Don’t call for assistance. I placed a call and “Heather” instantly placed me on hold without a hello. I waited for several minutes and listened to the automated message. Phone started to ring, but no one answered. I hung up and called back, and was placed on hold before I could speak. I know these stores get busy. That’s why I had no problem with holding, but this makes no sense. So, I drove to Autozone. As a consumer, you don’t have to put up with this. Just take your money elsewhere. I know that if a customer has a good experience, they will return. If they have a bad experience, they will not return, and they’ll tell their friends and family to do the same. Heather, customer service is not for you.

Employees have no knowledge or training on how to do their job correctly. Ordered a part that was under $9 that was supposed to be in the next day by noon. It wasnt there... the employee didnt know what to do. The one that did the order the night before did it wrong. I told him to give me my money back, that I would just go to OReilly. Couldnt get my money back because I didnt bring my card that I used to pay for it. Didnt intend to buy anything as the part was paid for. So, they got me for $9 and lost a customer forever. ✌

Needed battery replaced and lady behind counter told me this battery was purchased at Walmart and that I would need to go there to replace. I told her I just need the equivalent and mentioned this is an auto parts store. She immediately flipped out on me or started praising God or yelling oh god. I decided this place is terrible and will never go to another Advanced Auto ever again. This happened at Del City, OK location.

Clean store. Manager isnt very knowledgeable. Had a problem with a alternator. She couldnt help me out so I reached out to corporate customer service and they took great care of me. Not only did they replace my alternator, but they upgraded me when the I bought wasnt in stock. I was very impressed. The customer service is the only reason I still do business with them. If you are able, I would go to a different location. The store in Moore seems to have a better staff.

I have shopped here since the store has opened. This place gone down hill big time. Got employees asking customers if there vehicles are 2wd or 4wd for a brake light bulb. Come on now. Waited 15 minutes at register before I was spoken to. And watched a lady employee struggle with testing a alternator, then using a hammer to bang on it. 👀👀 Not very professional looking in my opinion.

I’ve been sitting in my car since 8:28am website says opens at 8:30am today (Sunday) and shows hours were updated as early as 3 weeks ago. Misinformation is inconveniencing . Please fix your online hours according to your “store hours” sign posted on the front window! which says 9am

Placed order online for in-store pick up but they did not have the items that their online inventory says they have. Workers were very nice and helpful. the system for making their inventory show as unavailable is to mark the price down to $0.05 which then does not translate to the online system saying it is unavailable.

Went to Advance Auto today. One guy on the phone helping someone with their parts while two other employees were just talking. No help from either of them. Stood there waiting and nobody even acknowledged we were even there. Not a hello, hows your day, nothing. We walked out of there and went to OReilly store where we were greeted soon as we walked in. Advance Auto should take some lessons from OReilly Auto. We will not be returning to the Advance Auto in Del City.

I went In for a replacement antenna. I stood in line for 30 minutes as 1 cashier struggled to help the Individual Infront of me, and the other 3 workers felt it was more important to stalk shelves and chat with one another than help customers. I left product on counter and went elsewhere.

I called to get information on a part for my toyota,Some one answer the phone and put me on hold immediately, waited for 15 minutes and then he came back to the line said something about some change and hang up on me, called back, same thing happened got put on hold 5 minutes in and call dropped, called a 3rd time and told the guy that I been along hold and some one hung up on me and he said it wasnt me and put me on hold. I have a mechanic shop and was considering an account with this store but if thats the best treatment they have to offer Ill stick to oreillys

This is a pretty good auto parts store. You simply go in, tell them what part youre needing, and they can look it up and find it in just a matter of minutes. It always amazes me how many parts they can keep in store in such a small building. But they do a pretty good job of customer service here too.

The employees here were on helpful and rude. I couldnt find what I needed and had to ask repeatedly to get someone to pay attention to me and show me where what I needed was. Then when I use the product and it didnt work I tried to return it and they refused to give me a refund or store credit because it was used. How would I have known it wouldnt work unless I used it? DUH! They said I can return another day to talk to a manager but who wants to have to bother to do that? I will not ever return to the store or recommend it to anyone else.

