Please visit any other pharmacy location. I understand about short staffing - Im going through it at my job. But when I arrive over half an hour before the drive thru pharmacy closes as the 6th car in line, and the techs slam and lock the window in my face and then turn off the lights with a few other cars behind me, saying nothing to us, theres a huge problem with your customer service. Save yourself time and please visit any other pharmacy.

Every time for the last 5 months that we go to pick up a prescription for our 11 month old baby we call ahead to make sure it’s ready. We are always told yeah no problem it’s ready for pick up. When we arrive anywhere from 5-30 minutes later it has not been ready once! Why say it’s ready for pickup if it’s not?! Who is this helping?! Whoever is answering the phones, do better and double check your info or go work somewhere that doesn’t deal with time sensitive issues such as having a sick infant wait at a Walgreens for 30 freaking minutes after her prescription is supposedly ready for pickup. DO BETTER!

They used to be great now they are just lazy! They have refilled the same medication wrong twice!! They are so slow never have the medication filled when they have promised. I have finally decided to just transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy!

If you are looking for a challenging experience in which you practically perform the duties of a pharmacist (because all 5 (real?) employees are busy starring at one sheet of paper) this is your one-stop-shop to hell. You will be subject to lies, threats and psychological abuse for hours. If you make it out of this pharmacy with a prescription, you can accomplish anything.

Just moved my prescriptions over to a new pharmacy, not walgreens. We have lived near the del city location for 9 months and everytime we need a prescription it has been a challenge to get our medicine. I DREAD going here. They first of all try not to use the phone to talk to you in drive-thru. Problem is, I cant hear them at all and then when I need to talk I have to scream. Ive asked them to use the phone many times but they refuse and say they cant hear on it. So they make their customers suffer? Second, every pharmacy tech is RUDE! I have yet to come across a friendly one. I was just in the drive-thru for nearly 20 minutes, when it was my turn up to the window she put a sign up so she went to lunch and just left us in line. I went in to talk to the manager and she said I would have to wait 30 minutes until shes done with lunch. So theres only one person doing pharmacy? Terrible, SO terrible.

Walgreens is horrible. Everything is overpriced to begin with. With that said, I found a deal at Walgreens website, shopping at the Del city store. The item price was 5.99 online and 7.49 in store. I asked the manager to price match, she said no. Whaaa??? So what is the difference if I buy it online and pick it up in the same store? It is exactly the same. This is ridiculous. Probably will not go back, unless it is the only thing open, during the apocalypse.

Should be -5 stars for the store at 4300 S.E. 29th and sunnylane. Trying to get your prescriptions at this location is a joke, never enough techs to run drive thru and counter, a pharmacist on duty is hard to come by

Its been a long time since Ive been to this location. I changed my pharmacy here the other day and other than the long wait in line it was fine. The pharmacist helped me with finding my insurance and everything else. Really nice.

They filled my prescription(one with a limited shelf life)a week before I even went in and asked for it,now I am going to miss my appointment today because they cant be bothered to do it until after 4pm.The Del city Walgreens is absolutely useless.

I went to the ER yesterday, and I have a kidney infection and was in need of pain medication/anti inflammatory and antibiotics as well as nausea medication and dropped the scripts off around 7pm the pharmacist said they would be ready at 9 pm waited to receive text. It never came so I have my daughter and her husband drive me up there the next afternoon to pick them up the entire pharmacy was closed down for lunch. I had to wait until after 2pm that day to get my medication and they still did not have the nausea medication ready!!! Frustration level 1000%

I went to this location a few days ago and I will say the manager and the pharmacy were so considerate! Not every one has the best day but the simplest gesture can turn you day around. I was rushing over to this pharmacy as my peer was in severe pain from back spazms and could not move. I came before they opened and explained the situation and they did not hesitate to help me and give him the medication he needed so badly. Thank you all so much!

I went to pick up a prescription on friday, no problems, I come back on sunday for a different one, in extreme pain from the illness I was trying to get medicine for, they first said I had to give them time to open, come back in 30 minutes, I did, they said oh we havent started that one yet, come back in another 30 minutes, I did they claimed my insurance wasnt working so they didnt even start it, i explained I was literally just there 2 days ago and it worked fine, they refused to call the pharmacy help number on my insurance and told me Id just have to pay full price, in extreme pain and agony I just wanted to feel better so I said sure whatever, go wait another 30 minutes they say. I paid 160$ for 2$ worth of medicine, my insurance refuses to refund me because it was walgreens fault they say. I had to go back for more medicine and they tried to shoo me off again but I came in store and demanded they call the number. So apparently theyll only do their job if you go inside and refuse to leave until they do. Never going here again. Worst experience with a pharmacy in my life.

Avoid this pharmacy. They are incompetent. If theres a problem with your prescription they will not notify promptly So you can take the necessary steps to alleviate the problem And fill your prescription before you run out of medicine. The people working the registers obviously are not pharmacists and have no knowledge of the importance filling a prescription in a timely manner and the dangers of stopping certain medicines Abruptly and the physical harm that can cause nor does it seem as if they care.Every time i go in there to pick up my medicine its painfully obvious how unorganized and overworked they are.They speak to you in a rude disrespectful manner as if you are getting on their nerves before you even have a chance to say hello and tell them what you need.As soon as Im able to i will be transferring my prescriptions to a pharmacy that will appreciate my business.

