We did the cheese making class. So much fun! I highly recommend. These people are so nice. I plan to return to buy cheeses. They have lots to choose from and they’re 100 times more delicious than what you buy at the store.

WOW, its not often these days that you find a business that acts like they appreciate you and your business. But along with great cheese products they are the complete package.

Done the cooking classes, wine tastings, cheese tastings, and pottery making classes and wanted to find something new. Found it!!! It was a well done. Well organized and very nice people. We got to keep about 3lbs of different cheeses we made, 2 aprons, a cook book and a new skill. I couldnt recommend it more.

Wonderful and unique experience! Paula is incredible, as is her entire staff. Informative, entertaining and hand-on -- oh, and you get to leave with the cheese you made! Stick around for a wine and cheese party, sample all the diverse flavors on offer and mingle with other participants. Cant think of a better way to spend a Saturday indoors. Highly recommend you go with a friend, loved one, or partner. The activities are best in duos.

My family and I did the cheesemaking class and it was so much fun! We definitely got our moneys worth with the cheese we got to bring home, plus an apron and cookbook. The wine and cheese tasting at the end was delicious. Mauricio and Shelley were joys to spend the day with. We will definitely be back.

I’m a DFW native, but hadn’t heard of Mozzarella Co until I read a Chez Panisse cookbook. Famous CA chef and restaurant owner buys cheese made in Deep Ellum, who knew? Glad I found this spot— the history, quality, and flavor makes me proud to be Texan.

Great price great service. We ordered their special five cheeses for $30 curbside pickup last night and it was wonderful. The portions of the cheese were surprisingly large and my wife and I came home and sampled each one with wine and some fig jam. We chose some of their robust cheeses and they were very good.

I thought it was simply a pizza place that cleverly traded on the name of a primary ingredient. Wrong. I saw a gentleman putting what looked like purchases from some store nearby into his trunk and I decided to ask him if hed ever been there and he nodded, yes. Its then I followed up with, Is it all mozzarella and he said, yes. Then he told me it was open. Then he told me he worked there. I think hes the owner. Whoops. Wrapped in small vac packages are a vast variety of goat cheeses and...mozzarellas of course, but also some tempting mascarpone cheeses spiked with fruits, or tomatoes and basil, and even sweet ones with maple, and finally, a delicious mozzarella encasing thinly sliced prosciutto (photos). Its been so long since I have been out to shop and I had to search my memory banks for my PIN number. Since it was a rare occasion of getting out, I might have been satisfied with the walk and the fresh morning air. Pricing for these hand-made cheeses might have scared me a bit also and given me a perfect excuse to walk on, but the kindness of the proprietor and his sincere interest in describing the contributing elements of his array of mozzarellas and mascarpone convinced me to take some home. I recommend a nice walk through the daytime version of Deep Ellum and the Mozzarella Company. By the way...big surprise. Its really good cheese!

Very pricey for the cheese we bought. We drove almost an hour to come buy the cheese here. Was told that it is the best cheese. But it was as simple as the ones from Costco. Service is all right. Nothing special.

Discovered this gem during this months wine walk. The staff knows there stuff. The hospitality was amazing and have the best cheeses around. Not to mention meals you can take home and heat up. You can see the factory right when you walk in. Defintely worth checking out and on Saturdays they usually have cheeses out for tasting. It is pretty small, not a place to sit in or take a giant group unless you do a cheese making class with them.

As Italian I can say it is a good try but: we dont put Mozzarella in the fridge or vacuum plastic after it is done to sell to the public and even at home we conserve it in its own serum. It is a fresh cheese, it has to be eaten possibly in the same day that you are buying. It is also very, very expensive. I spent 75 dollars for the same quantity I would spend 20 euros in Italy. I will be back to the Galbani at Kroger that is 2 dollars a piece. Good balance between price and quality. For Marisol, fresh cheese as mozzarella has to be done by hands and no gloves because the high temperature of the dough during the process, that was a tradition for thousand years. Is like you are going to kiss someone but because the germs you put plastic between you and him...come on!
