I love this place. I have a VERY OLD car. They have kept it on the road for most of the 18 years I’ve owned it. I’m finally going to be getting a new car and will continue to use Accurate Auto for all future maintenance and repair. The service is friendly and quick. Honda Odyssey light started flashing while passing through Chicago on a 1500 mile trip to take our daughter to college. Accurate Auto Clinic was willing to work on the van immediately, treated us with respect, and was fair in their pricing. Got us back on the road in a couple hours so we didnt fall behind our schedule. Highly recommend these guys!

We have been taking our cars to Accurate Auto for over 10 years and are always satisfied with the quality of work and overall experience. I have never had an issue with a repair. A huge plus is loaner cars can be provided which means you dont have to arrange other means of transportation to work, etc. while your car is in the shop. The folks at accurate auto continued to amaze me and my wife last time we brought our vehicles in to get serviced. We did have a few things that needed to be done, but the cars (both from 2007) came out of the shop running and handling great. Cant recommend these guys enough, they really go the extra mile to ensure you are taken care of. Theyre honest and hard working, and offer free loaners if you bring your car insurance card. Well keep going back as often as we can.

When I was looking for an auto repair shop close to home I did some research and ended up coming to Accurate Auto and was very happy with the service and have been going back there for about 3 years. The loaner cars enable me to get to work while my car is being worked on. More importantly, I always feel confident in a job well done. I would definitely recommend Mike and his team.

My battery cable fell off literally a tow truck company recommended I go their. They were fantastic they gave me a loaner till the repair was done. They completed it in a few hours I was back in my vehicle and the price was pretty reasonable. They also washed my vehicle before returning it to me. I am not from here so for me being alone in a state and not knowing anyone they made me feel welcomed and safe.

I have had my cars serviced by Accurate Auto for the past 15 years or so. At least 6 different cars, with all sorts of service or repairs. They do great work at fair prices. When my new car warranty expires I go to Accurate Auto. Never been disappointed.

They do good work and explain all the work that needs to be done. I love the fact that they have loners so Im not stuck without a car.

DO NOT get your Intoxalock recalibrated here. I made the mistake of not asking about the price first but I didn’t think I would be taken advantage of with all the great reviews. It took them at least 30 minutes to get it done because they had faulty equipment. It usually takes less than 15 minutes. Then they charged $65!! The bill said an HOUR for labor. I can’t say about the rest of their services but absolute ripoff when it comes to Intoxalock recalibration. Tire Kickers down the road only charges $30. I’ve been to places that do it for $20. Just make sure to ask first. Hope this helps!

Accurate serviced both our Nissan and Toyota in the same week. I expected days without one of the vehicles but no! Accurate had one vehicle back to me same day and the second was less than 48 hours. Both cars are running great and now I will only take my vehicles to them.

Recently purchased a new Ford Explorer, and went to a dealership for the first oil change. I dont know why I decided to go that route, since I have been going to Accurate Auto for many years with all of my past cars. The customer service I received was atrocious! And that was a Ford dealership!I made my decision right then and there to go back to Accurate Auto where the folks are always so nice and friendly to you, you feel like part of the family the minute you walk in the door! They take the time to listen to you, and fix your car right the first time. Another bonus is that while they are servicing your car based on what you brought it in for, they will also give your car a once over and call you immediately with any other repairs that need to be addressed. They are a small business, but they certainly dont run it that way. Extremely helpful, accommodating, and always have a loaner car available!Would highly recommend you check them out next time you are in need of a car repair or service. You wont be disappointed!

