Bought a La-Z-Boy recliner from Shumake, Shelly was the sales person, with taxes I paid $281 less for the exact same recliner, same cover other than color but exact same material than what Huntsville La-Z-Boy store wanted!

Had the exact couch and loveseat I had in mind. Shopped local and best prices!

The sales lady was real sweet and kind. And times have been tough business wise on everyone, prices were a little higher. Tan most places but she worked on price with us a bit. Supply and demand was evident throughout the store.I didnt however like the fact, the finance part of it was a surprise. And i will pay off early due to it being on a card and not really thru shumake or a local finance company. And my downpayment ended up being more than i wanted to place down, that should of factored in during financing.

Name brand furniture cheap.

We will not be back or recommend this place to anyone. When we got there the lady helping us really didnt seem to want to help us. We picked out a couch and they were trying to talk us into getting it a different day bc the loading or delivery guys were not there. I told her my husband and I would load it bc we wanted it that day. They still wanted us to let them deliver 2 days later. It was getting close to closing time but we ran home got our trailer, loaded it and was pulling out of the parking lot at the exact time they were closing. 4 people helped us with the cushions but it was more like to get us gone. We paid over 1,000 and hate the couch. The cushions have to be adjusted EVERY TIME u sit on it.

Friendly staff, decent prices. The staff allows you to look without hovering. Our particular salesperson took notes as to what we looking for and assisted in recommendations based on our likes. Will purchase again from them.

Buying furniture at Shumake Furniture is one of the better retail experiences in Alabama. Jerry Shumake is knowledgeable, fair dealing and good people. I’d recommend buying a sofa or chair here before anywhere!

Just spent 15 minutes walking around the entire store, walked past multiple employees, and not a single person even acknowledged us. Maybe I didnt look well off enough to purchase furniture from them since I was in my work uniform. Because of the lack of customer service, Ill buy the large sectional I want somewhere else. I wont be going back.
