It is definitely worth the trip. They have been in business for almost 60 years. If you need some parts and pieces for your old motorcycle give them a call. The gentleman who runs the place has a super nice collection of vintage and rare bikes on display that you can view and photograph. He also has a terrific collection of other things Im sure you will enjoy. They dont have a website to view or buy parts but they will be able to tell you if they have what you need. Didnt see any Harley stuff though. Check them out.
Decatur In. is my home town and Daves place is top notch. Many times he has helped me with parts so uncommon. Dave will only give you great parts and advise. Love his front room with all his restored bikes. Wish he was online to see more and purchase. He helped me many times with my 86 Venture Royale Yamaha
Went over to visit Dave a couple week ends ago. Had a wonderful day talking about his collection upstairs. He was very helpful in letting me go though his boxes of CJ360 T parts. Found a fender and something else but not the exhaust pieces I needed. Overall well worth the drive to meet him.
Would be best if I could get online and find out if you have a part I need
I came looking for an uncommon brake line for my 79 CX500c, and Dave (the owner) helped me find one in one of his barns; my brakes work again! Dave is knowledgeable, and his prices are so cheap.
My favorite place to go. I feel like a child around all those old motorcycles. The owner is super friendly and helpful.
Very knowledgeable. Had everything I was looking for. Very cool place lots of history.
Very interesting place and owner was tour guide.
Tons of older parts. Very organized and he knows his stuff. Will definitely stop by again.
Ive always found that Dave Kitson is full of knowledge about nearly all models of the (mostly) Japanese bikes and parts he sells - having been around the industry for many years. Hell deal with you fairly; a visit to his stash of bikes and parts is a dream for an enthusiast or collector.Greg MurphyMascom Group SalesShelbyville, MI
