Ill never purchase a tire from this location ever again. Go to Moline the guy is really nice on the phone. Anyways, also DONT purchase warranties at this location guy treats you like trash for his tire going bald within 9 months of purchase. They do not replace tires and will find a reason seemingly to why they cannot. Total a hole of a guy who answers phone. Go to discount tire they get things done promptly and do air checks too for free. And they dont replace tires that dont need fixed they will be honest if you need a new tire or not.
Absolutely a phenomenal job! I didn’t have an appointment but the front desk guy helped out with ease and got my tire changed and back on the road within an hour. These guys are the real deal!!
Horrible service I bought 2 tires about 4 months ago and one has a slow leak already I called and he said bring it in so I did and he said he couldn’t find the slow leak . He would say that I put air in it every couple days. Bring in my other car for a oil change and I asked him do you top all fluids with the oil change he said yes well he didn’t . So I called and of course bring it in so I did that. Oh well we don’t top off wiper fluid . Horrible service and people that work there. They all need fired . I do not recommend going there especially here in Davenport on west Kimberly

This is the best car service in Davenport! I was treated with respect and the work was done quickly. The manager made sure that I had new tires, as they were all bald and needed replaced before I drove into a snowstorm! Since I drive regularly in this (over the road) van, I appreciated how he made the company aware of the problem and took care of it.I would definitely return there with my own car, too. Discovered a tire was showing wires, called around town for a tire and they had one in stock, showed up at 6:50 am and asked if there was any chance to get it in he said he’ll see what he can do knowing they were booked, ended up squeezing me in and changing the tire.Truck is used for work and couldn’t be without it and didn’t want to keep driving it being unsafe.Thank youMitchell

Overall Outstanding! Traveling from Chicago, Illinois to Omaha, Nebraska. Upon leaving Chicago battery died. Got a jump start and all was good, but what about next time the car is shut off? Called Firestone in Davenport, as it was a city we would be passing by, explained our situation. Though they had a full schedule they made it work. From the time I called to the time the work was finished was one of the best customer service experiences. Friendly down to earth initial contact calling, verified there was a battery available for our vehicle type, same friendly welcoming customer service when we walked in, and kept informed about what our cost would be and how long, very well informed. Also very fair prices. We were serviced as allowed and couldn’t be more pleased. Overall experience was Outstanding!

Took my suv in for a oil change and a complete auto check. I had a little squeaky noise coming from front end. Never had any other problems with my truck before.. I was qouted 29.99 for oil change and 9.99 for care package. I paid almost 80 dollars in total, I now have a oil leak exhaust leak and the front end shakes really bad. Will be taking my truck to another shop from now on. this all happened within 3 days. Whoever worked ony car messed it up.

I had my car serviced previously here without incident. I Called to have my oil changed and was quoted $29.00 dollars and some cents. I got to the property and was quoted a completely different price after repeatedly making sure he technician quoted me the right price on the phone as it seemed low to me I was assured the price was correct. I took my car in today to find an argumentative technician the refused to service my vehicle. I would not go there and record your phone conversations that way when the technician argues with you have proof of the conversation. Shady place.
Customer service is terrible. The people working there just mumble at me when i ask a question and act annoyed if I ask him to repeat himself a bit louder. I went in to have a serpintine belt replaced under their warranty and they took 5 days past when it was supposed to be done. The belt still was squeeking when i came out so I had to come back another day. I ended coming back 4 different times because the belt squeal. I spent over 300 bucks in gas alone going back and forth with 2 vehicles. Everytime my truck goes in the tank is full but the tank is almost on E everytime i come out. This last time they charged me 150dollars to replace something they thought could be causing the squeal and it did fix it. But way overpriced. Was quoted just under 200 to replace part plus an oil change and by the end i payed 270dollars. I was promised 2 free oil changes to make up for my inconvenience of having to come back 4 times and when i brought it up the guy said that was not true and charged me 70 dollars. Worst place ever, dont come here. I cant even explain how bad this place is.

