out well
I love this location, but totally hate how the employees are all over you as soon as you walk in the door. Every time I come here I get approached by 4 different employees within 2 minutes of walking in... For a company that claims they dont pay commission to their employees... It definitely seems like they do! At least I know that if I ever need help I wont have a hard time getting it. Every time I come here to browse me and my husband play a game to guess how many employees will ask us if we need help lol

Terrible service had no idea how bad it was until I try to call and find out if they had a computer cord that I need. This is absolutely un excusable, nobody would answer the phone I drove 15 minutes and it kept ringing and ringing you guys need to fix this problem. I consider additional bad service when your employees can’t pick up the phone.
My credit card was stolen, and used at this location. i have the exact, time date & amount, and no one from this store will help or get back to me... cant believe theyd let someone do such a big purchase like that with out even asking for ID

Typical bestbuy store but some of the employees go above and beyond. Im mad that Ive forgotten the gentlemans name, but he made my day great just by asking if I needed help in the manner he did. They seem to have everything in stock here. I just wish the computer Section had a better collection.

This is for bestbuy.com. Worst experience Ive ever had purchasing an appliance - Best Buy.Purchased new fridge on may 22nd. Scheduled delivery may 28th. Driver told me he doesnt hook up to existing water line so he left my house with my new fridge. ??He could have left the fridge but did not. Had a terrible attitude and I personally believe he just wanted an early day.Rescheduled for June 11th. Never showed and no phone call. Thanks Best Buy.On June 12th I finally made contact with a Best Buy human. Horace told me only the install was scheduled for June 11th, not the delivery.HOW DO YOU INSTALL AN APPLIANCE YOU DIDNT DELIVER TO THE ADDRESS?Re-re-re-scheduled for June 16th. Lets see what happens. Im not confident at this point.This will be my last Appliance purchased from Best Buy that relies on delivery. There are too many options for companys that want to provide quality and professionalism.I called to verify the delivery on June 16th and once again Best Buy had the install scheduled for June 15 and delivery June 16th. You have to work hard to be this incompetent.I do not recommend purchasing from bestbuy.com

Unlike other stores where you are constantly harassed they gave us great advice and both were very informative, patience and provided great customer service an! Hoping management read this review!!
THEY ARE THERE TO PROVIDE GREAT SERVICE
Sells overprice electronics that dont work. They check employees temperature before they start work. They make you run back to store for returns. They dont open up until 10. They offend you with their demeanor and hiring practices.
I always feel like a little kid when I walk into s best buy. They usually have what I want, however remember that you will probably pay a little higher than you wanted and you will tend to get a bit persuaded to get other items. I totally understand that its their job to sell, but at this location I felt a bit more harrassed
This Best Buy continually exceeds my expectations. The associates on the sales floor along with the associates in customer service allow me to have a great experience. Special shoutout to Alex in the Apple Department for helping me find the right laptop for me. Everything was crystal clear and he was very happy to help.
I was disappointed. Not a lot of inventory or variety. It looks like they are getting ready to shut it down. On the flip side all the staff and floor people were enthusiastic and helpful!

Stay away from Best Buy...purchased a pair of beats headphones for my son on 10/26/16. The headphones became defective as the right ear bud started cracking and a piece from inside the ear bud fell off. Took it back 17 days later to exchange for another one only to be turned away as Best Buy only approves returns within 15 days. I might have been able to return them within that time frame, but I was away on business and couldnt cancel my important meeting to make that special trip into the store. The manager seem disinterested in even hearing my concern. All he said was I needed to contact Apple. Does Best NOT stand behind the product they sell??? Do they not care about customers anymore??? All I know is that I could have purchased the same product from Amazon, get it VERY quickly with free shipping via Amazon Prime and return with no problem! Best Buy, you will quickly end up like Circuit City if you dont change your ways and start caring for your customers like you did in the past. To make matters worse, I called their customer care number, and they were just as rude as the manager. I got so mad, I just hung up...I also posted to review on their website 7 days ago and they chose not to publish it...

I preordered an item on 1-2-20 to be picked up at the Crestwood Best Buy on 3-1-20. I received an email that my item wouldnt be released until 5-1-20 due to a manufacturer delay. Ok...not Best Buys fault. I called customer service to confirm the 5-1 date and they assured me it will be there. I received an email in April stating that the item would not be available in for pick up in Crestwood after all and they had CANCELLED my order!!! When I called the Crestwood store they did not answer despite being open. When I called the customer service # they said sorry but they ran out of this item. Ran out of an item I ordered in January??? Now it is unavailable anywhere and Im out of luck. I never even received a valid explanation on why this was just cancelled. I will no longer preorder anything through Best Buy due to the poor way this was handled. I trusted Best Buy and was completely disappointed...they did nothing to help me or rectify this in any way. I couldve chosen Amazon instead but wanted to give business to my local Best Buy. I will not make that mistake twice.

Not a fan right now. Checked price online and called store, verified price for an item. Came in and both the website and in store price went up by $200 after verifying w sales rep and manager showing them the ad on their own website! They are not able to match prices to their online store (defaulted to their store location), ummm what?!THIS is exactly why people buy items online direct from Amazon and the likes to avoid getting dicked around and then having to pay taxes on top of it all.
Adam in the car install department did a great job with installing of the new radio in my car yesterday. Definitely will be back to have more stuff installed by him and this location for helping me through the process.
The people that work at this location are great. Went there too drop Grams laptop off having a boot up problem an dealing with them at Geek Squad they checked in the laptop an within 3 hours had it fixed, called an said it was ready.

The store was practically empty, most of the shelves were cleaned out, and it looked dead inside.
Good variety of options to choose from, but make sure you know what youre looking for not much staff around to help and the ones that are arent super savvy about the products they sell.
I called ahead for product information and the young woman knew exactly what I needed. I was there in less than 10 minutes and was quickly able to pick up the cord I needed.
I was there to buy a printer. I found one and asked a employee if they had it in back. I was told I had to make an appointment. Since when do you need to make an appointment for a question. SMH
Corporate office Take a thorough look at your staff.Some should stay, some should go. Some are professional, some shoud be in the stock room away from customers, as they are decreasing your revenue.
I live in AZ and found a fraudulent transaction on my bank account with Bestbuy.com. After speaking with at customer service representative. I found out that someone in Crestwood, IL used my card illegally to create an online order. This thief used my card to call a Lyft, used this transportation, and showed up at the Crestwood store location. They were successful in picking up a 65 Smart Tv, and drove away.BestBuy policy is that their curbside/online orders REQUIRE employees to check the card used for the order (impossible as it was a stolen card sitting in AZ without my knowledge of what was occurring during the day 3 hours behind), and a license. When calling the store, it just rings. Law enforcement and all businesses have been involved. But during the WORST TIME when people are working hard just to keep their jobs. If this store & employee wouldve followed their required policy by corporate, listed all over their website, they would have found this was a fraudulent order and I would still have my money and this thief would not have got away with stealing merchandise. I am beyond disappointed in Best Buy, as well as having this hectic time of trying to get my money back and fight a thief who won.
