Quick service, decent prices (7-10+) per dish depending on side orders and stuff, super home-y atmosphere, kind staff. The pancakes are big, the home fries are crispy, and the coffee is strong (i like mine black so I loved it). Everything is very fresh, and the waitstaff, i literally cant stress this enough, is so nice. Great place, love the late breakfast, 10/10 would definitely go again.
Nice people! Good pancake and coffee, perfect eggs and excellently subtle hollandaise sauce. Kielbasa was a little salty for my taste, but good quality, not fatty. Beautiful classic diner car ambiance too, with nice patio option too. All clean and pleasant. Nice pic on wall of Adam Sanders visit too.

I used to live down the Port and would come here all the time. Hadn’t been in 30 years so I figured I’d pop in and grab a Bacon Egg & Cheese breakfast sandwich. Sandwich was decent but it cost 8.05. For a bacon egg and cheese on an English muffin. I was blown away, not sure how you can charge 8.05 for an egg, couple pieces of bacon, slice of cheese on an English.

Good joint. Old style diner. Cozy, if you ask me, but I like this type of place - not worn but well used.Its actually better now than the previous time I had been there. Not sure but I think the cook might be new since then. It had been a while. Anyway, service was fast & friendly. Food was better than last time. Coffee was better than I had remembered, too. I expect Ill be back soon.
Great Diner! Food was good to great, service was tremendous. A good mix of crowd (families with babies and pre-teens all the way up to grizzled, cantankerous bald guys like me)....coffee was never empty - which is enormously important.
Service was good, menu options are pretty standard. In my opinion, breakfast places cant truly be great until they have an interesting menu (new twists on the standard eggs/pancakes/french toast), and with Portsides being just OK, I wont be going out of my way to go back.
Average diner with a heavy nostalgia bonus. They were definitely better back in the day; mostly serve quick grub now and Id bet its mostly frozen. Four starts though cuz I grew up on the mashed potatoes and gravy here so I even though Id bet anything theyre from a mix, Im constantly craving it. Plus the family that runs it is very nice.

I love this place! I have been coming here for breakfast, for years. It feels like home to me. I have been going alone recently and sat at the counter by myself just the other day. The coffee is good, fresh and hot. Two eggs over medium, bacon, white toast is my standard order and yes, that comes with potatoes. The waitress is friendly and attentive. Your coffee cup will never be empty. I live further away now and dont get here as often as I used to but the Portside Diner is top of my list when Im in Danvers.

Poor excuse for a restaurant. Last time I checked salsa is a red color nor bright orange with odd combination of vegetables. Their version of cinnamon French toast was inexcusable.

Quaint family owned diner, friendly attentive wait staff. Ample parking not ada accessible my 80 y/o mother in law experienced challenges going updown and thru the doors however due to the quality of foods she enjoys here she had given me proper instructions. Ive been on a New England meatloaf sampler tour. I must say the meatloaf here is great.
