Needed to have some glass packs replaced in some window sashes and stopped in with a sash. Was told right away no one there could measure the glass. Was then told to bring the sashes back the next week and the person took all my info, looked at the sash and then told her we would see them next week. Came in next week with the sashes and was told nothing in the computer about us coming in. Then was told the glass we needed they did not have on site. They did it done that day but very poor customer service. How do you own a glass shop and have nobody on site to inspect or measure and then want to blame us because nothing was put in the computer by them.

Upon my phone call to them, they immediately sent a tech to measure the window that needed replacement, and the new window arrived and was installed, I believe, in under a week. The two who did the estimate and the installer a few days later were all responsive to my questions, friendly and competent. I had first called the company Ive always previously used and they didnt know if they could get an estimator out in less than a week. Glass Doctor had someone out, I believe, the same day and the installation was complete within a very few days. I will use them again without hesitation.

I called first thing in the morning when they opened and we had a rep at our house within a half an hour to examine the picture window, Take measurements and was able to install a new window that same day. After calling 4 to 5 places in my area, Glass Doctor gave the the lowest quote for replacing my windshield. They were very professional and careful with my car. A lifetime warranty on their work and a 1 year warranty on the windshield breaking for ANY reason was included. So, the lowest price had the most protection. Nice.

This place is fantastic and I completely recommend it! I had to get my windshield replaced in November of 2019 and found this glass repair shop on google. I initially chose to come here because they give you a full one year warranty on your glass and will replace it for free if anything happens. This past week, my windshield got hit by a rock on the highway and needed to be replaced again but luckily, I was still under warranty and so it was free! I couldnt be happier that Glass Doctor of Crown Point offers this amazing deal! I needed the glass elements of two windows replaced. The glass panes had lost their vacuum.....lost their seal. Technician Tom was very careful and replaced both panes. The cost was reasonable and I have done business with Glass Doctors in the past and always recommend their services.

I just wanted to say that this company is wonderful. I called them to get a window replaced in our company car and I had it back within 1 day. The price was great and the service was awesome. I just wanted to include the wonderful woman that answered the phone, her name is Jane and she was very informative about what kind of window we needed. She also told us were to look at on the window to make sure we were getting the same window that we originally have. I also asked about a window pane that needed to be replaced in my bay window. They were also able to help me with this as well and they had the window pane replaced within 20 minutes this was awesome! It only cost $311.00 instead of $2000 to $3000 like everyone else I called. They other companies said I would have to replace the entire bay window that they couldnt replace just the broken pane, well they were wrong!! My wife and I were in need of a custom made glass enclosure for a shower renovation gone wrong. I enjoyed working with Ron on my shower and exercise room projects. I had gotten a quote from another glass company, but the other company had me do all of my own measuring. They wouldnt come out to do their own measure until I accepted their quote. Ron came out, measured, used lasers--very scientific, and quoted based on his measurements (which were a lot more accurate than the ones I gave the other guys!) The two quotes were pretty similar (the other guys were a little more expensive), but, Im sure the other glass company would have uncharged me later for some of the flaws in my wall construction, which Ron was already aware of.I also chose Ron because he listened to my ideas and helped me realize my vision of what I wanted to have done. The other company listened to my ideas and told me that I couldnt do it. But they didnt tell me what I could do. Ron told me what I could do; Ron gave me solutions.My projects are finished--my shower door works great, no leaks. The door, the glass, the accessories enhance my shower and bathroom. My exercise room is beautiful and has a professional look thanks to the way that Ron installed the mirrors.I will have other glass/mirror projects in the future and will call Ron, the Glass Doctor, straightaway!

Im not sure whether to put this under their Valparaiso office or the Crown Point one so Im doing both. The Glass Doctors were fantastic and I highly recommend them - I really cant praise them enough; I hope this review does them justice. First of all they returned my initial call almost immediately, which is rare these days for some reason. They came out the next day to give me an estimate, after confirming that it wasnt an emergency that needed an immediate fix. They gave me a schedule of when theyd do what, and fixed everything exactly when they said they would. The guys - Ron, Sean and Eric - really could not have been nicer or more considerate. (I specifically asked for their names so that I could give them credit.) The windows they fixed work beautifully now. I also had them replace two windows that didnt open - they were just panes of glass affixed to a frame. Those new windows - sliding windows with a screen - are theyre exactly what I hoped theyd be, namely easy to maneuver, low-maintenance, and they fit in well with the rest of that room - which was no piece of cake since its an ancient house full of stuff they stopped making 30 years ago. It was a great experience all around and Im so happy with my windows!

First of all, someone came out to look the job over and give us an estimate. This was done very professionally and we got the estimate quickly.Eric & Shawn installed two second floor glass replacements as well as a glass replacement for an octagon window. My windows to my house were both cracked. I brought in the windows in for repair on 2 separate occasions. the windows were repaired by the next day. they even cleaned the windows frames .the windows look so good I looks like the window is open when its closed. Had a chip in the windshield repaired 2017. The extreme cold this past winter caused the windshield to crack across the repaired chip. Glass Doctor of Crown Point honored their warranty and ordered my new windshield. Was able to schedule the installation right away and the job was done in a lil over an hour. Great!

On Monday my windshield spidered out. Of course I was stressed and anxious to get it replaced. I called 3 different places. I choose The Glass Dr in Crown Point. Their customer service is outstanding. The women over the phone was very nice and gave me a quote. I did let her know I would call back and so happy I did. I arranged an apt for 10 am Fri. She let me know it usually takes about 2 hours. I had my significant other bring it in. Within an hour and a half I got a call it was ready. They did a great job! GD made everything go so smooth! I called around for the lowest price on glass shower doors to 5 different local shops. Ron with glass doctor came in at the lowest price with great knowledge and experience. I almost never write reviews but I constantly am reading reviews on companies. So when the shower doors were done, I had to write this one. The doors came in and looked better than expected. Everything worked perfectly. We had them also install kitchen glass with a pattern in the glass. My overall experience with them was great! I would highly recommend them!

I made an appointment to replace my window a week in advance (they had no earlier bookings). The day of the appointment they called 40 mins before the appointment to tell me the glass never came in and I would have to wait *ANOTHER* week because they were fully booked. They had a full 7 days to get the windshield when most warehouses overnight them! There should have been absolutely no problem! Also, I should have gotten a priority appointment sooner because they dropped the ball. Then they started asking me what kind of windshield I even needed in the first place. Which made me think they lost my order altogether, and their response was a vague I dont know what happened when I asked. Most places you can replace windshields the day of or next day. This would have taken me two whole weeks! I already had my day planned around getting the windshield replaced and I needed it done soon because I was traveling and the crack wasnt safe. Their attitude was definetly well get to it when we feel like it. No apologies, just a bunch of corporate bureaucracy, just doing what Im told b.s. This place was a complete waste of my time! First time trying it out because they seemed professional but they completely fail at what theyre in business for. Another company was happy to have me and did it same day, no problems.
