I was just in here- have spent THOUSANDS of dollars with this company over the course of the years I’ve been practicing and playing with makeup I’m disappointed. I was followed around the store the entire time I was in here with my sister. I had my infant son in a stroller as well and every time I turned around there was a sales associate behind me making sure I wasn’t stealing. A women walked up and asked if we needed anything and when a question was presented she goes “okay let me get a sales associate for you” so why are you asking me if I need anything if you can’t help. Don’t spend your time at this store. Go to port orange.

When you are buying makeup, the most important thing is do you have the color Im looking for in stock. They did have it, and they helped me find it. Some clearance items at door when you walk in, as well as a friendly greeting. Thanks Ulta!!

Dont carry alot of styles from a popular name brand. Example eyelashes. I looked for 3 types. They had old styles over priced. Even cheap brands were over priced. Store lady was very nice

I came in and no one was able to help me. Yes, the line was long but I was told to go find people out on the floor to help me. lol Wow, there was no one to be found. When I did find someone, she was helping someone else so I stood back and waited. She never once looked up and acknowledged me. A simple, Ill be with you as soon as I can, thanks for your patience. would have done the trick. Perhaps, it would be best to quit coming online and apologizing for these mishaps and teach your employees quality customer service. Amazon got my order instead.

I have had my hair done by Hayley and Erin and I have always left super happy! I highly recommend coming here to any of the girls for your next hair appointment.

I got over 100$+ worth of makeup there the other work and its beautiful. I liked their deals and the employees were super sweet. I asked an employee to point me towards a contour and he found a kylie contour for 7$. Would go again.

So....my hair was so messed up Bad! I mean so uneven and just horrible, I hated it. I made the mistake of cutting it myself like a dummy...and Hayley Rae one of the hairdressers I swear made me look like a movie star! She gave me a layered cut and thinned it out because it was way too thick. Im so happy! I will never go anywhere else. Thanx so much

I order and pay on line then go to store to pick it up. So simple just in and out. The girl that was working the register was so pleasant.

Went in dressed casual in shorts and t-shirt and was completely ignored. I needed help, but no one offered. They talking to each other. Went in my office attire and was helped immediately. Not good to judge book by the cover. I spend a lot of money. Go to Mac and they are always on point.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I went in to buy something’s and use my points. The sales associate did not allow me to use my points as I didn’t have my actual ID. Only a picture on my phone. When I went back a few days later to purchase some things I was able to use my points WITHOUT an ID .. but I noticed I didn’t have as many points. When I questioned the associate she had no answer for me. It turns out my points had expired due to the associate not allowing me to use them the previous visit. I contacted ulta guest services who pretty much told me too bad there was nothing they could do for me. I have been a platinum member for 4 years. This is the worst customer service I have EVER received!! I also never received my “birthday gift” when I made my purchase. Extremely disappointed!!!

Never done full on makeup but Natalie with Mac came to assist and answer all my questions which i didn’t even have a clue on where to start. I left very happy because of her help. It’s always intimidating going into a beauty store, the cashiers are very catty but Natalie made up for it Big Time! I appreciate her service and kindness it makes a huge impact on beginners like me.

Usually I receive very friendly service at this ulta but a few days ago when I went with a friend she wanted to buy a eyeshadow palette and the price on the display said $7 and it rang up as something higher and I explained to the cashier (which seemed to be new iv never seen her before ) and with a very rude attitude says “ yea that’s not true “ and walks from behind the counter to the pallet and sees that it’s $7 like I had told her I saw was very shocked to receive a response like that as if I was dumb

For skin care Teigan was super helpful and informative. She was help able to help me address every area of concern.

When I went in there was no one to help me, then I went to the checkout, the person behind the counter was very rude.I will shop at the Port Orange Ulta.

Workers greeted me as I entered the store. They were pleasant and very knowledgeable. I asked for help n the woman went out of her way to help me find the items I needed.

Molly was great because its really easy to get confused here. Because of Covid restrictions, we couldnt test any samples of the make up but we did get to take one home to try. It didnt work but we appreciated the help.

Very unprofessional, staff at this location think it’s okay to make fun of a pregnant woman for the way they look, or because their hair is frizzy.

Could have been a 5 star except for the fact I walked around for 30 minutes and was never approached by a sales person. I left without getting what I wanted.

