Love their food! Every time I get their food its consistently good. There is also a wonderful staff.

The waffle was fluffy. The eggs were perfect. They steak was done as ordered and seasoned to perfection. The ladies cooking / waitressing were cheerful. Service in general was top rate. They have a very hard working man bussing tables. He immediately removes the dishes and thoroughly wipes everything down.We are a few miles out of town but look forward to going back often.Worth the trip!

The food is good and portions are large. However, waited 45 minutes on a Sunday morning for our food.

From all the reviews we looked at we decided to take the kids out for breakfast. We got there and everything seemed to look good. We sat ourselves, and waited for our server to come. We got our drink order, $1.50 for a can of Pepsi.... we got our food I had biscuits and gravy it was good but it seemd like they put left over burger meat into their gravy. Made it rough to eat. My wife got a steak breakfast, her steak came to the table rare when she ordered it mid-rare. After she asked to get it re cooked, it came back well done. After spending $40 on a mediocre breakfast I dont think we will be going back.

Anchor grill is a true purists neighborhood grill for cooked-to-order breakfast, lunch or dinner. Nothing fancy at all here, some cliches hanging on the wall, waitress and cook in jeans, t-shirts and sandals and simple foods served promptly and in a friendly way. A great place to grab a quick bite alone or with a friend. This is NOT wheelchair friendly, as you have to go up a step to use the one restroom available to customers and the aisle down the center of the place between booths and counter is fairly narrow. There is a separate room for wheelchair seating at some freestanding tables however. Ive never been disappointed with food or service here. In fact I heard the cook pounding out my just-cut pork tenderloin in the kitchen before breading and frying it. Now thats to-order cooking. All the plates are put together right out in customers view. I watched the chicken(or tuna) salad get made for a sandwich the guy next to me ordered. Great place as long as youre not expecting any hoopla at all!

Hands down of the best diners around!!! This place reminds you of diners of old where you can see them cook everything if you sit right at the counter!!! The wait staff are so friendly along with cooks that come out to ask how the food is!!! OMG and the food is absolutely delicious!!! Just like mom and grandma would make!!! Locally owned where they care so much and what you to make you feel like family and right at home!!! Their whole menu is delicious and mouthwatering!!! Love the daily specials or the what their features they have daily! They switch it up every month too!!! If you havent been here youre absolutely missing out!!!

Friendly service. Excellent food! All made from scratch, just nothing better than freshly made breakfast, nothing is frozen, including the sausage patties.

It was great, the cook is good, she makes her own hash browns and they have good bacon and sausage. Their portion sizes will fill you up. Also good coffee. Sandy will take your order and make you feel like youre at home.

Food is always good, served hot off of the grill. The waitresses are very friendly and good looking. Try it youll like it.

If you are looking for a good Ole all American homemade breakfast look no further. The staff there is always great very friendly. From what I can tell and I should ask/know since Im there all the time, but it seems to be run by Grandma, Mom, and Daughter. I will say they are knocking it out of the park.

Youre not walking into a 5-Star restaurant here, you ate stepping into a place truly fit for Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Dont let that discourage you. The home style classics ate terrific, and the value is amazing. The waitresses bring a sassy charm from a era long gone. I get the Georges Skillet, but these are the best pancakes Ive ever had, and theyre huge!

LOVE this little mom and pop place! Staff is friendly and attentive (without being suffocating) and the food is always delicious with generous portions and low prices! We have never had bad food or service there. Probably shouldnt tell the world about it - its one of the QC best kept secrets....

This is our go to breakfast joint. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I’m not a pancake person but holy moly. It was the most delicious, fluffy pancake I’ve ever had. Best kept secret in the QC!

This was an okay restaurant, it had 1 waitress, 1 cook and 1 girl cleaning tables. Waitress was friendly enough but never checked to see if we needed anything else or ask if you wanted a drink refill, then when my water was refilled water was warm. We had 2 grandsons with us and they got the chicken strips but nothing to dip them in. Food was not all brought out at the same time so the grandsons were done eating and some of us were still eating. Only about 10 people in this restaurant on a Sunday lunch, had to ask for the check. We wont be going back. None of the 5 of us were impressed.

Really like the food. Pancakes are excellent & VERY large.Cant be in a hurry sometimes, only 1 cook. Wish they had fountain pop. Buying by the can isnt good for someone that drinks a lot of soda with their meal.

Have breakfast there 3 days a week and pick up lunch once in a while. Good service, good food especially their tenderloins. Put it on your list of casual places to eat.
