Rooms To Go is a decent furniture chain store. Often they have good variety of furniture sets. We like their products. However, I must admit there were times we found better deals for pretty much identical furniture at other local furniture stores. With that said always shop around and check other local stores as well to find a better price before shopping here. Its just a good practice when shopping for just about anything and not just furniture.

Do NOT spend your money here if you care about being valued as a customer and receiving your orders on time. We placed an order for a sectional couch and full bedroom set in the beginning part of April 2021… it is now late September 2021 and we still do not have our orders fully filled! The salesman (Jeremy) informed us the pieces would be in no later than June and hoped “we could be patient with the delays due to COVID”. The initial two month delay wasn’t that big of a deal but when you spend thousands of dollars on furniture….a now 5 month wait is absolutely unacceptable. I attempted to contact the salesman with my delay concern but never got a call back to my voicemail after the 2nd round of delays. The night stands that were delivered were defective and it took them weeks to line up a second delivery…only for the replacements to be in even WORSE condition. So now we are waiting another few weeks for a second set of replacement pieces hoping they are not defective as well. This whole time the store has not been very responsive; with my most recent complaint I was assured a regional manager would contact me to work the problem…it’s been over a week and I still have not been contacted by anyone from the store or regional office. Seems they only care about sales and bottom line rather than the customers. Worst retail service we have ever experienced. Wish I could rate this zero stars.

Could NOT be more disappointed in the customer service at the Destin store. We furnished our whole condo with Rooms to Go and purchased the extra warranty for any needed replacements as we rent our space and the furniture would see a lot of usage. The finish wore off the dining room table and the frame of the sectional broke. We opened a service ticket, and after double the time we were told it would take, someone from the store came out and took photos and evaluated the furniture and sent the findings to the warranty company. After more than two weeks of silence, we called the store and were told they didn’t see any active service tickets. Then we were told to call the warranty company. Per the warranty company, both pieces qualified for replacement but we would have to pick a different sectional of equal or greater value as they no longer carried that piece. We were advised that these replacements had been approved and all we needed to do was call the store to arrange delivery for the table and pick out a different sectional to order. When I called to do so, I was informed by the store that they saw nothing in the notes regarding any approval for replacement. So after two more back and forth phone calls we were finally on the same page. The table was in stock, we scheduled delivery, and the salesman we had been working with named Kyle told me that he would call back within a few days regarding the status of the couch we had selected. Not only did we never hear from Kyle again, but when the new table was delivered we found out that instead of replacing the damaged dining table that was documented, they replaced the outdoor table that was in perfect condition and did not need replacing. MONTHS into this absolute nightmare we STILL have not had any luck getting a call back regarding the dining table or sectional, weeks after opening yet another service ticket and having absolutely no contact from the store. If I could go bask and do it again I would go literally ANYWHERE ELSE to purchase furniture. I highly discourage anyone considering using this horrible company and I wish we had never gone with Rooms to Go. I’d give zero stars if I could

I spoke with Harley a week prior to coming to the store and met with this morning. He explained everything in detail about what I was interested in and answered all my questions, I was in and out in hour or so with all my furniture ordered. Excellent salesperson and was knowledgeable about all aspects.

I bought another end table to match the one I have. The service was fast, pleasant and gave me helpful suggestions to help match a future purchase of side chair to a living room couch, by bringing in a cushion to check if the colors would coordinate. The 5 star is for Lisa Hurt and the store but customer care at Corperate is different. I bought my couches about 1-1/2 years and one was a powered one. After one month it stopped working. I called and told them the noise it was making and they said they have to get a tech out and took two months. Came out and said yes it’s the motor and ordered it. Took 4 months to come in and then they sent someone out to bring it. Once they got here they dropped it off and said ok someone will contact you to install. So instead of having some one bring it to install they just dropped it off. Scheduled someone to come on two more months later and then rescheduled. Never heard back after 6 months and my sales associate that was great I knew from my business and asked if they ever came out and said no. She called and got someone to schedule me two months which was September 2nd of this year. Come in and said there isn’t a motor here they sent you the frame that holds the motor. At this point I’m done and he called his boss and said can we Expedite to help cause I’m moving at the end of the month. When I asked 1 yr ago what were they going to do to help since I’ve been paying for this the while time and it’s broke. They said we can offer you a $50 gift card to rooms to go lol . After almost two years it’s still not fixed and customer care is absolutely horrible not the store but after you buy. Please think twice about buying from Rooms to go.

