All my experiences here have been great! From my eye exams with the Doctor to choosing my next new pair of glasses. Their staff is super friendly & helpful. Wouldnt want to go anywhere else!
Fantastic customer service. Wish I could give 7 stars. They value each customer, regardless of how much business they get. Plus they know their stuff. Very knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend this place for all your eye care needs.
After not hearing from my eye doctor, I called the Eye Boutique and spoke with Emily. She told me to she could easily fixes my glasses. When I arrived at the Eye Boutique and Emily quickly fixed my glasses. Emily was knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. I was so pleased with the excellent customer care I received that I called Justin, who is the manager of the store. I told him about my superb customer care and I wanted to make sure Emily was acknowledge. He told me he would. I would highly recommend the Crystal Lake Eye Boutique for their thoughtful customer care and service. With Gratitude to Emily and Justin!
Very friendly and helpful
I had gone to at least half a dozen places trying to find some glasses that I liked, I had not found a single pair until I got to Eye Boutique... Where I found more than 5 pairs that I loved (but ya know... insurance covers one pair a year so... Ill slowly build my collection)! They got me an appointment for a few days later, I purchased the glasses with no hassle and they were ready within a week. The staff here is wonderful! They were all friendly and extremely helpful! I had my very energetic four-year-old in tow and they were very kind to her. I have found my place for glasses!
Eye Boutique is one stop place to get your eyes checked by a great doctor and get beautiful frames from quite a selection. Staff is very helpful, knowledgeable and polite. They always find the time to answer all the questions. This is a great place for the whole family. I very highly recommend this doctor and his staff.
The staff was kind and accommodating to our family. The doctor made my three year old feel safe and my son was comfortable enough to follow everything the doctor asked. We experienced a great visit.

I’ve always had a great experience coming to the Eye Boutique. The Doctor is very personable, always answers my questions and has great bedside manner. The glasses selection also never disappoints! Staff is very helpful and doesn’t push you into buying glasses the same day like some other eye centers do.
Dr. Brito is fantastic at what he does! He is very professional and friendly. He genuinely cares about his patients.He takes time to explain exactly what hes doing and answers all questions. Ill definitely be back for my annual exam next year!
Ordered a pair of over $500 glasses and they came scratched on the right lense. They replaced that lense. During Covid I noticed I had light scratches that seemed to be just from cleaning my lenses with the products they provided. They were shut down so I had to wait. Once they opened I talked with the store manager who refused to replace my lenses under warranty although Ive only had them a short time. He described these scratches as normal wear and tear yet I never had these issues with other lens makers. I tried to go to the regional manager who did not return my call. The staff at this location is very nice but The Eye Boutique does not sell a quality product, and they do not stand by their product. When I asked how much it would cost to replace the single left lenset I was told $400. The entire pair was $500. Go to Vision Works.
My family (5) have been going to Eye Boutique yearly for the past 15 years. Not once have we had a problem. We would obviously recommend them to anyone.
Great Doctor and Staff
Very professional and I like the different frames available. Some times it tough to make a choice between few good frames (Eventhough it is little pricey if you have to pay from your pocket)
They must have changed staff in the last year. Went to get a pair of glasses and the eye Dr was great! The lady who wrote the order, not so much, basically told me I HAD to get anti glare even though it was an option. When I went to pick up my glasses they had me try them. I told the woman that they did not work, I COULD NOT see anything with my right eye. She told me to go home and try them for a few days to get used to them, I repeated I cannot see anything with my right eye, she dismissed me again telling me to go home and try them and pretty much walked away. I called there 2 hours later to talk to the eye dr and the manager of the store answered the phone, told her I cannot see with these glasses and she says oh, is this Gayle? Why yes it is I tell her. She then says that after I left someone pointed out to her my prescription was wrong for the right eye, she was gonna call me but..... she had nothing to say for why its been over 2 hours since I left and she still had not gotten around to calling me. The 2 members of the staff I have dealt with in the last week have not been very friendly, and have rushed through everything. My experience there last year was so awesome, hope they try to re capture some of the customer service skills they used to have.

My family and I have been going here for many years. Dr. Brito is great - very professional and informative. My concern is the staff. When I called to make an appointment, they said they were busy and would call me back and never did. When I called again, they didnt apologize - just said We were busy. Then when I went in to order glasses, they screwed up and called me saying I still owed money but didnt explain why. I asked for a detailed invoice to see the discrepancy and no one could provide one. I asked for the order to be cancelled and they said they would but then put them through anyway and said I still owe the money. This was a great place to go for years - its too bad since there is so much competition.
I have been going to different eye doctors over the years and I was pleasantly suprised to find Eye Boutique in Crystal Lake. The office is in a great location, they have a great selection of glasses, and Dr. Brito is very imformative and friendly. Will definetly be coming back here!
Last year went in to Eye Boutique, Crystal Lake for my annual exam. First visits were OK. Extra charges beyond my insurance coverage, but that’s expected.Doctor was very good. Patient with me on the Rx exam and answered all my questions.The front staff was less involved. I spoke with them regarding specifics that I wanted regarding the lenses. Progressive, so one pair would work for reading, computer work and driving; transitions lenses so I didn’t have to have a second pair of glasses (sunglasses) for driving. Brought in a pair of cheater sunglasses because I like the positioning of the reader portion for allowing reading of the dashboard and navigation while driving. Said no problem, we can fix you up - $534.00 after insurance – i.e. out of pocket.Well, it was much more like screw you up. First and foremost, I came back after a couple of weeks of trying to get used to the glasses with no success, I questioned why the transitions did not seem to be darkening while driving. I was told “windshields have UV protection built in, transitions are limited in side a car”. Why wasn’t I told that when I was describing to them what I wanted and why? Further, the usable center portion of the lens (computer sue) was nowhere near as wide as the diagrams I was presented during the ordering process and was unusable for the intended purpose. And the positioning of the reader portion of the lens did not mimic the sample I brought in specifically so they could get the positioning correct. Bottom line, these glasses were useless to me.I was told there was no refund available, but could have a pair of regular bi-focals made for the frames. Again, I supplied the cheaters for them to take measurements for positioning the reader portion. Again, they came back without the reader being in the correct position. When speaking to the store manager – I was told there was nothing they could do and still no refund.And now, a year later, they have the gall to send me a reminder that I’m due for an eye exam. Perhaps I am due for the exam; but, sure as heck won’t be with them, ever again. After being a client of theirs since 1991. This bad service started when they went from being a family business to being taken over by / associated with Heartland Vision out of WI. Big corporate forgot the family oriented roots.I cannot and will not recommend Eye Boutique, Crystal Lake to anyone. And based on the poor reviews for the other locations as well, it’s not isolated to Crystal Lake.
Just got a bill from these guys from my last years order . Ordered them in July of last year told the guy 2 boxs of contacts he orders one . Had to go back a month later becouse I didnt have time and wasnt the one who picked them up . Ordered another . Now I get a bill becouse my insirence didnt cover becouse it was 2 orders call then and they tell me its my problem. I ended up just paying it but its redickulas I used to love this place.
The staff was very helpful and they had a lot of glasses to pick from. Dr. Brito was very patient and answered all my questions.

Staff not knowledgeable. Misquoted prices which cause a delay in processing. I had to make several visits to the store to get my order processed.
I love my glasses. I always get different now I got red!