I have been going to Accurate Auto for years now, and no matter what car I have, this is where I always choose to go for service. The prices are quite reasonable and the work is done quickly, thoroughly, and professionally. They keep you updated on repairs as they proceed and always make sure you are getting what you need & that its being done, as you want it done. Plus they offer well-maintained loaner cars for your use while repairs are being done Free. Of. Charge!! Who does that?!? And theres a gorgeous German Shepherd named Lexy to keep you company when you visit the shop!🐶 This last time, I went in because my Honda failed the emissions test. Not only did they fix it, they took my car back to the emissions test site to ensure that it passed so when I picked up my car from Accurate Auto, it already had my new plate sticker on it and they gave me the paperwork showing my car had passed so I didnt even need to get it retested or go back for my plate sticker, they took care of everything!! Accurate Auto really goes above & beyond to take care of their customers! Highly recommend Accurate Auto for any repair needs, these guys are the real deal!👍🏽

Mike is a shyster. He has trained his guys to make up work. He used to be an alderman. Now he is just a liar. A loaner car isnt worth it. I am so sorry that he and his business has come to this. Other neighbors have had similar experiences with inflated estimates. Good bless you Mike!

Of all things I can say about this shop is the Professionalism they carry. The owner is incredibly kind and I am beyond grateful to the staff especially Peter ( The mechanic guy). He kept me updated on the progress and were very thorough on the repairs to make sure my car ran properly after leaving for 5 month without driving it. Hands down, I highly recommend this shop. I have known Mike and his team for more than 40 years now. They always perform at a top level. One of the greatest thing says that they have loaners for their customers. The convenience is absolutely fantastic. Have your next repair experience with accurate auto and you will be greatly satisfied.

Accurate was fast and darling (upfront) but their prices are double to triple the average: labor is 125$. I have never paid more than 50$ labor while my insurance company wont even compensate 25$ labor at competitive pricing. Their lead mechanic Peter Feirick apparently scratched his head for 5 hours replacing a 89 dollar thermostat and 15 dollar hoses. When I called the shop to justify the prices they threw me around a dead voicemail until the secretary gave me the owner. He only worsened things by confirming nothing is OEM and sensationalizing refilling the cooling system as if I dont know how to fill windshield washer fluid. They did not confirm whether they used my cars required Dex cool so now I have to take it to a real mechanic to make sure. They have a verbal unenforceable yes well fix it policy but I have gotten the same dead voicemail treatment. They will send you sweetheart apologies straight to voicemail instead of ever meeting you on a call. Bonus points: they splashed Bondo or something hard all over my car. Made permanent stains in the paint when picked off. 125 labor rate thanks.

I have my GMC Acadia with timing chain issue and other minor mechanical issues, they got all done in a week with very reasonable price, I’m giving them 5 stars, I wish there is more stars option I will gave the all, This service is outstanding, very quick answer, great communication on explaining problem, they provide loaners cars this is very unusual, if you looking for a great and honest mechanics in neighborhood this is the place you will be very satisfied on price and quality, this is my place if I need any further service, I will even go there for oil change,Thank you very much for outstanding service!!!

I was stranded on the side of the highway by sudden engine failure and AAA chose the auto shop to tow me too. Being from out of state, I was very nervous that I was going to get screwed over and stuck with a huge bill at an unfamiliar auto shop in Chicagoland. But actually the opposite happened.Accurate Auto Clinic rushed to fix my car, even though they were busy, and it was the week of Christmas. My bill was incredibly reasonable, and they didn’t try to sell me anything unnecessary. After I picked it up, they texted me to follow up and make sure that it was running smoothly.Thanks for doing a great job!

I came in with a dashboard that looked like a Christmas tree -- so many lights were on! Accurate Auto Clinic not only hooked it up to the computer to diagnose the problem (which is what a different place did) but they took the wheel things apart to see what was wrong. They ordered the parts and had them ready for when I brought the car back to have the work performed even though they couldnt be sure I would be back. The loaner car was clean and serviceable and a great asset for this customer. They fixed the problem and didnt pad the bill. I will be coming back for future service needs.

Oil change company couldn’t get oil filter off since the o ring didn’t have anymore grip. Took care of me ASAP and only charged $40 for the repair where a less reputable shop could have charged a couple of hundred. GREAT JOB! TRUST THIS SHOP!

Hi folks, last month Accurate Auto was able to diagnose my engine light issue. They repaired it promptly and professionally. The loaner car was awesome too. And... I passed my emissions test. Today, I picked up my car after they fixed my sunroof seal. Great service, honest, and friendly. Spread the word, Accurate Auto is the best in town!!!

