I was watching a video and someone was eating Filipino food and I decided to find a restaurant near me that sold Filipino food. This place came up in my Google search.. The food was very good. I had never had Filipino food before and I really enjoyed it. They also sale Mexican food as well. Which was delicious. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. The owner came out and introduced himself to me and welcomed me to the restaurant. I will be returning soon with friends and family.

Good food. Needs more variety. I went for lunch, maybe dinner has a different menu. Friendly staff. Made me feel like if I was back in the Philippines. 👍

Ive been waiting for a filipino buffet everytime we are in chicago and finally found one and its awesome! Its all I wanted for my filipino dish craving specially the Tinolang Manok. And the staff are great specially the filipino owner she is so hands-on you will definitely feel at-home with a home-cooked meal. I would definitely coming back now everytime Im in chicago

Its now a Filipino-Mexican restaurant.Excellent food! Really really good!This Lord is very very pleased!First taste of that Bulalo immediately sent me back to the Islands, Batangas in particular, where memories were made both good and bad. The Menudo they had, took me back to a time with my Grandmother when I was very young. The adobo was perfectly balanced, the conversation was good. The place was welcoming and warm. I aint tried the Mexican food they had, but from the taste of the Filipino food they have, Im sure that it would be equally flavourful and nostalgic.

Needs more variety of food. Great staff, but not a fulfilling quality of food for the place or somewhat “neat” place. I’ve scrolled down the reviews myself and I’ve constantly seen the issue of the quality of the food. It requires improvements to its taste and ingredients to make it satisfiable. I went to the place myself and it’s missing this specific aspect itself.The food was somewhat cold and wasn’t really warm in my opinion.The palabok (I believe that’s how you spell it) was really cold and it was only one of the many cold foods at their dispense in the food area. The only food that was warm was the rice and the soup, but everything else was pretty much cold or barely warm. I’ve seen multiple reviews below that the food was cold, which goes to show that the food is not maintained constantly for hot food. If the food was constantly maintained food the quality of the food would have improved, but in my 2 hour stay. They didn’t replace the food or check it if it was cold or not. The equipment should be placed in a storage facility if it could be found, so the place could be somewhat nearer/presentable. I saw dividers, plastic bags, containers of spoons/forks laying around the area like they made the area where you eat their storage facility. There was a literal storage area I could see from my seat where you could store all of hay, but they didn’t. Another element they should fix is covering the pipes/ventilation system with a ceiling, which is another point of making this place presentable. The plastic plates should be switched to glass plates if it’s planning to go turn into an actual buffet. The trays should also do the same, switch them to metal trays of food. Another suggestion is to start bringing in glasses of cups instead of letting the customers just bring in the refreshments in large “trays” filled with ice and water, which create a larger mess all over the tables.Yes, I’ve seen the reviews down below and some of you saying “but the price is reasonable.” Yes, it is reasonable, but you come to a restaurant that you’d pay your hard worked money for high-quality food. I’ve been to the Philippines myself and seen Filipino cuisines that have improved this and prospered quite drastically after making such improvements. If the place could make such improvements I’d say it’d be more prosperous in its future.

The staffs are very friendly and accommodating, nice atmosphere, authentic Filipino dishes was really delicious! I recommend this place, must try to visit and promise you will enjoy your food and their great services!

I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. when I want to go to a good meal, this place comes right away to my head. outstanding and all kinds of food and a rich cuisine.generous staff members, and good ambience. I was looking for a restaurant to introduce my husband to Filipino food. This was such a poor representation and poor quality. I felt embarrassed. I have been raving about Filipino food to him for months. About 15 minutes, thirty dollars, and a couple of belly aches later...we went home with no appetite. The food was cold, hard, bland, and uninviting.I couldn’t imagine spending $170 here for a boodle fight.

I visit this marvelous place once a month because I like the ambiance that is unique to this restaurant. The crew is extraordianrillyremarkably loving and professional. The service is impressively rapid. Also, the food they prepare is first-rate. I have been there often and I was always happy. The payment is fair. I highly suggest this place to my friends and family.

Hard to find a Filipino restaurant in the suburbs, let alone a good one. This is both. They are buffet only, but you can just carryout items off the buffet for a la carte prices. They also have karaoke if you want to dazzle people with your skills. Prices are very reasonable.

