Completely fantastic experience. Started with the very knowledgeable and friendly Denise, who helped us determine the right quantity and product for our yard. The compost and peat moss were both very good quality. Showed up on time and we’re efficient!! Couldn’t be happier!!

The Mulch Center is the best! Ive used them for 2 projects at home, and 1 at my sons school, Orrington Elementary, where the Mulch Center donated mulch for a service project that Cub Scout Pack 903 did to weed and mulch the flower beds. The before and after photos are from that project. The Mulch Center has high quality mulch, and their deliveries are timely and professional. And you cant beat a company that does so much to help the community. Thank you, Mulch Center!

Exceptional serviceWe have been getting deliveries of various products from The Mulch Center since 2008 and we have always been pleased with the product quality and the delivery service. In the spring of 2021 for the first time we requested a split delivery with 4 yards of planting bed mix and 4 yards of jobsite chips. That saved us the time of managing two separate deliveries and the expense of two separate deliveries. The driver arrived the next day in a shiny new truck. He was able to unload the products into two separate piles exactly where we wanted them. We gave him a nice tip and we went back into our house. The next thing that happened was we heard and felt a huge thump. We looked at each other and asked, “What was that?” My husband went outside to find the corner gutters of our garage mashed and the driver taking photos of the damage. The driver felt awful and apologized repeatedly. Within 30 minutes a manager from The Mulch Center called us to let us know that an estimator from a roofing company would be over later in the afternoon. We were concerned that the estimator might suggest fixing the damage by hammering out the crunched metal. We were relieved when he told us that since we had seamless gutters with leaf guards the entire runs leading up to the damaged corner would have to be replaced. Here is the amazing part. The roofing crew was on site the next morning and within 24 hours of the damage, the corner was fixed with the same quality materials as the original. The crew took photos to show their work and invited us out to inspect it. After they left, the Mulch Center manager called us to verify that we were happy with the repair. We were still in a little bit of shock over how quickly and how well the repair had been made but we were able to share with him that the speed and quality of the repair surpassed all expectations. We highly recommend The Mulch Center—especially if you have gutters that need to be updated!

The service is so efficient and quick. The pricing is excellent! This is my second year using this soil/mulch provider.

Repeat customer, but this time they didnt deliver today as they said they would. I never got a call from the driver or confirmation. I called around 10:30a. and Gaby said that it would be there before 12pm. By 3pm I gave up, called and cancelled the order. I am guessing they forgot about my order.

The company delivered mulch to my house, the wrong house by error. The owner, Jim, personally called and mulch was picked up the next day. He went above and beyond. If you are looking for mulch, I highly recommend this one. The owner truly cares about his customers and non-customers satisfaction! I will definitely be ordering from here.

Wow - great, great service! After driving from Morton Grove, we were told that insurance regs dont allow us to shovel 4 yards of mulch into my work van. However, they lept into action, apologized to us - offered to deliver it, and arrived within an hour leaving behind extra mulch for the inconvenience. Seriously amazing!