My wife and I purchased living room furniture for our beach condo from Rooms To Go in Destin Fl a few months ago. As sometimes happens there was a glitch with delivering the entire order. The pandemic has severely interrupted production and distribution systems. Store manager Kim Cavros stepped up and gave us amazing personal service to locate and expedite delivery of our needed items. Not only that but when we errored and lost a piece of our delivery he went to bat for us again! Truly above and beyond the call service from a man managing one of the busiest stores. Thank you Kim for making our experience a great one!!

This is the most awful shopping experience I’ve ever had. I did all my research online and am ready to purchase at the store to replace the Cindy Crawford sleeper sofa that I had in one of my rental unit, in fact, I was ready to purchase a whole living room set to replace my current set up.I walked into the store, middle of the week, by myself, - Asian, and dressed very casually. One sales person was talking to a customer In the right side of the store, another sales person was in the middle close to the entrance, saw me and didn’t greet nor say one single word to me. I saw the set that I want and continue walking around the store, another sales associate was sitting right in the middle of the store at a dining table, playing on his cell phone, looked up and look right back down. So far still nobody greets me, and they’re not busy doing anything.I walked back towards the front of the store, took out my tape measure and start measuring the sofa. The first associate that I saw on the right who still has no greetings, sat on a chair right in front of where I am. I think it is obvious that I am interested in that sofa but he still didn’t say one single word, didn’t asked me if I need any help.I have observed that they’ve greeted an older woman, a middle-age man and another couple who walked in after me. So basically everybody else but no one seems to want to greet me and ironically I’m the one who is ready to purchase, while all the others were just browsing and walked out.Needless to say, I didn’t make any purchase nor make my attempts to ask any questions. I promised myself that I will not get anything from this store, ever.I would think that selling furniture is a customer service, and with this culture in this store it makes me think that it is from the top down. Doesn’t matter though, choices are out there.It’s just sad though when you are in a customer service or commission based industry and yet they cannot get past the stereotyping thinking in their head to treat every customer right.

If I could give Rooms To Go zero stars, I would do so. I purchased a Beachside sectional sofa from Rooms To Go Destin, and had some concern about the light color but decided to purchase after 2 sales associates told me the protection warranty covered all stains for 3 years. They both went on to explain that the sofa would be replaced if any stain could not be removed! Since I bought a Barcelona Sofa and love seat a couple of years earlier and received the same sales pitch I had no reason to believe it wasnt accurate. So I buy the sofa and the protection. Its quite sneaky how the documents are then parceled together with a small pamphlet describing the protection in detail - after the purchase and just before leaving the store. I called customer service to clarify and was assured my sofa was covered for 3 years- any stains. 2 years later I put in a claim. A service tech came to my house and said he would order new covers on a few of the cushions. Today, I receive a call from customer support telling me the stains are not covered - only spots are covered. These are spots!! Multiple spots on a sofa that is not used very often because it sits in my living room that I do not use daily. After being transferred to the manager she tells me I can have my covers laundered and they will reimburse me the cost of the cleaning. 1st- this is not what I purchased and 2nd - this is not honoring their contract - albeit a verbal (yet enforceable) contract at this point because I was bamboozled into a worthless protection package. If I hadnt had so many problems with this sofa from the start I might consider taking a chance that my cleaning bill will be reimbursed but this sofa, only 2 years old and used about 4 hours a month, has already been replaced once. It has sagging cushions, crooked covers, threads fraying and lopsided back cushions. It looks pathetic and based on my conversation today with Rooms To Go, I am more than happy to tell everyone this ugly sofa is a Rooms To Go sofa. I just wanted some covers people - while it is still under warranty so I could get some life out of this lifeless junk of a sofa.

We would definitely use rooms to go again. Our whole house is now basically filled with rooms to go furniture and we are very satisfied with the quality, convenience and sales personnel, especially Lee and the management at the Destin location. The robin blue tv console with the faux (glass) color changing fireplace, which he recommended, is absolutely beautiful and we get so many compliments on it. Plus it holds our 70 inch tv! Our Cindy Crawford Bellingham furniture in sand/alabaster is even more beautiful in person than we remember from seeing it in the showroom. Just today, we ordered an additional dresser to go in our guest room, and once again, Glenn was great to work with and very responsive!

We love this place! Bought some really nice furniture and they have a plan where you can make payments with no interest for a certain period of time! Its great if you pay it off ahead of time. However cash only is our motto in this household. They have a wide selection of all kinds of furniture. We have bought bedroom furniture here and really good quality mattresses as well. when you walk in the store you can get lots of information and help and not buy anything without a lot of pressure. The store is behind whole foods if you are looking for the entrance to it. Their prices are very comparable and actually if you go in there with an ad they will match the price.