We have 2 vehicles and they have serviced both. Usually job is complete in 2 days unless waiting on a part. They do have loaner cars in case you need. We have been pleased for many years and prices are pretty good considering what you need done.

Great 1st Impression! Got a print out of diagnosis and the repair seems to be holding up. And I got use of a loaner car at no charge.This was my first time using Accurate Auto and I was really impressed. They had great communication and got things done quickly. I didnt just get a few words about what needed to be done, they actually printed out the diagnostic for me and gave me a copy. They made the repair and my car drives much better now. Plus I got free use of a loaner car which is a huge convenience. All this and they were friendly too.

After my husband took his Audi to the dealership and was told that in order to fix the shaking of the car, it will cost him a new transmission for around $3000 to $4000. He then took it for a second opinion Accurate discovered it was only the motor mounts. He had them replaced, for $1000. Accurate did an awesome job. They saved us a lot if money and the car runs super smooth.Thank you Accurate you have our business.

I just had my rear brakes on my 2010 Mazda replaced and am completely happy with the outcome. I have been taking my 2010 Saab 9-3 to them for the past 2 1/2 years and I have been so happy with their service. They always seem to go above and beyond what is needed. They dont try to up-sell on services that arent needed. Instead, they just keep you posted of the status of your vehicle so you can prepare for these services when they are actually needed. My last service I didnt even mention how my windows would come down a couple of inches automatically when I would try to roll them up. It was just an issue I had learned to live with. To my surprise, they just fixed it for me. Great service, great people.

I had a tire that was low and needed someone to help me fill it. I went to Accurate Auto Clinic and told the gentleman there that I was embarrassed to say I wasnt sure how to put air in the tire. He said, You dont have to know how to do everything, and went outside to fill the tire.He did so and then showed me two places on the tire that might have caused the issue and suggested that I think about replacing the tire before the end of the year. I appreciated the advice and asked if I could pay for his help. He said, No, just give me a good review. So I am doing that. This kind of customer service seems rare these days. If you are looking for a place that is honest and willing to do exactly what is needed without trying to scare you or upsell you, Accurate Auto Clinic is the place to go.

They replaced it and put my car back together as if nothing happened; even though they dont do body work. I was highly impressed. When I had an issue with a light and brought it in again, they fixed it free of charge. I was so surprised! It completely made my week. Being in town from Kentucky, I was not too optimistic of my return for Christmas when my transmission module on my Mazda 3 went out the day before Christmas Eve. Over the last few years, Ive flooded my engine, killed my spark plugs, frozen my wiper fluid reservoir, and used the wrong turn signal bulbs, and Ive needed new window motors, oil changes, electrical wiring repair, and a new backup lamp switch. I brought my car to Accurate Auto for every one of those repairs (including the oil changes!) and will continue to do so in the future. I always feel their pricing is fair and competitive, and I appreciate that they call to tell me a final quote before they begin any repair work.Being able to trust your auto mechanic is invaluable, and I am forever grateful to have found that in Accurate Auto!

My wife and daughter were in the Chicago area when our car developed a transmission leak. My wife took a chance and stopped at Accurate for help. They found the leak, repaired it and refilled the trans with fluid, which by the way is about 7.00 a qt.and it took 6. They told her it was fixed and told her she could go, no charge. As a dad and husband its good to know theres still good honest people out there who are willing to help. I would recommend these folks to everyone who is looking for a reliable place to have your vehicle repaired.

