Be very careful. They took my boat on consignment, sold it, and kept the money. After 3 months of working with them to try to get my money, I still dont have it.
We sold our boat a few years back and we are planning to get a new one soon. I stopped by Tycoon because I was driving by and it looked like a good variety. I walked in and was greeted by someone within a decent time frame. She told me she would get a salesman to help. He came out of his office and I explained to him why I was looking for a boat. He asked me budget which I thought was strange at first. When I told him 30k he said he didnt have anything for me, which knowing they have used boats too was kind of strange. I would definitely not recommend this place and I will be taking my business to a company that deserves it.
I bought a 17 year old project boat last year, and have been in several times with issues not unexpected in a boat that old. Each time that Ive been in Ive been wowed by the customer service. Brian, the owner, and Kyle, the service manager, went above and beyond last week to make necessary repairs so that I could be on the lake for the Memorial Day weekend. I can recommend Tycoon without reservation!
We dropped our boat off 7/15/19 after the motor stopped working. Tom, the service mechanic at the time, said he would tear the engine down over the 2019 winter (slow time) and would let us know exactly what had gone wrong in the motor so it could be repaired before lake season 2020. As the winter went on, we noticed when driving by that our boat sat in the same location. My husband called at the end of Jan/early Feb 2020 to find out the status of the motor since we had yet to hear anything. The owner’s son then told my husband that the service mechanic had quit & they were waiting to see what we were going to do with it, without ever calling us to confirm why it was there. At that time my husband told them that it was supposed to have been torn down during the winter/off season to find out if we needed to purchase a new engine or not. They said they would start tearing it down then. It did not get torn down before Covid shutdowns started occurring, which was understandable, but now our timeline was pushed back even further. When they opened back up at the end of April, we told them we just wanted to go ahead and put a new engine in it since the mechanical failure had still not been diagnosed. We brought a substantial check to them to order the new engine on 5/1 & it was supposed to be completed before 5/22/2020, Memorial weekend. The week of 5/18 we were told that the motor had not come in yet & they tried to offer us a boat to take for Memorial weekend, but told us we would be financially responsible for it even if someone else crashed into us so we decided against accepting that offer. We were then told that it would be completed before 7/3/2020. Knowing that we would have to put so many hours on the boat before being able to wakeboard or tube behind it 4th of July weekend, my husband periodically called the owner’s son to check the status of progress. We were repeatedly given excuses as to why progress was delayed or ceased, the fact that the owner was putting new sales in front of ours was one of them; this made us feel like our business was of less importance. Before the motor was ordered, my husband was told that certain performance parts could be upgraded on the new motor, by both the owner and his son, and “it would be no problem.” When 6/26 rolled around, we were once again told the boat was not ready, but should be ready by the following Thursday. At that time we were told assembly of the upgraded performance parts were what was holding the process up; I was personally told by the owners son, “Everything fits to a point. So now where we’re at, why it’s taking so long, I only have two techs, normal motor takes about 3 business days to finish, this has taken much longer, but we keep running into things that we didn’t expect.” I told him at that time that we have been patient thus far because we wanted it done right & we trusted them to do so. The next Thursday, 7/2, the boat was still not done, but the owner did personally loan us out a demo boat which was nice, but I had to repeatedly ask for a letter that stated we were not financially responsible. We still did not have our own boat back & all my son wanted to do for his bday that weekend was wakeboard. Fortunately, no mishaps occurred & we returned it the following Monday, fully detailed & ready to go for the next customer. However, we did not get our boat back until 7/18/2020, one year, 3 days after we dropped it off. Upon arrival to pick up the boat, we noticed that the boat was not even slightly detailed & something was in the cup holder on the passenger side of the boat. The owner told me that was my seat handle; it had been broken & had not been fixed. We also noticed & pointed out missing stainless hardware for our Big Air Wake Tower Bimini top, various other stainless screws missing, & our hull tie downs (which were replaced immediately). The battery switch was not screwed back into to its original place, batteries are dead 3 weeks later sitting with nothing turned on, & our light wiring for the wakeboard tower had been cut & not reconnected.
Had to get 100hr oil change on tritoon. Not a bad place. Friendly staff
The experience i had at tycoon was great. The issues i had were taken care of after the sale of boat. They came through with what they promised. This is updated from my post previously. Everything was taken care of.
Best selection of boats in Oklahoma City by far. They even offer an on the water orientation when buying a boat. Great sales staff, awesome service, and incredible financing. They truly care about putting you into the right boat to fit your needs.
They (every department there) treated me very well and I was buying a semi inexpensive used boat. They followed through with the we owe, paperwork and the service sales and finance department was very helpful. My experience was very positive (pre sale and post) and hope yours is too if you give them your business.

My husband went to this dealership to look and see if they had taken a boat in on trade that he could purchase as a cheap runabout boat when we are on our houseboat. He was treated in a way were he felt put down and looked down on because we had a $5000 budget.
They carry a nice high in family boat