Theyre understaffed, and and when you finally able to get someone to help you theyre extremely rude. I highly suggest going to any of the other ones where you get better service. And if their friends happened to be in the store they will spend more time talking to them than actually doing their job. Again never had this happen at other stores just this one and theyre arrogant attitude is something to see as well.

Matthew is the young man i contacted by phone and he was amazingly courteous and a deep knowledge of cars i searched 4 dayz 4 certain hi performance suspension parts.no avail.many parts on the web and othet car part places and not even sure if its the right part! And who wants to throw away 50 60 bucks for an over nite?! Mattew not only had the parts i seeked by Moog !! he looked at my suspension and spotted a serious issue i over looked! Seperated tie rod ends! Thats scary as hell! And heart attack serious! I was a service mgr and matthew is # my 1 bracket now and my new go to guy for parts.they better give thet man a raise and keep him! And talking w Matt and learned he served our country! Advance Auto used to get all my business until a few years ago. The employees at this store in Del City seem arrogant & argumentative most of the time. There are only a couple of Advance stores with truly knowledgeable & helpful people. This may be the reason they have closed down so many stores. Go to 39th Expy if you want to deal with people that are there for the right reason...to help people get the right part for a good price.

Theyve improved the inhouse workforce, they are for the most part knowledgeable and decent help, but i have a commercial account in which the C.A.M has been doing a horrible Job with. I have now been in business for 5yrs and for the first 3 i Used advanced auto parts as my #1 but when i asked the C.A.M to do his job in getting my advanced account linked with my shop management software he has failed to do so for about a year now. and since then have been using autozone that Im very happy with. They instantly got my account with them integrated and even told me other ways to get bigger discounts (besides having to spend an overabundant amount of money)since i am a small local shop.

Go to another advanced!!! They will give you the wrong part or something used. Twice I ordered parts online and picked them up at this location. The first time it was a set of shocks that I sent my wife to pick up. When she returned with the shocks the box was COVERED in clear tape, looked like it had been in the sun and rain for months. When I opened the box there was a used set of shocks inside. Not just used but worn out, greasy, with destroyed bushings. When I bought them back they said it was the only ones in stock so they didnt bother inspecting them before handing them to a customer. The thought process was that if they were missing parts or bad that they had nothing else to give us. They said they knew they had been returned but figured whoever took the return in checked them out. So now I had to return them, wait for days to have the money put back on my card and once again shop for parts. My next trip up there was for another online order. Two of the three parts were correct but the one they messed up caused a huge headache. They pulled my order and gave it to me. I got out to the truck and remembering what happened last time checked my boxes. I ordered a CPS for a Dodge hemi but when I opened the box I had a TPS for something, not sure what. I took it back in and they told me that wasnt part of my order. I explained to them that that was the problem. It was really simple.... The past two numbers on the part number were reversed between the two. Simple mistake anyone could have made. The issue is that they didnt scan the parts before giving them to me. So the computer said they gave me what I ordered and not the part they gave me. Now they have the nerve to tell me that they dont refund electronics. I dont want a refund, I want what I ordered and paid for! They said they can exchange it for another one but it has to be the same part. This isnt the part I ordered!!! What good is a different wrong part? I asked them to just check their stock in the computer against the two part numbers and explained how it all happened and how easy it is to fix. If they would have scanned the parts before bagging them none of this would have been necessary in the first place. After realizing that I wasnt getting anywhere I called the advance Auto in Moore from inside the 29th store. Thankfully he told me to just come in his store. He fixed the issue and noted that the part I was given cost $100 more than what I ordered and was still in plastic. He couldnt figure out why they were so dead set against fixing their error other than they couldnt figure out how.

Suppose to be a hub for OKC but usually doesnt have what I need on hand. Employees have to have the computer tell them and if they type wrong thing or computer doesnt come up with something, it doesnt exist according to them or isnt original. Oil prices are high, same thing at walmart for way less and they wont match oil price even though they have a low price guarantee. Other Advance stores closed that had knowledgeable staff so dont understand how this one is still open. Maybe good for the shadetree back yard mechanic but not for the pro.