Though it was a packed day for them on a Saturday, they understood the position I was in on a holiday weekend....during a pandemic. They got me squeezed, wrapped up, and back on the road in under an hour. Mitch is the best!
I went to them for a belt and a pulley to be replaced they charged me $232.00 and they said they notice that my alternator was unplugged and instead of them plugging it in for me they sent me out the doors they didn’t even try offer to fix it... now I have to pay extra money just to get it plugged and it would’ve only taken them 10 mins to fix. Times hard for a lot of people and this wouldn’t be a auto shop I would suggest to anyone because they are not here for the community. Very disappointed!!!
Needed a belt replaced on Memorial Day. Firestone was open and we called them around 9 am. We were just over a mile away and were able to slowly drive the car there. We were back on the road by 10:45. Fast and friendly service at a fair price. I was very surprised to even get the car repaired on a holiday let alone so quickly and at a decent price.
Awesome service, called me back to check in multiple times, as I was dealing with shady Freds towing and waiting on them to get my car to Firestone. After receiving the car, work was completed in just over an hour, and the people I spoke to were very polite and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
Went to appointment and my tires werent there. No call or anything before. Then asked them to put white lettering inside didnt do it. Said to come back the next morning to fix it. Went back and said the were booked for the day. Unbelievable. Definitely not recommended.

Filthy dirty. Hand prints all over the doors and windows. The ladies bathroom was trashed. It looked like it was under construction. And the toilet bowl was stained orange. The 2 chairs in the lobby was shredded by a cat that runs around. There was sanitizer on the counter, but no one used it the entire time I was there.2 hours.just to check the power steering.

Went in asking questions about a spare tire for my car. I have gotten a run around with my dealership twice now so I started asking questions elsewhere. I got no where here. Im not an idiot, I understand what the guy was trying to tell me but sometimes you need to zip your lips & listen to the person standing on the other side of counter. Usually stop here if need anything done on my truck whe in town. When I came in this last time normally bring in my own oil. long story short They wouldnt do it. So just wanted fuel filter tires rotated and blanched. Id do the oli myself. Well get a call when truck was finishes and the ended up doing the oil change charged me for the price of their oil and used my oil without consent.

Came in at 4:30PM on a Sunday with a separated tire and frantic because I had to get to work the next morning. Though they were booked for the night with other jobs the FireStone crew assured me they had a tire on hand to replace the separated one and would stay late that night to make sure I could drive away in my car that night! Extremely grateful!
Out of town after service was done on the family van. After driving for an hour I felt severe shake in front. Had the van towed to the nearest Toyota dealership. I come to find out Logan my technician left my lugnuts loose. I was lucky I didnt lose a wheel while driving. Never again!
Well I bought four tires today. Nice tires, place looked professional. Workers were nice but they gave me a quote of things that were wrong under my tire. Great to know however the prices of just the parts were $1100.00. So I went to Auto zone and showed my quote for the parts. It totaled to $330.00. He was blown away because he told me that they supply Firestone with their parts. That is over 300% mark up of the parts I could get as a customer. Labor was over $1100 too. Makes me want to get other quotes to compare. Anyway I am not to happy. I dont like their mark up process and probably will never come back for any reason just because of that reason alone😒
They got me in for a tire repair even though they had a busy schedule. The cost came to exactly what I was quoted. The employees were friendly. I would recommend going here for all basic auto repair.

This place is a joke. Took my vehicle in when it was 8-9 years old and told them I thought it was the tie rod that was making a noise. They said no that wasnt it but there were several other things it COULD be which came to a total of $2300. Ummm No. Turns out when I took it somewhere else it was the tie rod. If they would have fixed it at Firestone it would have been under warranty. I havent taken my vehicle there for a couple years. I just took it in for an oil change somewhere else and they mentioned the fuel filter needed changed because the original one was still on it. Well guess what....Firestone charged me around $100 to change it about 3 years ago. I guess they FORGOT to put it on. I now will always make a shop show me first what is the matter and I will request to see the new parts ON my vehicle. I will never take my car here again.
Took my 2007 ford freestyle in and turns out the timing had jumped. Was told that they do not fix that issue with cars so I needed to take it somewhere else. After wasting $113 and my time they need to take the complete auto care off of their name.