This place simply knows how to treat their customers. Always with a welcoming attitude. The food is affordably priced, regularly delicious and clean.

Im glad this Filipino restaurant is near, but the food is only ok. They have good variety in their buffet, but taste wise, its so so. Weve come here a few times and sadly service is always mediocre. Theres gotta be some improvements be put in placed, otherwise this restaurant will not last.

Not many choices of food on the buffet and all of the food was cold except for the rice. So sad I had higher expectations for this place after viewing the good reviews but now Im convinced they are written by close family or friends of the owners of the restaurant. Never coming back

Bad food, bad service. Just plain bad. Dont waste your time or money. Heard from a friend they had good food. We drove 2 hours to try it. What a joke. First off just walking in it was very dark and extremely hot. It did not seem to be air conditioned. We were not greeted polity. The food was bad, some of the chicken tasted rotten. Definitely not fresh. Food was not seasoned and did not have any flavor. We did not see our waiter after we were seated. Wont be back.

The entire visit was a great adventure! The owners, Riz and Mary Lou made our visit memorable. Riz is a great cook and karaoke master. That was my first karaoke experience. But with Rizs encouragement I finally got up there and made a complete fool of myself and loved every second of it! Mary Lou was warm and inviting. I felt as if I were in their home.

I definitely might not be the person to review this as I dont have a ton of experience with Filipino cuisine, but everything felt dried out under the heat lamps. In particular, the crispy pork was all crispy, no pork.Its alright. I wont say its terrible, but I also dont think id go back.

Bad place to go to. Food are so tasteless like pansit was cooked with too much water making it so watery rather than dry no taste and so white. Adobo is so tasteless. Sinigangs are not even sour at all but then full of oil and fats. Maybe it will be better if the kitchen will be manned by real cooks. At least Filipino cooks not just anyone that doesnt care.

The experience is definitely what you make of it: I came for carry out at lunch and they helped me choose out a good meal: 2 entrees and rice for $5.99, awesomeee! I chose chicken adobo and one Bangus, and added an order of lumpia (because why not!?). Definitely a good place to stop in and try, and continue to go to!

I loke how they serve the boodle setup, it will be on top of a jeepney cart and their system will play sounds as if like its from a local fiesta. Crispy pata is to die for!!!

Love seeing what the new owners are bringing to the table in Crestwood! I went there with my family for a cousins birthday and the waiters were very kind and quick to get drink orders as family members strolled in. The room temperature was warm throughout the establishment but I thought it made for an authentic experience to have the fans going. I think it would be dope of them to consider sliding windows for the next summer when they have more money coming in.The Kamayan Experience amongst 15 people was amazingly well put together. Their executive chef knows what hes doing cause everything was so delicious! If youre coming for the buffet, thats cool and all...but the Boodle fight is where its at! Afterwards, while digesting our food and drinking beverages to fight the meat sweats (LOL), they had an awesome stage where you can karaoke and coming from a musician, the sound system is ON POINT.Everyone in the establishment were very welcome, from the hosts to the waiters, to the other customers who were also there. It was a very relaxed atmosphere, maybe a little too casual for their décor but if youre just there for a good time, let your hair down, sing a few tunes and have a Red Horse to keep you cool!

So I waited a while to post as I feel bad for writing this review although it is honest...My wife and I came as I had a rare craving for Filipino food. Honestly, the selection just wasnt very good. The dinuguan was not that tasty and thats the big thing I like for this cuisine. There was no pancit which is fine as I hate pancit. Honestly, pancit is just eh. Its just noodles with some seasoning. There is no real flavor to it and nothing dynamic. Im part Filipino and I feel justified to rag on this dish. You want some good Filipino food look at kare kare or adobo or crispy pata. Thats good stuff.Anyways, so they didnt have much selection and the only other thing that I liked that was there was chicken adobo which was just okay. Drinks were expensive as well.What bugs me is the service. Lots of young guys walking around, but water was never refilled unless I waved someone down. If you have time to sing karaoke you have time to service your customers first.Of course Im sure the reviews from others are from people that are closer to the business as I feel Filipinos are pretty tight knit, but honestly if you havent had Filipino food before or if you have from the city like Little Quiapo or Isla Pilipina then I would recommend going elsewhere.Will I be back. No. I feel bad as I feel compelled to write this review, but hopefully they have enough family and friends within the Filipino community to patronage this business.
