Used them twice now for basic service calls/repairs. Great experience both times. $100-$150 for a simple repair. Very pleased!

They need to re-education their staff on professionalism and safety especially when their staff are utilizing their commercial vehicles. Road rage and tailgating a vehicle that is doing the speed limit is unacceptable and even more so when their are children in the vehicle. Also, yelling, flailing arms, and cussing both in body language and verbally is in appropriate when you are supposed to be representing a company.

This place did repair my garage door and it is working well. BUT they added a warranty on our bill for an extra $100 charge and called it a labor charge when accepting my payment. Later on when I read over the bill details I noticed it was actually NOT a labor charge but a warranty. I trued calling the company daily for 3 WEEKS to speak to the manager about this. The manager was NEVER available. They would take my name and number and say he’d call back. He NEVER called. I would talk to people who said they couldn’t help me with the issue. This company swindled an extra $100 from me and refused to even call back and speak to me about the issue. Totally ghosted me. Terrible costumer service. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Go with another company.

Everything went super smooth! Very professional and courteous. Awesome estimator and install crews completed it in 2 Hours!! They gave a very competitive estimate, so make sure you get an estimate from these guys before purchasing your next door. Wife is super happy with how it looks so what else can I ask for. Garage door looks perfect.

The garage door repair services offered by Higgins Overhead Door are super quality at a reasonable price. They were able to assist me with programming my garage door remote and doing a tune-up. Their friendly specialist didn’t charge much and was very detailed with his work. Top notch!!

The spring on my home garage door broke suddenly, requiring a replacement. The first company I contacted, the repair person quoted me a price of $300 to replace both springs, during the initial inspection and he stated his company would have to order the part which would cause a delay in repair time.I called this companys office a short time later to order the repair. The person who answered the phone then quoted me $600 to repair both springs. I said no to this bait and switch and went searching for another company.I came across Higgins Overhead Door and called them at about 1 pm. The person on the phone stated they could fix my door any quoted me a price of between $200-350 depending on the spring needed, much less than the other company. The best part was she stated they had the necessary materials and could fix the door today or tomorrow at the latest.The company was able to fit me in that day to replace the springs at $215.00. The workers were in and out in about 20 minutes. Higgins was great in squeezing me in at the last minute and getting my door fixed quickly, I cant say enough good things about them.

Specialist did a massive job removing two old garage door openers and installing new ones. He was able to straighten a bent track and put back on a roller that was previously removed. Once the install was done he programmed both controls and walked me through any problem I might encounter if it wasnt functioning correctly. I would recommend Higgins Overhead Door for garage door opener replacements.

I called Higgins Overhead Door on a Tuesday and was able to set an appointment for the next day. Specialist called an hour early and asked if I was available early. I was and he fixed my issue of a bad sensor in about 15 minutes. Local and affordable!

Refused to work on my home because it had a Gary mailing address, even though they are licensed to work where I live in an unincorporated area of the county. Im sure they dont refuse work for wealthy people in other places of the county, but here where us working class folks live, we didnt make the cut. Best of luck in your future endeavours Mr Higgins.

These guys were awesome. My door crashed with the cars inside, they came first thing in the morning and got it back up for me. They only charged a nominal fee. Work with them. They are fast, friendly, and do good work.
