Had an amazingly positive experience here today when I was having trouble starting my car. Staff helped check out current battery, gave me a boat load of tools to pull out the old battery, helped with the price with a new battery, and then offered a bathroom and heavy duty soap to clean my hands up in. All around in and out in a short period with a working car and a great experience. Will come back in future.

One of the worst customer services ever. The manager was especially horrible and had a bad attitude. I went in to buy a pair of windshield wipers and not even 10 minutes later I realized that the wipers did not work as well as I would have wanted. I went back to try and ask for a exchange but the manager would not let me return them and had a horrible attitude with me. Would not recommend to anyone.

Friendly staff and very helpful, got me exactly what I needed even though my original product was discontinued. They found the new replacement and explained how it was the same, and got me in and out of there quickly.

The battery I purchased in the last 24 months with AutoZone in Nashua, NH had problems with the charge, and my car will not start. I called the Dedham, MA AutoZone location and they told me I was able to get refund or they could give me a replacement battery if I bought in the battery purchased with them. Since already had the car at the time in shop I had the repair shop replace the battery (I then paid 15 more dollars to keep the battery so I could return it to Autozone) When I went to the Autozone in Dedham to refund the battery they would not refund the battery. But, now all they can offer me was an exchange. So now I am out the cost of a battery because it was replaced, and out another 15 dollars because, paid to take it back battery to the Autozone. I just want to be refunded for the battery. If they could have just told me straight the first time it would have saved me 200 dollars, and with the virus I had to take this money out of my weekly expenses (I am the only one working in my family). Please help me.
Store was empty when I walked in and no one asked if I needed help or even said hello. When I did get help (from the store manager), and asked about another customers issue at the other register he proceeded to make fun of the other customers lack of English skills and called him a dummy (that’s the nice version of the word). Very unprofessional. I even said I felt bad for that other customer not knowing the language or anything about cars. The staff should be helpful not be jerks. Every auto-zone I go to usually sucks but this one more than others.
Walked in looking for car cleaning products. Man behind the counter greeted me, saw I was about to grab car soap and proceeded to tell me in detail about the special they had going on (basically for another 10 dollars I had a bucket, microfiber cloths, sponge, tire gloss and interior detailer - vs just the same car soap alone is already 10).The point is the gentleman was extremely welcoming, and helpful.This is the Dedham store; 6:30 pm, 6/27. I should have gotten his name.

I stopped by today to get a battery for a 2014 Mercedes C300. The Mercedes dealer quoted me over $500 parts and labor. I tried Costco, NTB, Sullivan tires. No one had it in stock except NTB who gave me attitude so I didnt want to even deal with them. Finally went to Autozone, they had a Duralast platinum Battery on stock and the kid who works there installed for me for free. The car now starts instantly and in could not be happier with the battery and the service. 5 stars.
Customer service was rude. I asked for help changing head light bulbs and autozone refused to change them today. Ive been having autozone change my headlights for over 20 years. Pick another autozone location.
It seems like there are a variety of experiences with this particular store.My girlfriend and I went to this store because the battery had died in the car. We wanted to make sure that it was the battery. We talked to the manager, Jose, who came out with the battery charge checker to verify that it was the battery.He sprayed some cleaner on the terminals and let me use a socket wrench to disconnect everything. By the time I brought the battery in, he had the brand new one ready to go. He included the grease and terminal connectors and then went out of his way to get us some replacement nuts and bolts because the old ones were corroded. He didnt have to do nearly as much as he did, and I really appreciated that.I will definitely be back there in the future for anything else I may need. Im only one person, but I couldnt ask for any better customer service.

The little man manager is a complete vibe killer with his little man syndrome horrible attitude. Never come here! I will never give these people my business ever again and Ive been coming here for 3 years! Went in for a return and he gave me the worst attitude and horrible customer service. I wanted to punch him in his little head but Im not like him. They need a serious change of management . Like I said I will NEVER EVER COME HERE AGAIN! I have spent thousands of dollars here.
Very disappointed with the customer service at this location. Stepped in on a Tuesday early afternoon to get a new battery for my wife’s car only to be told that they’d only sell me the part but won’t be able to install because they were understaffed. I asked if I could get an appointment or come back at a later time, but I was told they didn’t do appointments and it was unlikely that a later time attempt would work either. This is very disappointing especially that just moments before I spoke with this autozone person, I saw another store employee with a trolly carrying an old battery into the store. So disappointing.

In the past, the employees there were friendly. And I am a loyal autozone customer for more than 10 years. But today, I got worst experience ever... The guy called John seems a manager there. He was extremely rude to my wife. Our car has life time warranty for brake pads, and a few years ago a different manager in the same store agreed we could use the old pads to trade new ones for free. Today, the guy John disagreed and said the manager we met were wrong. His attitude reminded me a mean car dealer I met a few years ago. He rudely let my wife stop talking over and over again. Whats wrong with that guy today???
Needed a quick scan for my 2000 Jetta. Check engine light was on, it was 8:30PM, Half hour before closing time. The guy must have just wanted to go home because the dummy came out, and lied straight to my face about my 2000 Jetta being an OBD1 Port. Lmao. All cars and trucks after 1996 are required to have an OBD2 port. Not only that, but Ive gotten the same vehicle scanned here multiple times in the past. Its easier to just admit you have no idea what youre doing, than blatantly lie to someone who knows their stuff. Not professional at all, and at a customer service level, even less than. What a joke. Dont hire dummies. 👍

I came in with a headlight issue I was unsure of, kind of got the brush off from the staff except for Chobin. She was immediately interested in troubleshooting with me. She came outside and worked through the lights and fuses. I stopped in the next day and she helped me out again and we got the problem solved.
