Cant say enough great stuff about this bunch... bought $500 stereo on line for $150 instead of from the other guys ... for a Benjamin installed perfectly no questions asked... super fast appointment and for me no wait with the job done in less than 30 min... the very next day my BIL spent $600 at the other guys and I am still laughing ... They are quick and do exactly what you ask I do feel they charge to much I’m sure if I shopped around I could find better deals but it’s only 3 minutes from my house besides that once your his customer your his customer for life they will always take a moment to help you with anything you need like if you can’t figure out something on your new stereo for example wish I could give 5 stars but I do believe the prices get jacked up around tax time so if you can go any other time of the year I would suggest you wait lol

This place is the best! I’ve been wanting to get a sound system for my 2020 RAM 1500 but the prices were outlandish. I was about to bite the bullet and go to a well known shop near my home in Ann Arbor. Thank God I called Anthony at Motor City Tunes. He was able to get me bumping with a real deal system (No shallow mount pancake speakers) for a fraction of what I was going to pay in A2 for stock sounding subs. I have been dealing with Anthony for a very long time like back in Gibraltar trade center days. I honestly have to say he is very knowledgeable when it comes car audio and he is very honest. I purchased a radio recently for my motorcycle and it was the wrong kind of radio he gave me a better radio for no extra cost threw in a adapter that I needed for one of my speakers and some double sided tape so I could put my amp on my radio all for no extra cost. Some people may ask why. I say because he cares about his customers and is very humble himself. I’ll always shop at Motorcity tunes even if his competitors try to beat his prices which I haven’t seen done to this day.

Never had a sound system prior today, but man. They recommended a JBL Basspro 12 cause I wanted something small but enough to feel it in my chest ya know? Built in amp big bang in a small package. The system sounds absolutely amazing and no issues with any of the process. Actually its so good I have to keep it on one of the lowest settings or my rear mirror starts to move out of place haha! I highly recommend coming here for your sounds. Ill be back for new door speakers!

I dropped my veh off this morning for new speakers all the way around. This place was fast friendly and trustworthy. There was a few pieces of wire laying around the veh. Nothing too serious but other than that great.

When I first went to Anthony he sounded professional. I’m very unhappy with my sounds I just spent $2300 for some bull stuff I had to go back because I was having problems with the stuff he sold me. I purchased all new stuff cause he couldn’t do nothing with the stuff he sold me. And then told me to sale it on the street. No problem you won’t see me again.

This place is terrible, terrible customer service and the staff are thieves; not only did they steal out of my car once, but twice. The owner did nothing to replace my items nor offered me an apology or anything. Id suggest going elsewhere for service, theyre not worth the hassle; poor quality !

Had a system put in here. Sounded great. BUT when I went took out my door speakers. To be put in my other truck. The wires were TAPED TO SPEAKER.NO SOLDER NO CLIPS TO SECURE CONNECTION.They taped my antenna instead replacing it. Id buy speakers and accessories from them. But wouldnt have them install anything of mine.

I came to the store looking to upgrade my car audio system and as soon as I told Anthony what I wanted he knew right away what I needed. He came to the car and listened and he immediately knew what would work best.. I told him my budget and we made a deal. He installed the very next day and oh my I’m loving it. The clarity of the sound is amazing and the kick of the subwoofer already got me in trouble with my neighbor haha.. I have a bit of clean car OCD so my Only thing I would complain about was that I had to clean up inside the car for foot prints and left over trash but no big deal. I had a used Volkswagen Jetta with the premium fender system including four-door speakers, four tweeters, a subwoofer and an amplifier. After about a year, my speakers in the doors blew out but I went another year before trying to fix them. After looking around at different auto shops like Car Tunes in Allen Park or places in Ann Arbor, I decided to come to motor city tunes.Anthony gave me a quote for putting some Pioneer speakers into my doors but I couldn’t come back until two weeks later. By the time I returned, he didn’t have those speakers in stock anymore. Instead, he had higher quality speakers but still honored the original quote. Super integrity move and I really appreciated that!On 10/5/20, Anthony stood behind the original price and put the new speakers in. Immediately I could tell that my system was sounding much better.Unfortunately, my subwoofer stopped working as well. I returned on 10/13/20, a week after they fixed my door speakers to check out some subs. Anthony recommended putting in JBLGT subwoofer. After they installed it, when I turned my radio on, I was completely blown away. The new sub sounded 10x better than my original.At this point, I can highly recommend Motor City Tunes to my friends. I am also even considering having them install some under glow lights in the future.