Walked into the store today and spoke with Erin at the Salon. She stated she had someone who was running late for their appointment and took my number. She called me 5 minutes later, appointment had cancelled. She put me right into her chair and cut my hair. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I would definitely recommend Erin to my friends and family. Thank you!!

Gotta love Ulta. Professional and helpful staff and great selection.

Always friendly and helpful at this Ulta store. Plenty of parking and was a tad bit busy on the weekends. Comparing Ulta and Sephora - Sephora now has rewards that you can cash in for points. But you can only do that in one transaction and you can only do $10 at a time. Ultas rewards program is far better, even if they didnt have some of the name brands that Sephora had. Ulta branches out with lower cost cosmetics and plenty of hair products as well as the salon.

I went there to get my hair cut. My stylist was very good, did exactly what I wanted, and was friendly. The store was clean and orderly.

I actually complemented a store associate about her balayage, she told me she got her hair done there. She then told me not to purchase the boxed hair Color and to book an appointment for a balayage...and so I did, working with an experienced professional you expect sincere honesty.. if and when you ask for something specific that they do not have any experience with they should refer you to someone who is.I paid over $200 for a balayage and now I must cut my hair from shoulder length to a very short pixie.I am extremely disappointed and saddened.I should have been guided and instructed not lied to.After getting my hair done the The associate with the balayage walked by me and my stylist said she did not get her hair done there it was done somewhere else. 😡My hair is so damaged I must cut it!!!! 🥺😩😡

Had a question about a hair product and the lady I asked looked like she couldnt be bothered with my question. But the other staff was super helpful.

I met a very friendly consultant by the name of Precious she has truly made my shopping easy and pleasurable during Christmas I was a lost puppy walking around she took notice and Omg I was truly amazed by her enthusiasm and knowledge of the products in the store I must have spent a little over 200. And got everything on my Christmas list. I left with the most heart warming smiles. On my face and in my heart! Kudos to Ulta for hiring this wonderful young lady she is truly and ASSET to your company! And she truly deserves her name because she is Precious ! My daughter has asthma and according to the Americans Disability Act which is Federal Law, she does not have to wear a mask. We were told by the manager at this location she didnt care about Federal Law that it was their policy that she could not shop without a mask. Ulta is looking to be hit with a major lawsuit if they dont recognize Federal Law. I will not spend another penny in their store after years of being a loyal customer.

I scheduled my first ever blowout at Ulta and met Erin. She gave me the most beautiful curls and volume. I didnt feel the need to wash my hair for about 4 days. Even after I did my hair still has volume! She also recommended a foundation for me and showed me how it looked all over my face. She is a people person, and great at explaining things. Ill be seeing her every month from now on!

I was in the store for approximately 20 minutes and I was not greeted or acknowledged. No one made themselves even remotely available to help me. Store was absolutely filthy. Products were disheveled and there was trash on the floor. Several associates were congregated by the front counter talking amongst themselves and the store had just opened, so in my opinion there was no excuse for the store to look the way it did. Wasn’t even offered a thank you or goodbye upon leaving even though there were several staff members near the door. I work in retail so I’m pretty well versed on the importance customer service, merchandising, and store appearance...this location is lacking in all aspects.

As many items they claim to carry, the first time I go in to shop, they dont even carry the item I wanted. They did carry all the other products from the same line... The line of products- living proof hair care products. The store is nice and clean. There is an abundance of other items and products. The salon looked very nice.

The cosmetic consultants were very friendly and helpful. Bianca was so patient with me as I was in search of the perfect lipstick. This store has it all!

The staff here are way above average. They are friendly and eager to assist. And as always, the products are the best. I completely stopped going to Mac and Sephora when we got Ulta. Prices are better and products are just as good and some better. A lot bigger selection here!

Store has a larger variety of brands. Staff is hit or miss. Last time I was in, store was a little messy. It is a busy location, but I dont think they have enough floor support. LMAO..I was asked for ID at check out. Not because I was paying with a debit card, but to redeem points. The salesperson seemed irked that I found this funny. She tried to explain the nonsense. This is a new store, but its lacking in a lot of areas like customer satisfaction. They never ask if you want to redeem points and they never offer the coupon...even if its to remind you to get the sales ad. I bought several items and she tries to give me..the. smallest. bag. LOLOL. I had to ask for a larger bag. I left feeling like maybe I should just buy direct from brands.