The reps here did not try and sell me any extra shenanigans and directed me to the tires they thought best fit my needs instead of trying to upsell me. Honest staff quick work definitely recommend.

Until the last eighteen months I have been a loyal Firestone customer. However, over the past eighteen months things at the Davenport, IA location have changed. In October of 2016 I purchased a new (new to me [used]) vehicle and had the mechanics at your Davenport location inspect it. The initial estimate I got, which was left on a voicemail, was a quote for around $800. When I later called back for the go ahead, I was asked to confirm over $2000, which caused an issue. After that, I had issues when I came for other repairs and misquotes. Another driving factor of my loss of business was a mechanic by the name of Bill, who was always condescending and aggressive to the most normal of questions, as if he was always hiding something. Another factor I ran into, is after I had the vehicle serviced for standard things (oil changes and alignments) I would drive it home with it feeling off, and lo and behold something new was broken. At this point I brought it to a local mechanic who verified my parking brakes had been damaged strangely and were stuck in a locked on position. Fast forward a few months and I had a tire rod snap, and puncture through a rim, which apparently the mechanics at your shop missed. They then tossed my rim, hassled me over the new one, lost my hub cap (so I have been without) and then charged me fees for warranty to work that was obviously their fault. Now we move to current times where my tires which your company put on are now consistently going flat. I am now finding out that my aluminium rims were never sealed and there is corrosion between the rim and tire because of this. Your Davenport department is the worst business I have ever gone to (automotive or otherwise). I feel robbed, cheated, and lied to. I cannot use my warranty on any part you have installed because your employees cannot be trusted. I have been spreading this news to any and every person who will listen. From my direct family and other contacts you have lost over 10 customers to this store alone.

I had an appointment and brought my car in early. I went to the mall for lunch and shopped a bit. I came back an hour or so later and they hadnt even taken the car into the garage. An hour after my appointment was to begin. I had to be late to work because of their failure to get my cars new tires installed in a timely manner.With that being said, a nice gentleman that worked there was kind and apologized. He was very nice to work with. The fact that they saw me come in and then went out and pulled my car in told me how they thought about my business.
Excellent Customer Service!!!I had a check engine light (yikes) on a 1yr old Jeep, so I was not happy. I stopped in to see them (after having a rather less than stellar encounter at the Kimberly Jeep dealership). Mike was very professional and explained to me my options for diagnosis and even could squeeze me in the next day. I ended up coming back a few minutes later just to try out the free engine scan to see what codes it might be throwing. Megan ran out to check it and in 5min she had run the scan and fixed the issue!! Excellent team work there!! Thank you!!!!!

I dont know how these people gave 5 star. Either they are the people who work there or friends of the manager.Never trust them when they say they will take care of everything.If you receive a call telling more laboring is needed, and if you reject them, you have to go there right away and get your car back. Otherwise they will work on your car which indeed they will do nothing and ask you to pay for the labor.

Feeling cheated and lied to! I’m not sure if it’s because I’m a woman or if this location thinks they can get away with constantly upselling everyone.Two years ago I had new tires and TPMS sensors installed. I’ve had service here several times due to air leaking from the tires. I’ve had two tires replaced for punctures that “could not be repaired” for an additional $130 in costs due to tread wear, another replaced for a defect in the tire itself, and two cleaned and remounted for air loss.On my most recent visit (again for air leaking from the tire) I was told that the TPMS sensor was cracked and needed replaced. There was a weird black rubber-like substance covering the sensor as well as a green film (perhaps corrosion from road salt and/or improper tire mounting). Did I mention, this tire was just replaced by them with no mention of a problem with the TPMS sensor? I was accused of repairing my tire with fix-a-flat even though I’ve only ever had them serviced through Firestone since they’re under warranty. After confronting them further they told me the TPMS sensor was not actually cracked but was leaking air at the stem and would need replaced. They quoted me $80 for the new sensor because they were only covered for a year. I had them install a rubber stem (no charge) and left with my annoying TPMS sensor light on.I took the TPMS sensor to another local service shop and it tested out fine! I was quoted $6.67 for a new stem kit for the sensor since there was corrosion.I will NOT return to any Firestone. Fool me once, shame on you! Customers that cannot trust their repairs/service will never stay loyal to the shop.
Car wouldnt start in the mall parking lot, the manager drove me back to my car for a jump and then replaced my battery in less than an hour. You dont see that kind of personal assistance anymore. You can tell that they care here!

