Ive been a customer here for about 10 years but hadnt been there in about 3 years. A new (new to me) employee named Justin handled the quote, appointment and also did the install work for new tires.Justin is among the best employees Ive run into anywhere. I manage a customer service department and hes exactly the type of employee you hope lands at your company.Prompt service, good explanation of why the front end of my vehicle couldnt be aligned and good pricing. Prior to Hamel I was a customer at Town Faire Tire and left them due to poor service. Justin is exactly why I try to support local shops over national chains whenever possible. Well done.

Thank you Justin for doing such a great job installing my new snow tires onto my Audi S3. I am a spirited driver that drives +25k miles per year so tire balancing is key to ride comfort and performance. You knocked it out of the park on the first try! Almost every other tire shop (small & large) that I have been to would require several attempts to get it right. My car rides like it was designed with no outside obstacles like wheel vibration from poor tire balancing. I will be coming to you and Hamel tire from here on out!

This place is the best in the area for tires. Pricing is fair and they prefer to look out for their customers. I had driven some on a flat caused by two screws. I was prepared to need to replace the tire but I was pleased to find out that they were happy to repair the existing instead.Love this place

I had a great experience here. Called them up to switch out my summer tires with my winter tires and also had them do an alignment. I drive an Audi TT and am super particular about how it drives. I absolutely hate vibration. Hamels took me the same day I called, quoted me a reasonable price, and got my car done. And what a job they did. No vibration!! They also took the time to place my summer tires in trash bags for storage. Just a great experience and I will be going back.

FRAUD ALERT!!! THIS IS THE MECHANIC YOUR MOTHER WARNED YOU ABOUT!!! STOP RIGHT NOW!!! YOU ARE WALKING INTO A DISHONEST SCHEME!!! SCAM ALERT!!If your engine blows up in the parking lot of Hamels Tire Center parking lot have it towed somewhere else. YOU ARE WALKING INTO A SCAM!!!I went in for a $15 tire repair and Celeste tried to strong arm me into getting 4 new tires, even though my tires were new! When I said no they said I owed them $20 shop minimum for simply looking at my tire. $15 to repair the tire or $20 to LOOK AT IT. This is there scam! I refused to pay so Celeste told me Well you can sit here until 5 PM when we close and then Ill have one of the guys throw you out. I paid, called the bank and reascended payment IMMEDIATELY while still there.IF YOU END UP HERE MAKE SURE YOU PAY BY CREDIT CARD!! VISA IS WELL AWARE HOW THIS SWINDLE WORKS AND IMMEDIATELY REFUNDED MY MONEY WHEN I CALLED!!

I was warned by a mechanic to stay away from this place, I wish I had listened. I found out after they did the work that wouldve been half the price at the place I usually bring it to. My girlfriend had a similar experience. I highly recommend to stay away from these crooks.

We have been bringing our cars here for several years. Oil changes, tires and all other repairs.There has never been any problem with the quality of the work being done. When necessary the mechanics themselves will call and tell you the work that is needed and the reasons why. For our older car they always try to come up with a lower cost option if available.They have never tried to sell me more than what is needed. A few years back they were able to fix my broken A/C by replacing a fuse for $18. An unethical shop could have easily made that into a much more expensive job.

Went in to have a tire plugged - saw a nail in it. l made appt for 10am. Got there 9;50 am and was talked to just before 10 am and had my key taken. 10:13 and lots of chatter in backroom but no one has looked at the car. I ask if I should come back and they reply -that oh so coincidentally they are about to pull it in.They then tell me I have 2 nails and they cant plug it but have a tire for 166 bucks. No thank you I say and am charged 15 dollars for looking at it.I take the car to my regular guy who is 1 mile farther and he puts it up on hoist and we look together. 1 nail only!Do not give these guys your business - they are not honest.

Needed an inspection done, when making the appointment I specifically said I needed some things done and what they were. After they did the inspection, they refused to do the repairs and charged me for the inspection.
