Came in for a tire change, mechanic gave me a heads up on a leaking gasket I wasnt aware of. Nice! Good people, competitive prices. Update: the gasket isnt leaking like I was told it was, three weeks and not a drop. The tire didnt make it two weeks before it went flat, maybe coincidence, maybe not. Either way, Im glad I didnt shell out money for unnecessary repairs. Buyer beware.

I took my Yamaha to these people and specifically asked if they work on Yamahas. T.C. Their mechanic said “yeah, I have one on the lift right now”. I explained to T.C. that my bike had been sitting for 2 years and that it starts but only runs on one cylinder. He said that it would probably be a couple of weeks before he could get to it. I told him to change the oil while he was at it but to be careful and not to put too much oil in the reservoir. No problem. He called me a couple of days later and told me that he cleaned the carbs out, changed the oil, and cleaned one of the spark plugs that looked “pretty wet”. He said he drove it around the block and that it was running good again. I went to pick the bike up on Saturday. I was told that mechanics don’t work on Saturday. I paid the $300 invoice and started the bike. It was not running good, it was still hitting on only one cylinder. I got the bike home and let it idle for a bit with no change. I was going to take it back and have them go over it again but I figured if T.C. doesn’t know when an engine is only hitting on one cylinder, then I would take my bike to someone else. I can’t afford $100 an hour for a novice mechanic. On Monday, I took the bike to a dealer and explained what had happened. He took the bike in and conducted a diagnostic on the bike and came back out with the results about 15 minutes later. He brought out the spark plugs and showed me what they looked like. They had wear but one was shot. He said he would dig into the carbs and replace the plugs and make sure it was running right. When I went and picked up the bike it was running just like new. The technician said he didn’t want to “throw anyone under the bus, but there was no work done on the carbs”. He sad the old gas in the tank had never been drained, there were cobwebs on the carbs and under the tank which showed that T.C. Never had the tank off and didn’t work on the carbs. The oil reservoir was way over filled. Basically I paid this Pro Custom Cycles $300 for doing absolutely nothing that they said they did. The only reason I gave them one star is because there is not a choice of no stars. Save your money and take your bike to a reputable dealer for repairs, not this fly by night shop.
