Home grocery store decorated in 80s best, but clean and organized.

Good prices and well stocked and maintained store. An employee took special care of me even though shed already punched out to go home. Thank is greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Ive shopped here my entire adult life and was always pleased with Acmes meats, seafood, produce and everything else. Their prices were competitive and you could always count on great customer service.Then Covid hit and changed our world forever.The quality of their meats are now below their traditional standards, and their produce isnt always as fresh as we expect. These changes arent only happening to Acme. No matter where we have shopped in town, hoping for better quality groceries, we have not been pleased. Not only has the quality been greatly reduced, but the prices are reduculously high.We are hoping our world can return to normal someday. Until then we just have to accept the changes and make the best of what we are blessed to have.

Its larger than State Rd therefore more options. I was able to get Ox tails here!!!! I love to feel inclusive when I spend my money. Now chitterlings are nowhere to be found anywhere right now but I know ACME will get some when they can

A store I usually forget about even though its close to home. Can find some good sales here

I was looking for a specific beverage. The went to the stockroom and got me some. Plenty of employees to assist excellent store to shop.

I found a pumpkin cake that is delicious about 2 weeks ago maybe longer and I have been checking everyday sense to get another and they have not had them in their Bakery

Seriously need to have another inservice on how to bag items correctly. I worked at giant eagle for 5 years n throwing things anywhere in the bag is definitely not how to properly bag customers groceries. Almost every cashier here I have been to has poor bagging skills to the point I just end up rebaggng my own items. Cold foods dont go w canned goods n paper products do not go w veggies.

Normally a very easy and pleasant place to grab groceries. However the big young dude with glasses who does self checkout from time to time is a complete jerk who doesnt care. Dude makes backhanded jokes about customers all the time. Fellow employees hate working with him. Bad attitude all around. Dump him, not meant for customer service at all.

Not going back. Prices are ridiculously high for no reason at all. Shop at Walmart food prices are way better. We had to spend $20 on 3 frozen diners.. craziness!!

I like Acme. They have everything I need and a good selection of Gluten Free food.

I enjoy shopping at the Bailey Rd. Store. It has a good selection ofEverything but its not a mega store that takes two hours to get your groceries. Staff is always friendly.There has always been an employeeWiping down shopping carts at the entrance. A clean cart with a smile.

Nancy the cashier is always so polite and double bags my groceries so nothing gets smashed. Nick then helps my mom and I to the car to put our groceries in safely. My mom had knee surgery so this is very helpful. Love shopping at this location.

This has always been my favorite ACME. It never disappoints.

The floors r clean and the isles r slways well stocked; however, the prices r way too high. Acme is a great place 2 shop if u have lots of money, but Aldi and Save-A-Lot r better choices.

Prices are going up really bad and many times they do not carry What other stores have. I used to go there for convenience but I think Im going to find somewhere else to shop now.

For the same price point this store is run down and unclean. Tha cashiers in their 50s are professional and friendly, but the teenagers are too busy flirting with each other to actually pay attention to their job of giving customers service and courtesy. Wont be going back. Parking is a zoo as well.

Acme is the only place I have found that carries Molson ice beer. That is my favorite so I go out of my way to go there

This store is close, convenient and always well organized. Each worker is always pleasant and helpful. Only thing I would like a little more is a better variety of seafood. Maybe some king crablegs and some jumbo scampi. Other than that its a great experience everytime.

Stacy at the liquor counter was very very nice to me! What an absolute angel! Next time Im in town I will surely stop by!

My family has been Acme customers for over 60 years. The products and prices are fair and consistent with the area. The fresh markets are a little choppy, and I sometimes have trouble finding what Im looking for.

It was ok, but prices are a dollar or two dollars more that at any groceries stores.

Always shop here. Unfortunately the produce has gone down hill. I know buy all produce from Giant Eagle. I still shop at Acme often for other things.

Great twice a year meat sales

I go here a lot, probably daily. And they always have everything I need. Im leaving out a star because the employees dont say a word to you while youre there, and they seem grumpy. Also the bathrooms are always horrendous.

A little expensive for some items. Brownies are delicious and so is the in-house meatloaf. I like being able to go to the bank as well. Large liquor section. Many of the acme branded items are very good.

It was awful. decided to get some acme potato salad cuz hot to cook. oh my, how awful. it was disgusting. I took 2 bites. t through it in trash. figured if I wont eat it, I cant give to my family. there goes almost 4 bucks.

Get a membership card or its pricey. Good selection.

Acmes is HIGH!! And their products are no better than anywhere else, thats what makes it so bad. Only reason I go there is because it was right there where I was and I needed what I needed in a hurry!!! I dont shop at Acmes!!

Just doing sum shopping at a different store

Multiple times the staff has been rude to me. When Ohio got new IDs, they accused me of having a fake ID and had several managers come look at it. I went in tonight with my paper ID THAT THE BMV gave me after my wallet was stolen and they “didn’t feel comfortable taking it”. Update your staff please so I don’t keep getting held up. Idiots.

Its an Acme.

Parking lot is a disaster. I would bet there are a ton of accidents in this poorly designed lot each month. Inside of Store is nice and clean. Fortunately, the layout inside makes perfect sense. A few bottle-neck pinch points when store is busy, but not terrible. Selection seems to be fresh and plentiful. State liquor is a plus, but be aware of the checkout line you choose, as some clerks are not old enough to sell it, and they need to call someone to ring it through for them. Perhaps a few no alcohol sales in this lane for the friendly and efficient underage staff? Not a huge deal, but all four of the loaded-cart shoppers ahead of me had alcohol in their cart, and each time the clerk had to wait on someone old enough to ring through. All things considered, well worth the trip.

Amazing customer service! I just moved to the Falls and Acme is by far the best market near me. They are all so friendly and I was able to get a rewards card within seconds. Everything was tidy and clean. I saved $41 with their rewards card and I will be returning in two weeks for a little more grocery shopping.

My husband, on 6/3/19 brought a Maxwell coffee 1lb 7oz container for $5.99. When I opened up the container, instead of a fresh smell, I smelled a strong sour smell. I looked at the expiration date and it was 11/30/18. We have also brought spoiled fish from their fish department that we had to return.

EDIT 1-5-19: Done with this place. The cash register froze up after the cashier scanned everything, and wouldnt let me pay. Cashier said that had been happening to that particular register lately. So I went to the office and tried to pay there, but the system denied the transaction twice. The woman at the office said that particular card reader had been acting up. I tried a couple more times with no success. I was then informed I had to go home and get another card to pay. My card is fine and has thousands of dollars of available credit on it. As a matter of fact I had just put gas on the card a half hour previously. So dont try to tell me my card is invalid!!! So instead of opening up another register and trying the card reader there (it was 7:20 AM there were plenty of registers they could have tried), they offered no other assistance. I left, without my groceries. Then I started getting fraud alert emails from my credit card issuer, so now i have to deal with that nightmare. Thanks for nothing, Acme. Giant Eagle here I come.*************************************************(original review) ---> Its an ok Acme, but far from the best... nothing special. If it werent quite close to my home i probably wouldnt go. Service is a mixed bag - the longer term, older employees are usually very good, but you can tell most of the high school age help simply doesnt want to be there - some to the point of being a bit snotty at the register. The place is poorly laid out and can be a total pain to navigate when its even slightly busy. For that reason I shop very early in the morning right after the store opens so I can avoid the inevitable shopping cart congestion later in the day. 2.5 stars.