Beware of their pricing. They quoted me something over the phone and when you i got there they overcharged me. This place is a huge rip off. Huge mistake. I got my nephews car towed here last night because his car tire blew out and this morning I spoke to Al about getting the car tire replaced. I am a AAA member and they recommended me this shop and said I would get AAA discount. So Al gave me a quote on two new front tires for $450 with tax included and said it would include 70,000 miles warranty. I mentioned Al about AAA discount and he said they would honor AAA 10% discount. So I thought it would be reasonable price with the AAA discount so I told Al to also complete a oil change which Al said would be $38 for oil change. When I go in to pick up the car the invoice pricing confused me because I was quoted $450 by Al for tires with tax plus the $38 for the oil change. The invoice price shocked me because it was $563. That is over $100 difference. When I looked at the invoice I was charged $50 extra. Larry told me there was a $50 charge for fixing the tire sensor lights. I was not told about this by Al when he gave me the quote of $450 over the phone. I told Larry I was not aware and was never told about this charge. They could have called me told me about this but no one cared to inform me. I was thinking my total would be $500 plus the 10% AAA discount. I thought my total would be $450. Not to mention Larry did not want to honor the AAA discount but then Al told him to apply the AAA discount. Larry said that would be $50 off even tho AAA Discount is 10% off $563 invoice pricing. So that brought my total down to $513. Which is still $63 more than what I was expecting. I was overcharged $63 by Larry. I asked about the 70,000 miles warranty on the tires and Larry said there is no warranty on the tires. I asked Al and he said there is a 70,000 miles manufacture warranty. Larry was getting upset because I was just telling him what I was quoted by Al. He was saying it took us all day to fix this car. Larry was trying to be manipulative and tried covering the overcharged $100 invoice pricing. I told Larry I dont care about the money but I was misinformed about the quote and was over charged $63. Just be honest with your customers. Please dont give your customers wrong quotes over the phone and dont over charge your customers. Beware read your invoices before you pay at this shop. Unreal place with fake pricing. This auto shop should be called Inaccurate Auto Clinic instead of Accurate Auto Clinic. Save your money and take your car to a honest auto shop.

NOT a trustworthy auto shop. Backyard auto repair at best.They tend to take on jobs that are just too big for their shop.After having my vehicle inspected at the dealer and myself noticing some of their handiwork, will never go back here.Spend the extra money, go to your dealership. The dealership is familiar with your rig, has all the necessary tools and will get the job right done the first time.

So there I was, knowing I had a little problem - I thought the power steering pump was shot on my Legacy 3.6 and I was actually driving Tuesday morning to Accurate Auto to drop my car for repairs. The universe has a sense of humor about these things, and while sitting at an intersection, the engine quit. I called the folks down at Accurate . Pro-Tip - always make a good first impression! In morning rush hour, about 12 minutes later Mike, the owner of the place, shows up with a tow rig and hooks me up.Two minutes after we were at the shop they had already fitted me out with loaner and hed figured out I had a bad belt. A new belt, an oil change and a whole lot less $$ than I had thought, I was back in the saddle. No appt needed, no hassles, just quick and easy service.I believe I am in my fifth car with Accurate now, and my way-better half has had a few cars with them as well. We tend not to change cars often, and as such these are long-term dealings with them. If youre a dog person, Lexi the Shepherd is also a huge part of their customer service team as well and theres nothing like a fun-loving doggie to make any great business even better!Thanks guys!

Awesome place. Mike is extremely friendly and giving, especially when it comes to veterans. I once went to get my final free oil change, that I got from being a part of the Des Plaines Chamber of Commerce Veterans Back to Work Bootcamp, and I found out I really needed a new air filter. Not only did I get a free oil change, but Mike was kind enough to change my air filter free of charge. I really appreciate it. I no longer live near Des Plaines, but I would recommend anyone nearby to give Accurate Auto Clinic a shot.

5 stars is a no brainer for this place. They offer a courtesy loaner, and has some of the friendliest staff I have experienced. They do not cheat you and offer knowledgeable professional service at a competitive rate. Im happy to finally have a mechanic I can trust and rely on.

Transfer case went out, they picked up my SUV explained what needed to be changed how much and about how long. Even gave me a loner. Then a few months later went back for some basics, oil change and front breaks, called and said I needed new rear tires. They priced them out and put them on cheaper than were I bought the front 2 and they were the same tires. Again, let me use a loaner car. I will go back.