There have been issues with this Walgreens for some time now. Prescriptions not getting filled, long waits in the drive-thru, poor customer service, overall disorganization and system issues. I will be switching my prescriptions to another pharmacy. A complaint has also been sent to Corporate.

Very disappointing, the parking lot had trash everywhere. The trashcans outside the store were overflowing. The sidewalk was just completely filthy from all the trash. I have lived near this location since it opened and have never seen it this run down. The inside was not much better, the management needs to step it up at this location.

I have been trying to get my prescription filled for over a week or so, never received a phone call letting me know what was going on with my medicine, so I called at least once a day to check on it,and now there system isnt working had to have my prescription changed to another Walgreens and guess what its no better, Im going to find another pharmacy

It isnt their fault just how busy they are, but I was about to transfer my script, drive to, and fill one faster to another than I would have while sitting in line.15 minutes.Nothing.Rest of the store is fine. The pharmacy has too high of a demand to be able to operate.

I have been in this store twice. I dont use the pharmacy. But went in a couple of times for other items. Yesterday it was my cellphone charger. Not only was the lady who works there courteous and knowledgeable, she saved me quite a bit of money. Thank you lady! You made my day!

Just like any other Walgreens. Except you have to wait 40 minutes to get prescriptions when there are 2-3 people in front of you. And they have 3 people working the pharmacy... Ive seen McDonalds that seem more in control and organized than this maze for blind people.

Every. Single. Month. I have an issue getting my birthcontrol. Its supposed to be on auto refill but I was lied to and told that it wasnt. I have had to go with out my meds because they just dont have the time? Or they dont care? I ALWAYS recieve an attitude as well. I am looking for new pharmacies because this is bull and no one should have to wait like that. They constantly lie to all their customers about when things will be ready.

This is the rudest place I’ve ever been too. My wife needed her medicine that was sent in the day before, the lady laughed at my wife and told her to try back another day. What kind of people laugh at people that need there meds. Obviously people that are prescribed medication need them for a reason. The people that handle your medicine should be educated in the field and not ignorant kids trying to be someone there not. Techs are not pharmacists and should be put in there place just above a waiter that’s where they belong.

I used to be pleased, but the last several times I have gone its been a nightmare to get my prescriptions here! From only filling half of the doctors order, to dropping my secondary insurance information, to not having items ready when I got a text saying it was ready, having to go back multiple times just to get all the prescriptions I need, long wait in the line. Its ridiculous!No issues with the rest of the store though....thats why they get two stars instead of less.

I used to love working there but they are always understaffed and the measly $9/hr wasnt worth all of the extra work you gotta do. I moved into LTC (no retail) making over $3 more per hour to not deal with the public whose understanding of what goes on in a pharmacy is extremely limited.

I left my doctors office around 1115 then I had lunch. After lunch, I tried to obtain my prescriptions in the drive in because approximately an hour and a half passed. I was told at the drive thru that my prrescriptions would not be ready for another 10-15 minutes. The service rep appeared to be short, but then again I got to know the staff well. They all lack in the ability to keep a professional disposition.Walgreens tries to keep up the personae of the neighborhood friendly pharmacy. This Walgreens seems like the land quality, standards and customer service forgot.

The pharmacy is the slowest in the country. They laid my prescription down some place and couldnt find it. Each person in the pharmacy makes up their own rules about what they can and cant do when it comes to filling prescriptions. I noticed a Caucasian worker lie to a black customer about being able to fill partial prescriptions. The whole pharmacy needs training on customer relations and maybe a handbook on dosd and donts.

Pricey. Helpful staff. Wish they were open 24 hours. Pharmacy, however, is often overworked and confused and disorganized. Not that nice or helpful. Cant seem to get it together with insurance companies or have your medication ready in a timely fashion.

Horrible Management. i bought two packs of hp printer ink was in a hurry to get back to the shop when i got to the shop and opened the packaging on one of the packs the outter packaging was fine. the plastic on the inside was already opened and the cartridges were used. the manager then treated me as if i was trying to play a scam eventhough Im a regular there. she wouldnt do a defective exchange and was very rude. i will warn everyone i know to stay far away from this Walgreens location!!

No matter when you go to the pharmacy, its sloooow as molasses in January. Ive been the only person in line, with one at the counter, and it still took fifteen minutes to pick up my prescription. The techs will make eye contact with you, and keep on going about other business, or servicing the drive-through while you wait for them to get in the mood to serve you. Theyre not worth the wages theyre being paid. And theres a female pharmacist there that rolls her eyes and looks annoyed any time anyone asks her a question. If she hates being there that much, she should find a new job.

Everyone’s super nice and friendly and the store is clean but the pharmacy drive thru is so unbelievably slow it makes me wanna scream. I don’t have the time to wait 30min + every single time I need to pick up one thing. People that have long drawn out questions and orders that take forever should just be polite and go inside for the sake of the other people trying to just swing by the convenience of a drive thru. It’s getting to the point I’m going to transfer all my prescriptions to CVS. I’ve never had to wait there.

Very unprofessional and a waste of time pharmacy. My wife called them a day before and ask if thy do immunization, thy said yes thy do immunization from 9am to 9pm. I called them the next day to follow up on the same question. Thy told me thy don’t do immunization.