Ally and Joanna did such a WONDERFUL job as a team. I never had such a in depth explanation of how to take care of my skin. I learned down to the chemical of products, and what will dry my skin and what wont. I learned that I had combination skin as well. They both took there time making sure to grab the BEST possible product for my situation. I can tell they are both super knowledgeable and well educated when it comes to taking care of your skin. They both had so much passion and where overall enjoyable to be around. Made the atmosphere super friendly and comfortable, 10/10 would go again!

Huge selection but that makes it seem a bit cluttered. It could use a good straightening up for sure. They did have everything I was looking for though so all-in-all Im pretty satisfied with my visit.

If you are Spanish with curly hair wait for Nowai. She is AMAZING her personality is great she is funny and makes you feel great. Oh and she is great with hair and makeup. We were there for a wedding. I personally had my hair done by another girl whom I said IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO DO MY TYPE OF HAIR LEAVE IT CURLY. She blew it out and in Florida it wasnt a good idea. I ENDED UP WITH AN AFRO which wasnt what I started with. I didnt take any pictures at the wedding.

I just went in to get a gift for my girlfriend. Brandi did a great job, found exactly what she uses, and made it really comfortable for a guy to get stuff! She loved the face wash!

Went to get bare minerals, which had promotion, spent 30 minutes getting products, another 20 in line. Upon check out asked cashier about promo, spend $40,00, get 3 products, she didn’t have a clue, couldn’t find the give away. Really? Should be more aware of promo, total waste of time, and effort.Signs everywhere with advertisements of promo, wow! Employees should be aware.

Thos location had an amazing selection of products! I stopped by to get a quick trim in their salon. Hayley was my stylist and she fantastic. If you need an awesome stylist, see her. The only thing that I wasnt a fan of, was they did not carry Amika products. Otherwise, its the best Ulta in the area.

As always ULTA doesnt disappoint. Staff was kind and approachable and I found everything I was looking for and more.

The cashier denied me a bag after I bought a couple of things. I wanted to divide my friend products

5 days ago I go into ulta for a couple things an hour before closing. While I was shopping a hairstylist Diana comes to me and Tells me how nice my hair is & my bangs are but how it would be even better if she did a ph bonder on my hair that I leave in for 3 days. I didn’t want to do it because I was just there to get shampoo & conditioner & there’s nothing wrong w my hair. I don’t dye my hair either but somehow sold me on getting it done for $25 ?? But At that point I was like whatever. So I’m sitting in the chair after she was done blow drying my hair and she then talked me into getting my bangs CUT EVEN MORE after she told me how nice they were and she made it like she really knew what she was doing so I trusted she knew what she was doing and talking about. UM NO without hesitation she grabbed a HUGE chunk of my hair like from half of my head no joke and CHOPPED THEM in 3 seconds and said I was done!!! I not only have my short bangs still but now I have this sheep dog hair style on top of that. I cannot do anything with it. I can’t style it nothing! It’s hideous I went back today to get my money back and told them I do not want anyone to touch my hair. The manager Melissa who is pregnant said she insist on “fixing” it. The only thing she did was chop it even more to make it “softer” but did not fix anything. I look at her and say “you’re telling me you fixed that and it looks good to??” she replied by saying “no it looks terrible but I’ll refund you your money back” !!!!!! She also get smart saying she can’t put the hair back on my head?? OBVIOUSLY LADY. So I get my refund and walk out and go to SPLASH AVEDA salon and they couldn’t believe what my hair looked like they told me honestly she doesn’t want to touch it because they cut my hair so bad that if she touched it it wouldn’t even blend with my hair. So I need to now grow out my hair!!! I also mentioned that the hairstylist at ulta did a ph bonder on my hair which did nothing by the way and the lady from SPLASH had no idea what that was and this was at a classy nice hair salon too! So tells me a lot. My original hair was fine. DO NOT GET YOUR HAIRCUT AT ULTA BY TANGER OUTLETS. They don’t know how to cut hair and neither does the manager.

I usually go to Ulta Beauty in Port Orange But since I was in the neighborhood near Tanger Outlets I was in the market for my Almay intense color eyeliner black pearl that seams to be off the market now, But however sorry I didnt catch her name directed me to try something new !!the brand NYX this is the deep purple mechanical pencilandWorth the hype mascara !!All I can say is Im EXCITED to try this brand !!!Thank you!!
