I Love Books! Great buys today $5 classics by Melville and Shakespeare, Thoreau, Austin, Voltare, Dickens, titled such as The Inferno, The Odysseus. Paradise Lost just to name a few!!! I was on a cloud❤

Love that is has 2 floors & they had everything we were looking for. My daughter being a big BTS fan wanted to check it out due to their BTS -BT21 merch that they have, and she left a happy girl. Scored this cutie for $4! What a steal! 😊

This is such a fun place to visit. I love that theyre so supportive of local authors! Theres always some upcoming event with authors from this area and you can attend their session things then talk to them.

There are so few places to purchase books in person these days, and this place is still great. The staff is wonderful and always helpful, and I feel always welcome in the store.

A very scary experience outside the store!Some Venezuelan lady was spying on us for half an hour, looking on us invasively! Like she was trying to kidnap our children! She was up to something!Top of that, as soon as we start filming her, she start walking fast than run away!(possibly someone was in cooperation with her from a car!)Creepy and very scary!Not to feel safe anymore in such a good neighborhood!

Some one was able to help me right away. There was an information desk as u entered. It was brightly lit and very open spaced

Good selection compared to the glorified kiosk that is Mellody Farm but not the most organized B&N and the staff is not only useless but totally disinterested in helping.

I hate that they took seating okay. But its probably just as well as I probably would have spent another hundred bucks easily.

Its a brick and mortar bookstore. Its always nice to peruse books and the atmosphere is clean, modern, and quiet.I hope Barnes and Noble doesnt go the way of Borders, but most of the books are more expensive than Amazon. I sometimes use it like a library and touch and find books I like then buy them on Amazon.They have coffee.

We love bookstores! Its GREAT to have a few Barnes & Noble Bookstores scattered across our typically traveled routes so we can stop in and browse.Love the cafe. Love the open space. Love the selection. Love the friendly associates.

As other have said book stores are starting to go the way of the dinosaurs. This location always seems to be busy though, so hopefully that is a good sign that it is not near extinction. I encourage people to buy local even if it is a bit more than online. If we all support the bookstores, then they can continue to bring so much joy to people

Nice cafe, lots of books, and good customer service! The Starbucks cafe has a lot of options, almost as much as regular Starbucks do. There are lots of books and toys, journals, pens, collectibles, and more. There aren’t usually too many people working there, but if you find an employee and ask for help, they will most likely be very helpful. They also have elevators substituting the elevators for wheelchairs. The only thing I don’t like about this place is that they don’t have very clean bathrooms. So make sure to go to the bathroom before coming here! I would recommend this bookstore.

Love going to Barnes & Noble. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. They seem to always have just the right selection of everything from, of course, books to games and puzzles. Still sad that the Lincolnshire B&N closed.

Very nice book store. We went for a Saturday morning story time, and everyone we met was very nice (even if my son was louder than he should have been). They even gave everyone free cookies. They have a great selection of kids books, and the staff is very helpful, informative and nice. Be sure to check it out.

Finding book stores are becoming more challenging these days, with the steady increase of technology. This particular store is large, well kept, and is staffed adequately so that you dont find yourself having to hunt down an associate just to ask one simple question.

I just love it there! Every time you walk in you smell the books and just want to explore it all and they are so friendly and everything is so neatly organized! Great place to shop or just sit and read a book!

Last of a dying breed. First we lost small neighborhood book stores, now it seems like were losing the big ones too. But despite that, this big Barnes and Noble in Deerfield continues to provide excellent customer service and a pretty great selection of books, magazines, music and gifts. Theres plenty of parking too.

I still love the smell of a good bookstore. The folks who work here are very nice -- and not just Midwest nice; helpful and interesting nice.

Excellent selection. Miles better than that trash Vernon hills store & it also has a Starbucks so no excuse as to why Vernon hills can’t have collectible goodies. Model kits, Sh figuarts and all other collectible goodies that are available at Deerfield I highly recommended Deerfield over TrashenHills .

Wonderful store although the selection could have been broader, I couldnt find many psychology books.

I had to come here once to use the internet when my home internet went out. Staff was great and just let me work. And it was not noisy or anything.
