One of my favorite places to shop. I was amazed by how organized the back stock yard was when I drove in to pick up my pavers. Great place to just look around. Im a tool guy and would normally hit Home Depot for that but I think Menards has stepped up the game in Home improvement as far as options go. The people that work there are always friendly too!

Great store for all the family. Better than lowes and home depot put together. All or your house hold needs. And even small stuff for kids and hip teenagers. Just a great store

I prefer menards layout to the other hardware stores around. The selection is kind of lacking, but I still go there for basic things. I prefer high end tools which they don’t seem to have, I lived in Wisconsin so I appreciate the homegrown business aspect

Our go to place for lumber. Huge selection. Menards is not close to our house but we will go anyway because of the wide range of products. Kind of a one stop shopping place. Highly recommend Menards.

This is a HUGE store that carries everything you could ever need while working on your house or yard. They have siding, roofing, decking, fencing, outdoor furniture, indoor furniture, flooring, cabinets, countertops, sinks, mirrors, appliances, plumbing, lighting, electrical and much more. They also sell a wide variety of food and snacks and pet supplies. You dont need to go anywhere else.

Staff was very helpful. Went out of their way to show us around and make sure we got what we needed.

I find it funny when you walk in the store they will say hi to you but wont look at you. They must be forced to say hi or they will melt where they stand. My opinion dont say hi..its to fake. Other than that the clerks are always nice checking out

One place shopping for home and a few other needs and easy to get to in the north area of Akron and off Route 8. We will definitely be back with some purchases after I got some new ideas for some inside projects.

I am a contractor and Menards has become my preferred retail store. Employees are always helpful and tend to be better qualified on average than Home Depot or Lowes and I havent had the same supply chain issues that Ive had with Home Depot.

Stopped by Menards to get some paint matched up for the outside of our house. Adam in wallcoverings waited on us and gave us great customer service. He not only matched the paint but when it was done mixing he put some on the piece of siding we brought in to make sure it was right. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks Adam!

Very large home improvement retail store that also carries some groceries and home goods.Staff is very friendly, though not all are equally knowledgeable.I really like their sale prices. Some regular prices can be on the high side. The rebate is nice but the process can take forever.Great selection.

Spent 80$ on this 6x6 panel.Was given the date of June 20th. Arrived July 2.Description was not 100% accurate.I could have made this out of pallets. Pictures on website very deceiving. I had to pay a 20$ restocking fee as they consider this a special order. So now Im out my time and money. Manager at store wouldnt work with me at all or even go back and look at the item. I didnt have my phone to take a picture but it was not 6x6 and it was very flimsy sitting on the tow motor.Very disappointed overall.

My specia order came in. But it was broken. I waited a week while they had another one come in. It came in broke too. I was told if I didnt like it I could have my money back and go elsewhere surprisedly Im still waiting for my product cant wait to see how this ends I been to the store 3 times so far for one purchase 11% I spent my savings in has going back n forth

I had a chance to visit on contractors day, prior to the grand opening. This is a pretty impressive store. There is not a lot that they don’t have. I will be curious to see what effect if any this store has on the nearby Lowe’s and Home Depot stores. It is a great addition to the Portage Crossing complex and will hopefully have an impact in this area!

Lots of selection, safety measures in place, and we had the kindest cashier help us out. She saw that our hands were full, and grabbed some of our things. She also made sure to give us our small items that may have gotten stuck on the belt. Great experience there today!

Went to the paint department to re-buy a tool I had found there before. After searching for awhile, an employee tried to help me find the tool. When we couldnt find the exact match, she found something similar. Not as good as the last one, but way better than nothing. Great help.

After shopping everywhere for appliances every time we end up at Menards last because its the furthest, we should always make the trip first. Always the best at the right price. Dont bother anywhere else.

Menards is a great alternative to the 2 national big box home stores. They have a larger more diverse selection including some food and a slightly different product / brand mix. I have found several items that the national big box stores do not carry. If I need a specialized item it is my first choice home store.

First time, did a walk about until another place opened. Super huge, even some groceries, tons of lighting. Few sraff, clean, pricing seemed fair.

Very difficult return process. Charged a restocking fee.

Purchased a new tow behind spreader at full price for a business. After bringing it home and unboxing it we discovered the product had been WELL used (rusted and missing hardware, fertilizer still in hopper, and mud on the wheels.) Immediately called the store and was directed to store manager Jean who refused to admit any fault of the store. If I wanted a relacement delivered it would be an additional $90 delivery charge. If you buy a product from Menards and its missing parts/well used its the customers fault apparently.

Lots of variety, good choices, but, need to upgrade the Rebate program, this rebate can be done after paid for items, at the front desk.

I love that this store has such a lg. selection to chose from. But I asked five different employees were something was and none of them knew were to find it. Eventually I found what I was looking for.

I have had great experiences at Menards in the past. The employees have always been helpful. Today was an exception. There was an employee in the lighting section who needed to be fired! Rude and lazy are the only two words to describe this individual.

I purchased 2 exterior doors from Menards and hired an installer they recommended to me. The guy’s name is Richard Wolfe (Richard’s Premium Garage Door Services). He came today and completely butchered the job. He ruined my brand new custom ordered door and ruined all of the trim on the outside, Cut into the door and cracked it in a few places, did not caulk or seal it properly ( it looks like a toddler did it), didn’t bring his own materials or supplies. He took lumber out of my garage. He had to ask my husband for screws. I spent $450 on the door and $250 for him to install it. When I called Menard’s, they said there’s nothing they can do. If you recommend someone to a customer, you should have to check them out at bare minimum, or make it right if they ruin a brand new door. I’m beyond upset. I don’t have money to buy a new one so now we are left with a horrible looking door and frame and trim. I’m so disappointed in Menards. I will never shop here again.