Crooked! They told me they couldnt repair 3 objects in my tire. Naturally they tried to sell me a new one. I took it to a different tire shop and they said only 1 of the 3 items actually punctured the tire.
Absolutely fantastic service. Had to replace a tire urgently on our rental car. They handled everything on very short notice, including dealing with the rental company.
The staff are dismissive and unwilling to assist. Long wait time for service despite being only 1 of 2 customers in the shop. Long wait times compared to other services in the area as well as expensive in price for parts and services. I would recommend a local service station over Firestone both for pricing and customer service.

Drove an hour and a half to get warranty work done on a set of tires, waited 3 hours to get looked at with an appointment, sales women was very rude, after leaving and arriving home my lug nuts were loose to the point of almost coming off then had to spend $50 at local shop to have my tires balance because if I drove over 55 my truck would shake. I will never go to firestone again tires are great the employees are terrible.

I had the same experience here.They will be charging you for the work they did not do on your car.,Manager will not listen your decision and will still open the hood and lift the car just to charge you..What a big mistake I made that I have taken my car here.

Bonnie hanz with Robert schauerplace was better than expected, Bill palos sales got us in for a alignment on our jeep.and when we ask do they price match. Bill replied tell me what you have .we discussed we could get our tires for $$$ at discount tire.and Bill palos had a better tire for a bit more. So we told him to do it all tires and alignment. So we walked around the mall for 2hrs to kill time. When returning to see our jeep was done we looked over all the paperwork and noticed that we didnt have one of our old tires that was the only problem. Mike Atkinson found our old tire and gave us a safety tip when we leave and closed out our bill $$$. Megan Riley was very helpful as well when we asked a question on our paperwork related to the alignment. It was over all a great experience and looking forward to coming again.
Shady place. I went for an alignment and they made a “rookie mistake.” I will only return for my free alignment because they botched. And then never return. Such a shame. I have no trust for them now. I don’t even know if I should take their free alignment. Shady asf.

It took almost 3 hours to install tires that were projected to take 60-90 minutes, not very considerate of my time. There was a tire pressure sensor that was broke during the installation I was charged $80 to replace. I was told all 4 pressure sensors were seized and they were able to save all but the one (this was 2 1/2 hours into the 90 minute installation). This is the 3rd set of tires I have put on this vehicle, the last set was done at a GM dealership, and had no problems with the sensors. When I asked why they needed to remove the sensors, I was told to balance the tires, you need the sensors in to balance tires, THEY ARE THE VALVESTEMS...... I was told my battery needed replacing. Battery is 2 years old, stickers on the TOP OF THE BATTERY, still holding charge, made it through a rough winter where it sat in a parking lot, un subzero temps for a week and started right up at -20. So I was told it may be my alternator. My vehicle diagnostics showed charging system charging between 14.2 and 15.0 volts in last 30 days, battery holding 700 CCAs and 13.8 volts. My brakes were suggested to be changed in the near future as well. I replaced front and rear brakes myself, 15 DAYS PRIOR to the tires being installed...... Funny that the brakes were not noted on the service report......When I finally left, the NEW TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR WAS NOT SYNCED UP TO MY VEHICLE! It takes the vehicle 20 minutes of driving to register so the tires are up to running temperature, of course after 20 minutes of driving and 2 phone calls I was almost home, 40 miles from the center. Just return to the Auto Care Center to have it synced up to my vehicle and all 4 pressure sensors homed out the their proper location on the vehicle, because that was not completed during the install either. Simple thing that I do when I rotate my tires at home, takes all of 5 minutes TOPS!!!I arrived at the Auto Care Center at 1:25 pm for a1:30 appointment, and left at 5:30 pm the second, and final time.Totally felt like they were attempting to take advantage of a fool, and felt sorry for some customers that go to this particular Firestone Auto Care. I will NOT go back. I am behind Firestone tires 100%, but not this Auto Care center.
