Wow they moved things around the store and they did a great job. Store Prices are higher than usual but- thats everywhere these days. Save A Lot is worth the trip,you alway save a lot.

I shop at Save-A-Lot religiously cheap convenient most times fast because I shop late at night or early in the morning I like the place

Not a bad place to shop, like any other grocery store you have to have patience when food shopping and look for any bargains you can find to save on your grocery list.

Typical save a lot store. Convenient to Darby and southwest Eastwick section of Philly. Lots of parking and lots of other stores close by including produce junction within walking distance.

This store has a nice selection of foods, but it is poorly stocked. You can never buy produce from here its bad.

The only good thing at Save-A-Lot in Darby is the cashiers are very helpful and understanding plus patient with me every time

First visit. Didnt know a bit of the floor. Kept getting discombobulated. Looking for Wendsleydale cheese, found myself looking at mops. Had to keep going back to places trying to hurry. Neighbor goes there for steaks. I buy burgers.

IChristmas eve I bought all my food in this particular Save A lot and the prices are very different from the register. I went last nite and I was watching the cashier and yes she put extra stuff I different stuff I didn’t have like more than one item of what I have but, it wasn’t one extra item it was other stuff and I approach her and she only took one item out. She got mad at me. When I confronted her. WHATCH YOUR RECEIPTS AT THE DARBY SAVE ALOT. AND THE PRICES ARE DIFFERENT AT THE REGISTER. SHAME ON YOU SAVE ALOT👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

They didnt have what I went for, the short ribs. They did have the flanken ribs which were mainly fat. I thought that other than the sales, their prices were unusually high

Well its a save a lot its not like youre a big big supermarket but its also not like you are corner store so its sort of in between you cannot find help in the aisles to show you where things are. And the place is pretty much disarray, however the prices are good and the selections are great the store could use a good scrub in but thats what you expect from a save a lot. I guess they are service dog friendly and I would recommend them

I hate coming here but I use to come here at least three times a week but switched to the other save a lot in Folcroft. The cashiers in Darby are always on their phones they don’t greet you at all. I should not have to check out and hear all their business while their talking on the phone. The produce is old and moldy at times. I’ll rather burn that extra 10 mins driving to Folcroft before spending a dime in Darby save a lot. It’s only one nice cashier in the Darby location when I get her name I’ll update this

Very dirty meat is brown not fresh looking at all usually have to ask the price of items because the majority of their prices are much higher than the other Save-A-Lot

Better than I expected. Id heard so many awful things about Save a lot but I decided to give them a try since its closer to where I just moved to. Lots of variety at this store, especially in the meat and produce sections. The store was organized, clean and had a good staff. Not a lot of organic stuff like Aldis though.

Its okay in a pinch, has most basic food at good prices. Meat is so so...herbs are a great price. Okay baking and cooking suplies...can find what you need to do ethnic and basic meals

I love it because there is no soda tax and it is much cleaner than the ones in Philadelpia. Plus the meat is much fresher. A lot more choices with the vegetables.

They are always busy with not enough staff. The store was pretty clean and organized, just wish didnt have to wait so long in the checkout line.

They keep the place stocked but some of the meats they sell are not fit for human consumption. Do the smell test!

Nothing was in place. Most things were still in boxes. Restroom was out of order. Rude cashiers. Not at all like the save a lot near my house. Im glad I only had to run in for candy and not for my food shopping.

Good food, good price. Sav a lot has saved me lots of money. They have burgers, turkey burgers, sausages, wheat, white, and potato bread, generic cereal for discount. Sales on their meats almost daily. Prices sometimes goes up but theyre convenient.

Employees were on the phone talking and cussing in front of customers. Not very knowledgeable about prices and products.

The shopping was convenient for me. I found people hard to communicate. I cannot find one of my supplies. A garlic powder. It was out of stock. I didnt like it to buy my shopping bags after all I purchased.

Need better staff

I just moved around the corner from this store and i have been there a few times. I usually have a plesant experience but today this one worker who was an Asian male came up to me with my children and proceeded to talk very rudely to me. Then he went and told the cashier what to charge me for my products... I have never had an experience like that before... I cant say he is racist because they have black people that work there but he was something and welcoming is the furthest thing from it. If i didnt need the food because i had to go to work i would of left it all there and went one of the other thousands of markets that i passed by today. He definitely didnt have respect for all and he definitely didnt practice the 4Ds

Saved a lot on Thanksgiving food item deals!

Nice store to do grocery shopping. Unfortunately they dont have a deli dept, so all of theyre lunch meat and cheeses are pre-packaged and/ or processed.

Although the store was fairly clean some of the meat product didnt look to good. Im some cases you can tell the meat has been thawed and re frozen. Some items was not label properly for pricing and fruit looked old.

They have the bare basics. Prices are good. If you see something new, you have to stock up because chances are you wont see them again any time soon.

I love it there! They have everything l need. I would recommend this Save-A-Lot to my friends and family.

Around 4pm today, this store had a sign for the wrong item being advertised. The items name was too small to be read and I picked up the item thinking I got a bargain. When I was getting ready to play for two bags of onion for two dollars, the cashier told me the items are $4.99/two bags. I tried to explain to her about the sign, and she directed me to talk to the manager. This bold-blues-shirted man was cruel to me. He kept telling me I read the wrong item instead of admitting that he had wrong item being advertised. The place is dirty and items looked like rotten. There is something about the place that is unwelcome. The only reason I got in there was to get cash back. Will never go back there and if you dont encounter with this kind of cruelity, dont shop this filthy place!!

It definitely had everything you are looking for and its a great grocery store the food is never expired and is always up to date

Its not the prettiest place but it serves its purpose. If youre looking for an adequate selection of food & you dont want to go broke doing so this is a safe bet. The reason I couldnt give them 5 stars is becuse the fresh vegetable section needs to kept up & stocked better. Also they need to spend more time sprucing up the place on a daily basis. Aldi spends more time on providing a better shopping environment. But this Save-A-Lot could rival them to an extent with a little elbow grease & organization. With that being said theyre worth your patronage.

This is my favorite Save-A-Lot and I live in Philadelphia and this is in Darby in house sales is the best