Large selection of everything. Household items, tools, home improvement, storage and holiday items. Prices are comparable to other like stores. You could spend a day walking around in there though getting plenty of good ideas!

Just found out that the range hood I purchased at full price at Cuyahoga Falls Menards obviously does not come with a cord or instructions, even though the box shows it does. I was told to go online for installation instructions. No more business from me.

So much under one roof. Kinda like China Express. Things that you cant find anywhere else. Name brands and brands that youve never heard of. Small electronics that you may have previously only been able to purchase online. Prices are okay. They would be better in they just lowered them eleven percent instead of playing the rebate game that 90% if the customers likely never complete. Customer service is good here.

This is the Everything Store! From housewares to dry grocery goods, to appliances and furniture, toys, garden, all sorts of tools, hardware, and home improvement...a one stop shop for everything! The store is very clean, employees that I interacted with were helpful and friendly. This is one of my new go-to stores for whatever I need!

Not a bad place to find pretty much anything. A lot of the people on the floor are young without a lot of experience in the trades so the help can be kinda hit or miss. But if you know for what youre looking, its great.

I love this store. Close enough that when I need something, lumber or others, I come here vs driving to the big box stores. I love the drive thru lumber yard too. Great people work here and they are always friendly!

Pam is a total gem associate......Stephanie on the other hand..... Supposedly front end mgr...... Was rude rude rude. After electric outage and standing waiting for 1 1/2 hrs, would not let anyone just put their name on carts and come back later to pay for them..... She would rather the carts be abandoned and the employees restock the items...... After we all took the time to shop in this store. Power trip Stephanie..... Yuck!!!!! Thank you Pam for your help with all of us. They need to give Pam the job Stephanie is supposedly holding.

Called to verify that patio set was in stock. Purchased the set online, drove to the store over an hour away and low and behold, we were told that they did not have it. What a waste of our time. Horrible thing to do.

The specific item I went to purchase was conspicuously displayed with a $2.99. Because they put the wrong tag on the shelf, their computer had it for $5.00. They would not honor the display price. That ends my relationship with Menards.

Not really sure what it is about this place. I thought I was the only contractor until I overheard others talking about this store while waiting in line at another local retailer. I visited this Menards several times thinking I’d just visited in an off day or wasn’t in the best of moods....I realized it was on the forth visit that the systems, ordering process and lack of knowledge by very green employees was making an unpleasant experience. The people are very nice and try to help. It doesn’t seem to compensate for the overall weird vibe. Whatever is working in other areas of the country for this retailer may not fit everyone everywhere and l I really tried to like this place. Something just doesn’t feel right here?!Is it the atmosphere or the systems?. Judge for yourself, the staff is friendly and tries to help.... except for the guy at the lumber gate. Something is seriously wrong with him. I don’t visit anymore unless a customer insists which thankfully I am usually able to head off with an alternate source.

While I didnt compare prices this trip, I was simply blown away with how well lit and open the layout was. theres even a grocery section so you can pick up some essentials while youre at the hardware store.

Menards is a nice place to shop. Helpful employees, decent prices, and everyone has to wear masks even customers! That makes me more comfortable shopping there!

Great availability comparing to others but the website does not use rating system on the products so you buy blind, hoping what you getting is a good quality.

Inside the store is great. A lot of works to help you find what you need. But let’s talk lumber yard (warehouse). I had a bunch of wood I needed help loading in my truck bed. When I finally found someone they threw what wood they had on the floor and helped but with attitude. I also had to assist getting wood to ensure I got the right product and I have a bad back. This is not the first time this has happened. I’ve had to find and grab my own wood multiple times before. But this Is enough. You need to have a full crew in the lumber yard or warehouse working to help assist customers. Before a lawsuit is filled because I’m about at that point.

Very clean store. Everything seemed very organized and stocked well. Felt a little on my own when loading lumber which I purchased, would have been nice if someone had offered help loading but I guess that is the price you pay for low prices.

Im building a new home so of course along with that comes needing several items furnishings, cabinet hardware, backslashes, etc. Being that I prefer to support local I got a Menards credit card and thought I would receive small town service. Ive been to their Cuyahoga Falls location numerous times, never not once have I come in and got help I needed. Their staff doesnt seem to know where anything in the store is located, the store is totally unable to help with any online purchase and go add insult to injury they require masks be worn in the store (a policy i whole heartedly support) and yet as I walked the aisles and asked many different staff members for help only maybe half at best were wearing masks properly over their nose and mouth. One of those that chose not to wear a mask properly, claimed to be a manager. I am truly disappointed in the customer service I have received and will likely be taking all my business elsewhere for this building project.

Most employees are helpful and courteous. Finding stuff on sale is sometimes a scavenger hunt !

I went in to purchase a hand saw. I found the one I wanted at the price point I wanted($8.99). Took it to the check out register and to my surprise, it rang up at $16.99. I informed the associate of the difference in price, so she sent someone to check. The floor associate came back and stated she couldnt find it on the shelf. So I assisted the floor associate and showed her where I found the saw, and the tag showed $8.99. We went back to the register and I was informed the saw was in the wrong location and I couldnt get it for the price on the shelf. So I instead had to go pick out another saw. I was not happy with the lack of customer service.