Very unprofessional, getting runaround for almost 6 weeks for a speaker repair they installed during shutdown. They lost broke plastic cover to door handle and denied it. I try to support business, but they are hood like. Also I didnt receive receipt because they installed speakers under Governors lockdown order and would not give me one and only accepted cash, very professional and trustworthy, not! Dont do business here.....

Just bought a work truck, non-dealer remote start/lock/unlock fob wasnt working. Took it in, spoke to Anthony, he knew just what to do. Bought a blue tooth aux set up, worked a week. Came back to see if I can get it replaced. Guess thier isnt a warranty and its made from china....thats why they dont even buy them no more themselves. Offered me his work buddies one for 20 dollars. I was hustled, not happy. Cant recommend at all. If you dont know anything about nothing I would stay far away from here.

Anthony the owner is a very cool and easy guy to work with. And he is very knowledgeable. I ask alot of questions and they answered all my questions with no problem. Motor city tunes is the only audio shop I know that carrys great quality brands like ds18, sundown audio, dc audio, etc. They really came thru for me. I had a pretty big install I wanted done. Other shops you needed an appointment and were booked up. I called motor city tunes and they fit me right in and got the job completed the next day( I dropped my car off late in the afternoon the day before). They installed my 2 amplifiers, battery in the back, made me an amp rack and sound deadening my trunk. They also installed the big three wiring, actually they went above and beyond and installed the big 4(no extra charge). My system sounds amazing especially my highs and mids, they tuned them perfectly.

Brought two cars in, radio and door speakers. The radio stopped working after two weeks had to have in replaced again, after having it fixed I found out that they somehow broke my power drivers seat and it wont move up all the way! Door speakers: One door speaker was hooked up loose and stopped working the next day, when I brought it in to be fixed they fixed it but left a screw in the door panel rolling around.

I went to them to have 2 12s, a radio and a amp installed. Other car audio shops wanted to charge me a arm and leg but they were extremely affordable. They provided excellent customer service and they got me in and out. They even have a car detailing service which I utilize as well.

Very professional installation of a double DIN unit in my F-150. Anthony and his team worked with me to make sure the accessories (like the microphone and USB connections) were where I wanted them to be. The cost was about the same as I was quoted from the Geek Squad at Best Buy (installation only--I brought in all the parts), but I know I got a better job than what I would have gotten there.

Brought in a 2006 Cadillac Cts with no Bluetooth or Auxiliary port at 1pm on a Thursday afternoon. Needed to fit the screen size and replace with molding to blend it in to the dash. It was done 2 1/2 hours later. Anthony helped with a quick run through of the touch screen and Bluetooth and I was on my way. Reasonably priced and it looks like it was it was meant to be there originally on the dash.Just excellent customer service and friendly to deal with. I will recommend Motor City Tunes to anyone I know looking for custom sound systems without a doubt.

A shout out to Anthony and the team at MotorCity Tunes. Needed to replace the radio for a decade and wanted a modern HD system with backup camera, CarPlay and upgraded speakers from stock. Anthony spec’d a system and gave me a great quote, but I had to make sure it was what I wanted. He read my mind, because after confirming the Pioneer head unit, went back, and found he ordered exactly what I wanted. Friday afternoon they had an opening and put installer Moe on the case. Glorious sonic improvement and they made sure the trim kit would look great, so they special ordered it and completed the install two weeks later. Special thanks to Moe for making my ride “Moe Bettah!”. Strongly recommend this local shop team for your vehicle sound upgrades.
